What am I going to do
3 weeks after the honeymoon
It couldn't be true. This could not be happening, at least not this soon. You couldn't believe what you were reading. There was no way in hell you could tell Jon what was going on. Not until you were positive it was true. But before you could confirm this situation, you had to call Summer.
*On the phone with Summer*
"Hello?"
"Summer I need your help now!"
"What's going on? Did something happen between you and Jon?"
"Yes,well nothing bad. At least I don't think this is all that bad."
"What is it?"
"Just pleas come over and I'll explain."
"Alright. I'll be there in 20 minutes or so."
"Thank you!" You said hanging up the phone.
While your waiting for Summer to come over you tried to listen to music to calm yourself down. No one was home but you because Jon had practice till 12:30. It was only 10:45 so you had enough time to explain everything to Summer and still have time to make a visit to the doctor.
About 11:10 Summer finally showed up but was very worried about her best friend.
"Okay what's wrong? Start explaining."
"Okay. Well one, I've been sick for the past two weeks and I'm a week late."
"WHAT?! Are you saying what I think you're saying??"
"I don't know, you tell me." You say holding up the positive pregnancy test to your friend.
"OH..MY..GOD!!!!!!"
"I know!!!! What do I do?!"
"Well first you should go to the doctor and get a professional opinion because you and I both know those tests aren't always right. Then when you know for sure that your pregnant, you'll have to tell Jon."
"I can't tell him!! This could ruin everything!"
"What do you mean this could ruin everything?! This could be the best thing in the world for the two of you."
"They're in the process of winning the Stanley Cup! This could totally screw with his head. He could be more focused on me and the baby than the game and that could cost them and that would kill him but more importantly it would kill me!! I can't do that to him."
"I doubt it would distract him that bad. I mean the only way that would happen was if you were close to going into labor. Which you're not so he'll be fine. He'll be overly excited when you tell him your having baby, if it comes out to be true that you are. I promise."
"I don't know. Let's just go to the doctor and find out if this is really happening."
"Alright let's go before the boys get home."
*At the doctor*
It seemed to take forever at the doctors. You first sat there for 30 minutes before the nurse took you back to take a few tests and now 20 minutes later you're still waiting for the results.
"Summer this taking forever and it's making me more nervous!!"
"It's okay. Just relax everything will be fine."
"Oh my god it's after 12!!"
"Practice doesn't end till 12:30. We'll be fine. Calm down."
"I just don't want to get home after Jon because then I'll have to explain where I was and what's going on."
"That's true, but either way you'll have to tell him sooner or later."
"I know but I want to tell him when the times right."
Just ten the nurse came back with your test results.
"Well, Mrs. Toews I have some good news! Your test results show that you are indeed pregnant. You are actually 3 weeks pregnant."
"Wow thank you!"
"Congratulations!" She said before walking away.
"Yay your having a baby!!! I'm so happy for you! This is everything you've ever wanted!" Summer said giving you the biggest hug.
"I know! I can't believe it."
"I can't wait to meet my little niece or nephew!"
"Good, because I can't either!"
"Soon we'll both have little kids and they'll be best friends like the four of us!"
"Yes! That will be prefect!"
"Are you ready to go home?"
"Yeah." You say walking towards the doors.
"Oh my god!" You say stopping right outside the doors.
"What?" Summer asks looking confused.
"How am I going to tell Jon he's going to be a father?!" You say with complete fear in your eyes.
