2009:
”Patrick, I’m home”, I yelled. I didn’t get an answer, so I walked to the bedroom, where I knew he probably was since we have the TV there.
“What the fuck?!”, I yelled when I saw my Patrick with a blonde girl in the our bed. “Are you fucking kidding with me?”
“Fuck”, he mumbled for himself before turning his head to me. “Let me explain, Bianca, please!”
I felt the tears streaming down my face. “No, Patrick, no”
I took my bag, and started packing my clothes.
“Don’t do this to me, Bianca. Please….”, he whispered.
“Excuse me, Patrick fucking Kane?! This is the second time I’ve caught you having sex with a girl. It’s the damn second time! I’m probably not good enough for you, so you should be happy you’re free now. You can do what the fuck you wants, I don’t care anymore. We are over”, I yelled at him. “And don’t you dare to try to change my mind, because I won’t. I’m so fucking done with you”
“Bianca, please –“
I cut him off. “No, Patrick. Don’t even try. It’s over, we’re over”
I ignored him for the rest time I packed my things.

I turned me around when I was just going to get into the airport.
“Bye, Chicago”, I whispered. “I’ll miss you, you damn beautiful city”

It was 15 minutes until I had to board the flight, so I decided to call the person I knew I could trust to 100%.
“Bianca?”, I heard my mom’s voice. “What’s going on, sweetie? What's on your mind?”
“Mom, I’m coming home.”, I told her. “I’m coming back home to Canada”
“Wait, what? Why?”, she asked me. She sounded so worried.
“I’ll explain at home. I’m not sure I can do it over the phone.“, I said and tried to not cry, but it was so hard.
“Oh, okay”, she added “When are your flight landing?”
“By 7pm”, I answered her. “I need to board in just some minutes. I love you, mom. See you soon”
“I love you too, honey.”
