I smiled as I walked down the tunnel, fist bumping the Kings staff. We had won the game 5-2.

"Way to go Jakie!" Called Mike, as I walked into the dressing room.

A dubstep song was playing, and I sat down in my stall, tossing my gloves to an equipment manager.

I took off all of my equipment, and walked to the showers, grabbing my body wash and shampoo.

"Hey Jake." Said Dustin. "Nice game."

I nodded, and thanked him.

After my shower, I gelled my hair, and put on my tuxedo.

"See you boys!" I called, heading out to the hallway to wait for the team.

"Jake! The bus is ready." Said our personal bus driver, motioning to the VIP exit.

I nodded, and thanked him.

Avia came running up to me, grinning from ear to ear.

"Good game!" She said breathlessly.

I smiled, and thanked her.

"Why are you here so early?" I asked curiously. "The bus leaves in an hour an a half."

"I know." She nodded. "I wanted to come down and say hi."

I grinned.

"Where's Emmi?" I asked her.

She turned and pointed. Emmi was walking down the hallway toward us.

"Mom and Dad told me to tell you they're leaving for the hotel. We're supposed to stay with you." She said to me.

I nodded.

"Come on. I'll show you around the bus. We can get settled."

They nodded in unison, and I led them down the hallway to the VIP exit.
