2 Days Till Forever
Your wedding is only two days away and you couldnt be more nervous. Everything was perfect but it still felt like something was missing. Thats when it hit you, your father wasnt going to be there to walk you down the isle. He had died a few months ago. It was probably the worst moment of your llife. He had died only a few weeks after you told him you were getting married to Jonathan. the worst part about hie death wass that he was so happy for you because he knew that Jonathan was the right one for his baby girl. Just the thought of your dad not being here to walk you down the isle made you upset, and you began to cry.
"Whats wrong babe?"
"Nothing Jon."
"It doesnt seem like nothing to me." He says wiping some tears off your cheek.
"Its just, i miss him. i've always dreamt of my wedding day and it always started with my dad walking me down the aisle and giving me away to my perfect man. now that the days come hes not here to do it and it just isnt fair!" you say now beginning to sob into Jonathan's chest.
"Shhh babe. its okay. i know its not fair but we have to work with what we have. I'll walk you down the aisle myself."
"No. i want you to be standing at the alter waiting for me." "okay if thats what you want, this is your day and i want it to be special. then who do you want to walk you down the aisle?"
"Patrick. do you think he'd mind?"
"No not at all. i know that he would be honored to. here lets call him and ask him. but first lets get rid of all these tears." he said using his thumbs to wipe away the rest of the tears that has stained your cheeks.
After a few minutes Jon clamed you down so you could talk to Patrick. So you called Patrick practically shaking.
"hello?"
"Pat?"
"nope its Summer. whos this?"
"its Jacqueline."
"oh my gos h Jacqueline im so sorry!"
"its okay. i just called to ask Pat for a favor."
"Oh well he's in the shower right now but i can have him call you back when he gets out if you want."
"no ill just have you ask him for me."
"okay sure. so whats up?"
"can you ask him if he wouldnt mind walking me down the isle on saturday?"
"YES! of course i will! i totally forgot about your dad. which im really sorry about."
"thanks and thank you for asking him. i really appreciate it!" "anything for you girl. best friends till the end."
"most defiantly! okay well ill let you go. ill see you tomorrow! love you!"
"okay bye! love you too!" she said as she hung up.
After that the rest of the night was spent watching movies in bed with Jon before he had to leave so he wouldnt see you before the wedding. You watched all your favortie movies which included "the notebook", "the little mermaid", and "titanic". Towards the end of titanic you could feel yourself falling asleep in Jon's arms and finally you were out. You woke up the next morning with Jon's strong arms wrapped tightly around you. you looked over at the digital clock on your nightstand it see that it read 9:15, so you decide to go back to bed. the next time you woke up it was because Jon was trying to get up without waking you but failed because he couldnt get his arm out from underneath you.
"Morning babe. im sorry i didnt mean to wake you."
"Morning. and dont worry about it. so when do you have to leave me?" "
Not till 3." He said sitting down on the bed next to you and playing with your hair.
"Okay. you know i'll miss you like crazy."
"I'll miss you too baby. but after tomorrow you'll be mine forever. and i cant wait." he said kissing your forehead.
"yes, forever and always."
As if on que when 3 o'clock rolled around Pat and Summer showed up and were ready to party. but neither you or Jon wanted to leave. but you knew you had to part ways till tomorrow, the day you and Jon pledge your love for each other and promise to spend the rest of your lives together. "Alright, lets get goin' Jon!"
"okay im coming."
"goodbye jon. ill miss you so much!"
"i'll miss you too babe but dont worry, in less than 24 hours you'll be Mrs. Toews and you'll never have to leave my side." He said pressing his sweet lips to yours before he walks towards the door.
"I love you Jon!"
"I Love you too baby!" he said and then he was gone.
