Don't Get Laid Where You Get Paid
~Confronting Jordan~
When Jordan turned me around so suddenly and kissed me, I began to melt. Until I snapped into what was happening. I pulled back after a few seconds and had the great urge to slap him. "What was that!?" I yelled at him. Nobody could thankfully hear thanks to the loud music, but he did.
"What? I was just giving you a kiss, what's so wrong about that?" Is he acting dumb with me? You have got to be kidding. I stormed off to the booth to get my purse and leave. The boys still in the booth all noticed how pissed off I was, they all went "oh!" I turned at them.
"Where's my purse?" I growled. Marc-Andre held it up for me. I snatched it and stormed out. I'll have some good thoughts in the car. How dare he does that to me? Is he really that dumb!?! I can get fired for stuff like that, and I really need to keep this job. And besides, he's not even my technical client. Ohh I'm so mad! But then again, it was a good kiss...and he does have really nice lips and eyes......and hair-oh my gosh! What am I thinking!?! Ugh. I need to sleep about this. And that's exactly what I'll do.
2 days later, after the next practice for the Pens, I was waiting outside the dressing room. I have to tell him now. He came out laughing back into the dressing room, that's when I got up. Thing's have been a bit awkward since. I can’t stand even looking at him, that’s how bad it’s been. And I need to talk to him sooner or later but I need to get over this hunch in order for this to work out.
"Hey Jordan, can I uh, talk to you?" I asked nervously.
"Uh, sure, what do you wanna talk to me about?"
"Come this way," I showed him to a little room for maintenance that nobody uses.
"Never knew about this room being here before," he said coming in and looking around.
"Yeah, only maintenance people know about it," I replied locking the door.
"Figures," he sighed. I got right in front of him, our chests basically touching. "So we gonna play eleven in heaven?" he winked.
"No, and isn't it seven in heaven?"
"Not with me, you just can't get enough of my heaven," he said with a cheesey grin on his face. I wish I could slap it right off of his face.
"Oh my god," I said putting my hand on my face, "the reason why I wanted to talk to you is because of what happened the other night with the whole kiss," I got low.
"Why? It happened and I plan on it happening again."
“No, no, no Jordan. It can't happen again."
"Why not?"
"Because I can't do it with you-"
"Oh, so we were gonna do it?" he winked smiling.
"N-no! What I mean is that I'm not gonna hook up with you at all. Or anyone on the team for that matter.”
"Why not? Isn't it most girls fantasies to bring home a hockey player to dad?"
"For most yes, but for me, no. Listen, the reason is because first of all, I'm not into you like that," (God it's not true!) I clasped my hands together and continued, "and also because I can get fired if I'm caught hooking up with the guys."
**Jordan's POV**
She looked serious at me. "Why?" I asked.
"I don't know. So this can't happen okay?" she asked touching my face that looked heartbroken. I looked away.
"No, I understand," I dropped my head. She made a face at me, looking concerned.
"I'm sorry," she said getting out to leave. I sighed then walked out afterwards. I saw Sid, who came up to me.
"What was that about?" he asked, making a scrunched face.
"Oh nothing, just a good make out," I lied, walking away smirking. Leaving him thereto think. Haha, my plan is working. One way or another, I’ll get what I want, I always do.
