How It All Began
You've dreamt of this day forever. You've had everything picked out and planed since you were 14. Now you get to see it all come to life because your fiance Jonathan got you everything you wanted for the wedding. He said he wanted to make you happy,and he knew giving you everything you wanted would make you happy. Plus he could! He had enough money to give you whatever you wanted! Which he usually did, he loved to spoil you even though you told him not too. But he sure made you feel like a princess. Which to him you are. You're his everything, he would do anything for you. I guess you could say you had him wrapped around your finger. But it was okay because you loved him more than anyone in the world. You've had a crush on him since the day you first saw him.
*Flashback*
It was his rookie season with the Chicago Blackhawks, the very team you grew up watching with your dad. He was 19 at the time and so were you so it made it more realistic that you could date him. Lucky for you that wish was going to happen. For your birthday your dad got tickets to the Blackhawks game vs their most hated rivals, the red wings. You were excited because those games were always the best to watch but better if you're there in the United Center. Which this time you would be, which only made you more excited. But to your surprise there was more to the present. Besides the tickets your dad got passes to go down to the locker room after the game for autographs! which only made the whole thing even better. you were so excited. You hugged your dad and thanked him for the best present and ran upstairx to call your best friend to tell her what was going to happen to you on Friday. Once you were upstairs you grabbed your phone and jumped on your bed while dialing your friends number. "Hello?" she said picking up.
"Oh my go you wont believe what my dad got me for my birthday!!!" you said trying not to scream in your friends ear. "What?!?!"
"He got me tickets to Friday nights hawks game vs the redwings!!! and they're seats behind the player bench! OUR player bench!!!"
"Are you serious?!?! I'm so jealous!! i wish my dad was that cool!!"
"Haha. But wait theres more."
"What else did he get you?!?!"
"He got passes to go down to the locker room after the game to get autographs!!!!"
"WHAT?!?!!"
"Yes!!! Im going to meet Jonathan Toews!!! My huge crush!!" "Okay, now im really jealous!! I fucking hate you!! You're going to get to meet Patrick Kane too!! Im so jealous i wanna go!!"
"I would take you if there wass another ticket. You know i would. I wouldn't even have to think about it!!but theres only two tickets and pas...." You try to say but your dad interrupts you to say,
"I suppose thats Summer you're talking to?"
"Yeah it is, why?"
"Okay well good. Tell her that we will pick her up at 4 on Friday to go to the game." He says simling.
"You mean theres 3 tickets and passes?!?!" You say shocked. "Yeah. didnt you look through them all??"
"No i only ifgured you got two, one for me and one for you!!" "Guess you better get better at looking through things."He says making fun of you.
"Haha dad."
"Better tell her." He says leaving your room.
"Summer did you any of that?!"
"No sorry I didnt."
"Okay well ill just tell you. Theres 3 tickets and passes so you get to go to the game with us!!!"
"ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!?!"
"Yes!! my dad said well pick you up at 4 on Friday."
"Okay!! ill be ready before that but ill be waiting!!" She says sounding like you when you found out.
"Okay well i got to go. ill talk to you tomorrow at school. Love you!!"
"Okay love you too!! Bye!!" She says hanging up the phone.
On friday after school you met Summer at her locker to discuss your plans for that night. "
Hey so well pick you up at 4 then well drive to Chicago and when we get there well go to the United Center and then we can get in and look around before the game."
"Okay sounds great! im so ecited to meet Patrick Kane!! ahhh, i love him so much!!"
"Haha as if i didnt know. Anyways wear your jersey with me." "Okay i was planning on it lol. Hey we should wear our hair down too!Straight with cruls!!"
"Yes thats what i was thinking!! haha okay well i gotta go my dads waiting for me in the car."
"Okay see you at 4!!"
When you got home you ran straight to your room to get ready. You throw your bookbag on your bed, luckly you didnt have homework for the weekend so you didnt have to worry about getting it done before you left. Everythings laid out and ready so all you had to do was do your hair, get changed and fix your makeup. Around 3:15 your ready to go, you make sure your have everything you need. you have your sharpie for signatures, you have your camera, and you have the sign you made for Johnny. Everythings in placeand ready for the best night of your life. You guys arrived at the United Center earlier than planed since you picked Summer up at 3:30 instead of 4. Which neither of you had a problem with. it gave you more time to look around and take in the place you've only dreamt of being in since you were little.
At the final buzzer...
HAWKS WIN 4-1!!!!!
"Now its time to announce your 3 stars of the game!!" says the announcer. "Your third star of the game with one goal from your Chicago Blackhawks, Brandon Saad!!! your second star of the game with 3 assists from your Chicago Blackhawks< Patrick Kane!! And your number one star of the game with 3 goals and one assist from your Chicago Blackhawks, Jonathan Toews!!!!"
"Yay Jonathan Toews is the number one star of the game!!!! Ilove you Jonathan Toews!!!" You say holding up your sign for him to see.
"Okay stop drooling and lets go down to the locker room." says your dad telling you to go.
Down in the locker room the players were finishing up with their interviews and getting changed out of their sweaty hockey gear so you, Summer and your dad had to wait outside till you were told it was okay to come in. After about a half an hour you were told to come on in.
"Alright everybody, you can come in now for autographs and pictures."
"YAY!!!" you and Summer shrieked at the same time. When you and Summer first walked into the locker room the only thing the two of you could do was stop and stare at the two most beautiful 19 year olds you've ever seen. Right in front of you were Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane. The next thing you know you and Summer part ways so the both of you could go meet your crushes. It didnt take long for Summer to get Patrick's attention, she was a beautiful girl and she knew more about hockey then any of the guys at your high school and it really showed when she was discussing the game with Patrick. He seemed really impressed which was good for her becasue there was nothing she wanted more than talking hockey with Patrick Kane, besides be his one and only. On the other hand you were just staring at Jonathan till it was your turn to talk to him. But when he looked at you he instantly couldn't move. which helped you feel less dumb because you couldn't move either. He finally snapped out of it but he was still having trouble speaking.
"Hi im Jon..Jonathan."
"I know who you are Mr. Toews. I'm Jacqueline, your biggest fan." You said blushing as he gave you his famous half smile. "Well im glad my number one fan is a beautiful girl like you." He said smiling and signaling for you to turn around so he could sign your Toews jersey. This only made you blush harder.
"Well im glad i can be beautiful for you. Never really thought i was." You said hiding your face from him.
"What?! that is ridiculous!! You're gorgeous!! i mean if you couldnt tell when you walked up to me my heart started pounding and i just froze. You took my breath away!" He said blushing as he didnt look you in the eyes.
"well if it wasnt obvious, i have a major crush on you. Always have." This made him smile which only made your heart melt even more than it already had.
"Well i must say, i only just met you but i have a crush on you too." He said moving closer to you and taking your hand in his.
"Wow really?"
"Yeah. and if you wouldnt mind, i'd like to see you again." "Yes i would love that! Oh im sorry that seemed a little too eager."
"No its fine. it was cute. Here, let me see your phone." You did what he asked and you handed him your phone and watched him type in his name and number and then hand you back your phone.
"Here, text me sometime so i can see you again." He said before he kissed your cheek and grabbed his bag and walked out of the locker room. You were so stunned you couldnt even think straight till Summer came up to you and shook you out of your shocked state.
"Hey what happened?!"
"Here look for yourself." you pulled at your phone and unlocked it for your best friend to see the newly added contact.
"Oh my god!!!!! He gave you his number?!?!"
"Yes!!! and he said i was gorgeous and that even though we had only just met he had a crush on me!!"
"Oh my god thats fucking awesome!!" She said hugging you so tightly.
"I know, i cant believe it!! So I wanna hear what happened with you and Patrick!!"
"Well we talked about the game and he was impressed by how much i knew and that he had never met a girl like me! he even asked to see me again!!" She said practically jumping out of her skin.
"Well, what did you say?!?!"
"Yes of course!!! i gave him my number and told him to call when he was free and he said he would!"
"Oh my god Summer thats great!!! Now we can both say that we impressed our crushes and it worked!"
"Yes! its perfect!" Then the two of you walked out of the locker room back to your dad and headed home.
