Hockey, Love & Figure Skating

Practice makes perfect.

I was just finishing up my routine for the third time today, even though the 2014 winter Olympics is still a long time away I still have to practice for other events, and practice makes perfect right! I started my routine again while my coach watched on. Almost being finish with my routine for the last time today in the corner of my eye I saw a herd of hockey players coming from the tunnel, I didn’t really pay much attention to it. After I was done I skated over to the bench where my coach and a lottt of men in hockey gear were. I heard some claps and whistles from some of the players and I just smiled and grabbed my water bottle from coach, taking a few sips while listening to my coach talk about things I need to improve. I went over to the opening to get off the ice and there stood a tall guy with really pretty blue eyes looking at me as I squeezed by him & I just looked up and smiled, he was in goalie gear and it took up most of the space. I went over and grabbed my bag as the guys went onto the ice. I took off my skates putting them into my bag then putting on my boots, I looked out onto the ice once again and the guy or goalie before was still looking at me, kinda creepy considering he had his mask on, I just looked away grabbing the rest of my stuff and headed down the tunnel with my coach ready to just go home, take a nice bath, eat then go to sleep for at least a week, but knowing that isn’t possible considering I still have to come back and practice the next morning. Saying bye to coach and getting in my car, groaning when I try to even move a little because of being so sore. I turn on my favorite song singing along even though I’m horrible, I then drive away from the ice rink going back to my apartment to just relax until the next morning.
