I'm what

After Jon asking Addison what she wanted for Christmas. Pat was pissed at Jon for not manning up and tell her the truth. The only thing that Addison wants is to have Kennedy back with them. Helping her out a lot with everything that’s going on with the Blackhawks. Tonight was the Panthers, Kris’ old team is coming to town. Addison stayed a little bit more at the UC to catch up on some old films when they played them last time and how the Panthers are doing without Kris. When Addison pass the dressing room. She caught something in her eye. It was white, tall and moving. Addison pushes the door a little bit wider and couldn’t stop laughing. Jon was wearing a white leotard from head to toe.
“What’s so funny?” Jon asked.
“What are you wearing? It’s look weird.” Addison came in a little closer to touch the item Jon was wearing.
“It’s a little funny but this thing that I am wearing, it suppose to help me dry off quickly from all the sweat, water and sports drinks.” Then Kaner comes in looking like he’s a super hero.
“I feel like Iron Man in that cave sense right now.” Addison turn around and laugh again. This time Kaner was making her laugh. He was doing the robot dance and walking like a robot to his locker. Addison thinks that he needs something to get his mind off of Kennedy at the moment. The one time that Kennedy’s parents and Kaner’s parents are going to met is at the Family and Friends stake day. Addison turns around and right before she left the room.
“Addison?” Addison looked back over to Kaner.
“Kris, me and some of the players are going to the children hospital and I was wondering if you want to join?”
“Sure that would be great. When is it?”
“I think in a couple of days.”
“Hey Jon remember you have that calendar shoot for the Bickell Foundation.”
“Thanks for reminding me, I almost forgot.” During the photo shoot some of the guys were holding puppies. Jon asked Addison to join with them to met the dogs that were going to be in the photos. Addison was having a good time talking to Bickell and Shaw while Jon was shooting with this cute brown dog that was cuddling with Addison before it was it’s turn to that it’s photos. She fell in love with the dog but she knew that she doesn’t have the time to take care of one when she’s on the road with the team. After the photo shoot Jon couldn’t stop talking about how cute that dog was.

“You know Addison that we can adopt her.”
“I know Jon but we travel a lot and who’s going to take care of her. Beside we aren’t living together.” That silence the car ride back home.

It’s been a couple of days and Jon hasn’t brought up the dog subject. She needed Kennedy right now and talk to her about Jon and the dog. She loved that dog but all she could think was the bad idea to come having a dog. On the ride to the children’s hospital Kaner was on his phone and Addison was spying what Kaner was doing. Kaner was looking at photos of him and Kennedy. In the photos they do look like they are in love.
“Don’t worry Kaner she will come back before the family stakes.”
“How do you know that?” Still sounds depress about the whole thing.
“Christmas miracles.” Kaner laugh a little under his breath.
“That’s only in the movies.”
“Just trust me on this one Kaner. Beside I need her too, Jon think’s it’s a good idea to get a pet when we aren’t living together.”
“Really?” Pat look behind him.Do you know why he wants to have a dog?”
“No, I kinda shot him down before he could give his reason why. Right now lets go make kids smile right now.” During the time that we were there, it was cute to see the little kids with their bright smiles. Kris, Kaner and the some of the other players were having a good time with the kids. When Addison’s phone was ringing, when she looked at the caller ID. She though her heart would jump out of her chest. She walk away from the group and answer her phone.
“Hello?”
“I this Addison?”
“Yes is Kennedy up?”
“She is and she’s been asking you.”
“Ok I will be down soon.” When Addison hung up the phone, she turn around and see that Kaner didn’t hear her.
“Pat?” Patrick turn around and Addison told him that she needs to do something for Jon. Addison ran out to grab a taxi and headed to Kennedy’s hospital. Addison needed to call Jon.
“Hey baby.”
“Kennedy’s awake!” She scream in her phone.
“What?! When did this happen?”
“I don’t know when she got up but the hospital called me and I am headed down there right now. So if Kaner calls you. I told him that I was doing something for you.”
“So what are you doing for me?”
“I am buying your mother a Christmas gift.”
‘Good thinking and could you do that any way.”
“John!” Addison could hear him laughing.
“Ok I won’t tell him anything but do you want me to head down there to?”
“No I think I need to be there and only me. I will see you tonight then.”
“See you tonight and Addison.”
“Yeah?”
“I love you.” This is fist time that Jon told Addison that he loves her.
“I love you to, bye.” When she hung up on Jon, she shut her eyes and scream inside her head. When she walked into Kennedy’s room she couldn’t believe my eyes. Kennedy was eating and watching Ellen. When Kennedy saw her, Addison ran up to hear with tears in her eyes.
“You don’t have to cry dork.”
“These are tears of joy right now. You have no idea what you have been missing out. Jon just told me that he loves me.”
“Get out! When?” Kennedy pushes Addison.
“Right before I got here. Pat missies you a lot, when the team has a day off he would come here and to be here when you wake up.”
“Does he know that I am awake?”
“No, I think we should make this a surprise for him. I was thinking that tomorrow is the Family and Friends stake party. I told your parents about this then I was going to tell them the news of what happen but since your up. I don’t have to do it. Pat has today booked and he won’t be able to see you today or tonight. So this will be a great idea. When do you leave?”
“In a couple of hours, do you mind if I crash at your place tonight?”
“Duh, when don’t you.”
“Ok, so tell me everything and I mean everything.” So Addison told her the ups and downs when she wasn’t here with them. Even when Addison threw Kaner under the bus about how bad Kaner has been this whole season.

Addison and Jon go out on dates here and there but they will have dinner at Addison's place. Since Kennedy is spending the night it wasn’t going to be a date night. Tonight Addison was making pasta shells with stuff chicken and mushrooms. She didn't get all dress up since they were at her place. She loves to be around Jon. Jon was talking to Kennedy in the living room while Addison was getting the plates ready for them.
"So are you ready for tomorrow?” Jon ask.
“Yeah I miss him and I can’t wait to see what his face looks like when he sees me.”
“You and me both. Addison is your mom coming?”
“I think so but I haven’t called her about it. But since I told Kennedy’s parents I bet she heard it from her. Are your parents coming?"
"I think so but they are pretty busy, they have come down this before so they won't miss anything. This is really good Addison. I think also David is coming to.” Addison hasn’t met his dad or brother yet.

In the morning, Jon and Addison car pool over to UC to met all of the friends and family. Kennedy was coming in an hour so she could change into something better then what she wore last night. When they both walk in Addison quickly remove her hand out of Jon's. Only Kaner knows that they are together. It just makes it easier for everyone not to know. (Family Stakes)


Addison and Kaner were standing outside of locker room.
"So how was your date last night?" Kaner ask.
"It was good, it was just plane and simple. Have you heard anything about Kennedy yet?”
“Nothing yet, I wanted to see her yesterday but I didn’t get back to my place until 9 at night and I knew that visit hours were done.”
"How many points do you think your going to get with the Devils tomorrow?"
"I hope 5." Addison push Kaner's shoulder because she couldn't stop laughing. Kaner high points in one game is 3.
"Dork, I just want you to get a goal at this point."
"You got to have faith in my little one. Also I did score 5 goals in four games, two in one thanks to your little talk to me." He pinch my nose.
"Addison."
"Did you say my name?"
"Nope." Addison turn around again and she was in total shock. Her mom was there and she couldn't take the smile of her face.
"MOM!" Addison scream making Kaner jump a little.
"When did you get down here?"
"Last night. I wanted to make this as a suprise. When your boss Stan told me all about how amaing you are and that they were doing this. I had to come down and see you. Also I wanted to see what is job really is." Addison's mom peak behind Addison's shoulder.
"Now who's that?" She whisper to Addison's ear.
"Kaner come here." Kaner walk up to Addison with that famous smile of his.
"Mom this is Patrick but we call him Kaner since there are two Patrick. Mom do you remember the Sharp's?"
"Yeah."
"Well Patrick Sharp plays for the Blackhawks."
"That's cool." When Kaner felt to get his stakes on. We were walking behind him.
"Are you and Kaner together?" She ask under her breath.
"No, we are just close friends. Kaner is dating Kennedy right now."
"Oh I didn't know that Kennedy was living in Chicago."
"Yeah Kennedy didn't like being by herself back home so she ask her boss to transferred her to her in Chicago." When they got inside the dressing room, Addison spotted Sharpie talking to Morrow.
“Sharpie come here.” When Sharpie heard Addison’s voice, he walk over to the group.
"Mom this is Patrick Sharp." They both shook hands.
"It's great to met you. My parents are coming down so this could be a small Thunder Bay reunion." When Addison was looking at her mom. There was something off about her when Patrick said that. But Addison brush it off and went to see where Jon was at. When Addison came out of the dressing room, Jon was walking down the hall. There was no one anywhere. Addison ran up to him and just without that second Jon look up and catch Addison in his arms.
"I have someone you need to met." Addison grab his hand and walk back in the dressing room.
"Mom this is Jon he's the capitan of the Blackhawks."
"It's great to met you." When they got on to the ice they were listening to Christmas music while they were staking. Addison was pretty good but still wasn't sure if she could skate by herself. Jon saw in the corner of his eye seeing Addison's mom and Shapire's dad talking. They look like they are having a heated conversation. Andrew came over and place his hand on Addison's waist and help her stake a little better.
"Shaw I think I got this." She giggled.
"No you don't, here let me help." He said right by her ear. Jon's ears were getting red of what Shaw was doing.
"I got this Shaw, I know how to stake better than you." Jon came in front of Addison and Shaw. Shaw didn't think twice, he let go and stake over to his girlfriend who was talking to Bollig.
"Thanks." Her mom stakes over to join with us.
"Addison did you ever got a note from me a couple of months ago?"
"Shit, shit, shit, shit!" Jon was screaming in his head.
"No, I didn't. What's the note about?"
"I forgot what I wrote on the note so don't worry about it then.” Kaner was playing with some of the kids and then all of a sudden the music change into “The Otherside” By Jason Derulo. This is Kennedy’s favorite song to dance to. Kaner’s heart stop for a second. Addison staked over to him.
“Kaner look at the tunnel.” Addison pointed at the tunnel. In a major slow mo, Kaner turn around and he hold his breath. Kennedy was walking down the tunnel. Kaner look like he was about to pass out. He staked quickly over to the tunnel and gave her a big hug.Their lips latch together and Kaner didn’t want to let go. Everyone was clapping and cheering for them.
“How? Um….” Kaner couldn’t find the words he was looking for.
“I’m here now, you don’t have to ask any questions. I love you Patrick.”
“I love you to.” During the rest of the family stakes, Kaner couldn’t let go of Kennedy. They both met each of their parents. Addison met John’s dad and brother David.
“So this is the girl you won’t stop talking about since the beginning of the season.” David has the same smile as Jon. Jon push him because he said it a little to loud. Addison met Kaner’s sisters and they all fell inlove with Kennedy. Kaner’s parents fell in love to with Kennedy.
In the morning Addison went over to Jon’s place so they can watch the BBC America Sherlock before they both go to morning stakes. When Addison walked into Jon’s place, he was almost done putting the christmas tree up. With the light of the window Addison had to take a photo of this.
“Hey are you ready to watch this?” Addison pointed at the TV where it just says Sherlock on it. Jon walk up to Addison and gave her a kiss.
“Now I am.” While they were watching Sherlock, they were cuddling. After the great game against the Devils now we have their Christmas break.
“So what are we going to do during the Christmas break?” Jon was asking her while playing with her hair.
“I don’t know, I don’t go back home since it’s only mom and I. She also is bad at giving gift to me when I am the most easy person to shop for. That the fact I get the most bad luck on Christmas day ever.”
“So your saying that you going to spend Christmas by your self in Chicago, because I heard that Kennedy is going to spent Christmas with Kaner.”
“Yep that is what I am saying. I was thinking of having a Lord Of The Rings marathon.” Jon put all his attention on Addison now, not the show that he has been waiting for a long time.
“How about you come with me then?”
“I don’t know, I don’t want anyone to take our photos when we are going back to your hometown. Your like the mayor of the city you know that.” Jon laugh at that.
“Then I won’t go then. I will tell mom that I am going to Thunder Bay with your family but we will stay here then.”
“No I don’t want you to do that.”
“I need to get away from my family right now. I think that this is a perfect timing for me to get away from hockey and help me get a way to get the puck behind the net.”
“That’s my man."
