What did you just say?
*Jon's POV*
"Jon, I'm pregnant."
Did I just hear that right or am I going crazy? Did my wife really just say that she was pregnant?
"Wait, what did you just say?" I said still confused.
"I said I'm pregnant." She said looking like she was about to cry.
So I did hear her right, I'm not crazy. When I looked at her again I realized she was crying and I couldn't figure out why. I thought this was supposed to be a good thing.
"Hey babe. What's wrong, why are you crying?" I asked tilting her head up to look at me.
"because I knew you would be mad at me. I told Summer this would be a bad thing. I knew I shouldn't have told you!" She said beginning to sob.
"hey hey hey! Look at me. Jacqueline look at me." I said trying to get her to look at me. "I'm not mad at you. I don't see any reason to be mad."
"then why did you just look at me like that?" She said looking up from her lap.
"I'm sorry babe I didn't mean anything by it. I was just stunned and I thought I heard you wrong and was going crazy. I'm happy we're having a baby! I mean that's all you've been talking about since we got married so now you can shut up about it cause it's happening!" I said tickling her sides knowing that I could get her to laugh while doing it.
"Haha Jonny stop it! That tickles!" She said trying to wiggle her way out of my grip.
"I know that's why I'm doing it. Plus I needed to hear that cute little giggle you have instead of seeing those tears." I said stopping from tickling her and wiping the rest of her tears away with my thumbs.
"Well, it sure did the trick. So your not mad about this?"
"of course not!! Baby girl, give me one reason why I would be mad at you?"
"because it will be interfering with your career." She said looking up at me on the vurge of tears.
"no it doesn't. I honestly don't see how it possibly could."
"Jon, you understand that once this baby is born our whole life's will change. Nothing will be the same." She said spinning and wrapping her legs around my waist.
"Yes I know that babe."
"so you know that for the first 3 months at least we won't get any sleep? Or that we won't be able to do some things we used to because we have a baby?"
"yes Jacqueline, I do. And I don't care."
"what do you mean you don't care?"
"I mean that I would do it everyday for the rest of my life just to make you happy. I know how much you want a baby and I'm not going to let my hockey career interfer with our lives. I mean there's never going to be a right time to have a baby." I said playing with her curly hair.
"awe Jonny!! Do you really mean that?"
"yes every word of it." I said kissing her.
"I knew I picked the right man to raise my children with." She said breaking our kiss before coming back to finish it.
"Oh I don't know if you know the answer to this but how far along are you?"
"3 weeks."
"wait a minute! So since our honeymoon??"
"I guess so!" She said with the biggest smile on her face.
"Well, alright then. Oh and I promise I'll always take care of you as long as I'm here."
"You promise?"
"I promise."
"no matter what?"
"ha no matter what. Not even when your being a huge pain in the ass." I said earning a slap in the center or my chest.
"okay, I'm holding you to that."
"okay go right on ahead."
"alright. I love you Jon."
"I love you too Jacqueline." I said kissing the most beautiful girl that I could call my own.
