Taylor's POV
I couldn't have been more excited as we reached the house. Megan and I had been best friends since grade school and I couldn't believe that we were actually doing this. My brother Ryan forward for the Chicago Blackhawks was in town for a few days between games so he could help us move in.
"Damn how many floral bags of shit did you guys bring" Ryan said as he carried all of our vera Bradley luggage out of Megan's range rover. After we finished getting all of the bags in the car we decided to go to dinner. As usual Ryan got to decide so we ended up going to some sports bar right by the united center. As we were giving the waitress our drink orders Ryan's phone started buzzing, he answered the call and walked outside. As we were sitting there I asked Megan if she still had a little but of a crush on Ryan, I mean they dated up until it was time for us to focus on college. Before she could answer Ryan came back inside. But he was not alone. "Tay, Meg, this is Patrick, and this is Jon" I knew who they were. I had always kept up with hockey and the hawks were my favorite team. They sat down with us and Ordered drinks. After a few drinks Megan and Ryan went back to his apartment , they obviously had missed each other. Jon had to go so it was just patrick and I.
"So tell me about yourself" asked patrick
"Well you know Ryan pretty well so where do I start"
"how long have you lived here? I haven't seen you around"
" I just moved down here actually. Megan's sister runs a boutique right across the street from Ryan's building and Megan's plan was to work there after she was done with school and she asked me to come with"
"where did you go to school?"
"University of minne-"
Megan comes running over and sits down.
"Tay we need to leave now"
"But meg I was ju-"
"NOW"
Patrick took my phone and put his number in and I did the same to his and then I left.
when we got back to our house Megan was freaking out because she was back in love with Ryan. I was sitting there ignoring her rambling when my phone buzzed it was from Patrick
Patrick: I really enjoyed talking to you tonight.
Tay: yeah it was fun
Patrick: how about tomorrow ill take you to some of the best things to see in Chicago"
Tay: that actually sounds really great if you wouldn't mind
Patrick: Ill get your address from Ryan and pick you up at noon
Tay: Sounds great
