I slipped my hand underneath the navy and white comforter that we shared on our king sized bed. I didn't stop until my hand was hovering above the tiny black socks that were half slipped off of her feet.

Alright Brandon, if you do this she will probably kick you so hard that you will never have children again.........screw it, i'm doing it

I slowly took my index finger and and dragged it from her heels to the tips of her toes. This made her squirm a little bit.

not good enough

When she stopped stirring underneath the heavy blankets, I added two more fingers and made them dance up and down her foot until she was thrashing around and gasping for air because of all the laughing she was doing.

"You're a little shit head, you know that right?" she said to me while she closed her eyes and pushed herself down into the blankets.

"No way, kid. You're not going back to bed. I have to be on a plane in 3 hours and I'm not wasting anymore of our time together. Get your ass up!" I said to her while I ran my hand over her exposed sides.

"You know, Mr. Saad, you can do other things in bed besides sleeping" she smiled slyly.

I took the hint loud and clear and pushed myself up against her back, Slowly dragging my hand to the band of her underwear.

"hmphmm" a still sleepy Kayleigh moaned into her pillow.

"already moaning? You're too easy babe"

"Tell Coach Q that you have the flu so you can stay home with me. We can have a repeat of this morning if you're lucky" Kayleigh said to me while wrapping her tiny arms inside of my jacket to escape the bitter morning air of Chicago.

"As tempting as that sounds, I don't get paid if I don't play. I know you have your eyes on that new Burberry coat" I said after I kissed the top of her head.

Little did she know, I'm actually saving up for her engagement ring

"Fine, leave. I understand, really I do" she said in an overly dramatic tone.

"Passive-aggressive today, are we? I do actually need to get going. I don't want to get stuck sitting next to the bathroom again considering what happened last time Kaner brought Chipotle on a plane" I said while pointing at the bag full of Mexican food he had in his hand.

I looked down and noticed Kayleigh was making the "I'm about to cry but i'm trying my hardest to smile" face and I pulled her into one of my famous bear hugs.

"I'll only be gone for 3 days baby. Pittsburgh, Florida, Dallas, and then right back here in your arms. Promise"

"pinky promise?" she said while a single tear fell from her hazel eyes

"Pinky promise, Doll. I love you but I have to go"

After a few more tears, she wrapped herself around my thick torso and managed a small "I love you too"

"HAAA, LOOKS LIKE MAN CHILD GOT STUCK NEXT TO THE BATHROOM AGAIN!" An overly happy(and probably drunk) Patrick Kane said while digging into his monster sized burrito.

this is going to be a long ass flight to Pittsburgh

okay guys, I know this is way different than the first version of this story but I really had no idea where the first version was going. I already have almost everything planned out for this one. I know the first chapter is pretty short and boring, but it will get better, I promise!

Also, the sexy time will drastically improve, unless you guys don't want anything like that. I can always keep that PG if necessary. Tell me what you think!
