Chapter 1: Christian
*Christians Pov*
Hey Y'all! I'm Christian 14 years old, I grew up in Buffalo NY with my older sister Jackie who's 30, Older brother Patrick who's 21, Older sister Jessica who's 20, And older sister Erica who's 19. I'm the baby of the family. When I was 5 my parents both passed away in a car accident. Since then, my sister Jackie decided to take care of Jessica, Erica, and I and let us live with her and her bf in Georgia, so we're a southern family. Patrick had lived with my aunt and uncle in Buffalo, so I wasn't around him much growing up. As you all know, my brother is a pro hockey player, so he never had time to come visit us. I never had someone there to talk to about "brother stuff". Oh, I forgot to mention I have a very rare a condition known as myostatin-related muscle hypertrophy which increases muscle mass while lowering body fat. That means I'm very energetic and I none stop constantly eat and don't gain weight, only muscle!

"Christian! Are you ready to go to lacrosse practice?" Jackie Yelled for him.
Christian walked into the kitchen ready to go, "Yes. By the way, after I'm going to a friends house. We're studying for a tomorrows test."
Jackie said, "That's fine. Just let me know if you need a ride home, ok? And we need to talk about doing home school for you, because your grades are dropping. Plus, I think it's better for you anyways."
"But I have friends at school!" Christian argued
"You have practice let's go?" Jackie said not wanting to start an argument.
*At home with Jackie*
"Hey sweetie" Jeff, Jackie's husband walked in and kissed her, "how has your day been?" Seeing that she looked stressed and unsure of something.
"You know how we've been talking about having Pat take care of Christian and having Christian live there with him?" Jackie said
"yes?" Jeff responded with confusion
"I'm going to call Patrick and tell him that's our final decision"
Jeff had agreed, Jessica and Erica had already moved out and were either in college or just finishing up with it. Also, Jeff was wanting to start a family with Jackie, and saw that Pat could use some responsibility.
*On the phone with Pat*
Jackie: Hey Pat! How are you?
Pat: I'm good! How are you?
Jackie: I'm alright. So I need to talk to you about something. And it's important, so no messing around.
Pat: What's up?
Jackie: I really would like for Christian to come and live with you. permanently.
Pat: Listen Jackie, I've never been there for the kid-
Jackie: Exactly, so be there for him now! He needs to have a guy in his life who's actually related to him!
Pat: Fine! I'll pick him up in 2 days, we could meet at our old house in Buffalo and I'll take his stuff and he'll move to chicago with me.
Jackie: Thank you! You'll love the kid! He's just like you, except he's a bit of a redneck.... sorry
Pat: Oh god, you've got to be joking. whatever It'll be fine. Can I talk to him?
Jackie: He's actually just finishing with practice, then he's going to a friends house to study. You'll see him in like 2 days.
Pat: That's true. Love you Jackie! Tell Jeff I say hey and I'll see you in a few days.
*Pats Pov*
My sister just asked me to take care of our brother who I hardly know. I have no idea what the fuck I just got myself into! Good thing Tazer is my room mate! He could help me out. He has a younger brother, but his brother isn't a whole 7 years younger... Oh God! I'm screwed!

Jonathan walks in, "Hey Kaner, you ok? You don't look to good."
"I just agreed to take care of my younger brother who I haven't seen in 9 years!" Patrick said freaking out.
"I didn't know you had a little brother! How come we've never met him?" Jon asked
Patrick said, "because he moved to Georgia with Jackie, and she took care of him. I'm pretty sure the kid hates my fucking guts, I've never been there for him. I'm a horrible older brother!"
"Patrick, he is your brother, I'm sure he doesn't hate you! He probably understands. I mean come on, you're a pro hockey player. You haven't really had time to be there for him. Just while he is here, be there for him, show him that you care about him." Jon said trying to calm Patrick down.
"Maybe you're right. He's going to be in 2 days. Are you ok with him living here with us?" Patrick asked concerned. Jon reassured him he didn't have a problem with Patricks little brother living with them.
