The United Center was absolutly PACKED! It was great seeing all of the supportive fans ranging from all ages, little kids, to the older people. I felt like I was swimming in a sea of red, with my three life supporters keeping me aloat. It was hard to imagine that I had never before been to a Blackhawks game. I had moved from different states prevously, but we finally landed here. My family and I had gone from colorado, to Indiana, and finally, at the age of 10, We moved to the great city of Chicago. Along the way I made great friends, Amanda Brooks, who I had met in kindergarden nd had moved up here with her family a year after my family and I left. Then there was Tessa, who I never whould have imagined we would have became friends. We just never seemed like the people to get along, but we're practically like sisters! And then there was Lauren Ross, We met during my freshman year of highschool, and through marching band. I was so lucky to have her with me, and sure, she's not the biggest fan of hockey. I mean, for crying out loud she didn't even have a single hawks thing on! It meant alot that she was here. This day kept getting better and better. First celebrating my 19th birthday at my first Blackhawks game, with my best friends, but we also had seats against the glass! It was as if this day couldn't get any better.

The game felt like it was going along pretty well, we were up 2-0 at the end of first period. And each time we got a goal all 4 of us got up and danced. But when it slowly crept into second period I guess things were starting to get a little interesting.

"Oh. My. GOD! Lily! Did you just see that?!" Tessa turned to me and looked like she was going to explode.
"What? Jeez calm down! Yes, its a great game, but chill!" I looked at her and laughed. She then smacked her face with her palm.
"So you didn't see it?" She looked at me
I laughed, "Whatever it is, probably not since you won't say it."
"Jonathan Toews was STARING at you!" She smiled. I looked at her, trying to read her expression to tell wether or not she was lying, and from what I could tell, she wasn't
I glared at her "You're lying."
"NO! I'm not! I swear! He was staring at you!" I could tell she was starting to get annoyed. I bursted out laughing at her.
"So help me Lily Dunn, I'll make him smile at you again so you will realize it."
I chuckled, " and how will you do that? Your mind powers?"
She rolled her eyes, "Exactly... I don't know. All I know is that you will meet him tonight! I need to make this your best birthday ever."

I smiled at her! Did she seriously not see me? Out of all of the girls in the stands, I saw her, and she didn't see me back? How?!
I couldn't help but think of her, I know, its pretty bad, but there was something about her, And I don't even know her! I looked down the bench to sharpy, who gave me a thumbs up. I was kinda confused as to why he did it. Then I realized, he saw me staring at her. Dang. Kaner skated up to me and got on the bench with me.
"Dude! I saw you eyeing that girl! Whats going through the captains head? Because its certainly not this game!" Patrick Smirked.
I couldn't help to smile to myself, "Shut up Kane."
"Oh come on! Everyone saw it!"
"You're an idiot."
"No, I;m just trying to help you out!"
I looked over at him, and then looked away.
"Come on bro, we gotta find her after the game."
"Yeah, have fun with that."
"Is captain serious being too serious?"
God, I was getting ready to slug him.
" Seriously! Whats wrong!" He kept nagging me and nagging me.
"I don't think she saw me..." I finally admitted.
"well we'll make her see you! And you better help me find her afterwards!"
I rolled my eyes.. "You never shut up do you?" And with that, we made our line changes and I got out onto the ice... I was suprised how worked up I was about this. Its just that she, she, was amazing. But I couldn't exactly pinpoint what was attracting me to her. I wanted to know more about her.

"Toews!" I quickly looked up to see the puck being passed to me, and I knew. I had to go for it. I got ahold of the puck and charged down to Detroits side of the rink, and saw Zetterberg out of the corner of my eye, and Kane who was wide open, I passed the puck to Kane, and got a hard hit by Zetterberg. I fell to the ice but got back up and saw the girl. I smiled at her, and to my suprise, she smiled back! I got my head back into the game and Kane passed the puck to me, and I sent it flying past Howard, and into the net. Score! I got us up another point, 3-1 with 10 seconds remaining on the clock in the second period. And I also scored a smile, I didn't know what I was happier about. I smiled again to her and she smiled and waved, as I skated back to the bench.
