Taylor's POV


My alarm went off at 9 which would give me just enough time to shower and get ready. I threw my Luke Bryan playlist on and started dancing around. I let my hair or dry to give it it's natural curl threw on a gopher hockey tee shirt with a black north face and a pair of miss me skinny jeans and I was ready. To finish it off I grabbed a pair of pearl earrings and my necklace with the number 32 on it. 32 was my old hockey number. I was ready just in time as I got a text from Patrick
"Almost here"
i threw on my tall chestnut uggs and grabbed my keys and phone and walked out the door. I didn't even bother telling Megan because I figured I would be home fairly early. I hop into his truck and he starts telling me all the places we are gonna go. It's a bunch of small talk until we get to the sears tower. I had been to Chicago once as a kid with Megan and some other friends so I was excited to be here again. As we were going up the elevator this old fat guy kept yelling about how squished he was. I was trying not to laugh the whole time. When we got up there it was so gorgeous. He was showing me everything from up there, Wrigley field, where Ryan's apartment was, the train station, the hawks store, everything. When we had finally had enough we went down the elevator with the same Squished man. He recognized Patrick and started talking hockey with him. Patrick's eyes light up when he talks about hockey. It's so cute. By that time it was 1:30 and he asked if I had ever had Chicago pizza, I said no and we went to Gino's east. It was really cool you could write on the walls as you waited. There was a huge line but we didn't have to wait because he's you know Patrick Kane. So we sat down and started talking, he asked me about hockey and I told him I used to play. We started talking about how the season was going, and then he asked if Megan and I were going to the game the next night against the Minnesota Wild, I told him that Ryan had tickets hooked up for us and that I could chose to either be in a suite or glass seats right by the bench. He told me to take the glass seats and he would look for us. After the pizza came and we ate we went to see the lake. I had seen many lakes growing up in Minnesota but there was something about how the city reflected on this one that I liked a lot. We walked around millennium park just talking and laughing for a while and then I got a text from Megan asking where I was so I figured I better be going home. The whole ride back was filled with laughter. He walked me in and said goodbye. He kissed me on the cheek. I was really surprised he didn't try anything more because I knew his reputation. It was a really nice day.
