3 days later
Addison was still sleeping when Jon was cooking some breakfast. Addison come home late from a bad lost against Nashville. When he was cooking breakfast he got a text from Kaner.
K:“Have you down it yet?”
“You would hear it from Kennedy. Beside I want to talk to Sharpie and I was thinking it if we play against the Kings in LA.” Then Jon could hear both Addison’s feet and Juliette’s feet coming into the kitchen.
“Morning.” Jon kissed Addison on the cheek.
“The smell of bacon woke me up.” Addison smile looking at the bacon.
“When did you come to bed?”
“I think around 4 because it was a long flight from Nashville to hear. With the reporters wanted their answers from all of the players that played last night. That took the longest.” Jon nodded his head. He needed to grab his macbook to check on some emails. When he came back into the kitchen, he sees that Addison was cooking the pancakes, and dancing a little bit to a Hunter Hayes song. So Jon sets his chin on top of Addison’s head.
“Jon what are you doing?”
“Nothing, just watching you cook that’s all.” Addison grab the last pancake off the stove and place it on Jon’s plate.
“Do we still have any OJ?” Jon asks Addison.
“I don’t know let me check.” When Addison’s hand touch the refrigerator. Then her phone was ringing. It was Kennedy calling her.
“I’ll be right back.”
“Hey Kennedy, what’s up?”
“Kaner and I wanted to know what are you guys going to do tonight?”
“I have no clue since I just woke up.”
“Ok and I guess you haven’t talked to Stan yet?”
“No why?”
“Well both Kaner and Jon’s contracts are coming to an end this year. I though if Stan talk to you about their contract.”
“Do you really think that he’s going to ask me about my boyfriend’s contract? Beside it’s no brannier that he and Kaner are going to be Blackhawks for the rest of their hockey career.”
“That’s true and I’m just asking as being a friend not my reporter side. So club tonight then?”
“Sure I think Jon would be fine with that. Thanks Kennedy.” When Addison came back in. She went back to the refrigerator to grab the OJ. She handed Jon a bass of OJ.
“Thanks Babe.”
“Kennedy wanted to know if we want to go clubbing tonight. Are you up by that?”
“Sure."

That night Jon and Addison headed over to Kaner’s place. Jon couldn’t stop looking at Addison’s outfit.
“Jon I would love to live another day so please eyes on the road. You will see me dancing a lot tonight.” When they got together they head over to one of their favorite clubs. Addison and Kennedy were dancing around having a great time. While Jon and Patrick were keeping an eye on them like hawks.
“When are you going to ask Sharpie?”
“When we get to St.Louis and when Addison is very busy with Stan.” Then there was a man standing next to Jon trying to get a hold of the bartender.
“I would like a miller and that girl in a cream dress what ever she was having.” The man was pointing right at Addison. Jon stood up from his chair, Jon was a little taller than the man.”
“That’s my girlfriend that you are pointing at and I don’t like that at all.”
“Well then Captain then why are you doing over here than over there with that fine piece of ass out there.” This man was completely drunk and Jon wanted to knock his teeth out. Then he remember that night when he beat the shit out of Dylan. Jon didn’t say anything but tried to used his eyes for words. The man scoffed at him and grab both drinks and headed back to the dance floor.
“Jon you need to do something now.” Patrick got out of his chair and went over to Jon.
“Hold on let’s see how Addison dose.” As both boys watch the drunk man walked over to Addison and Kennedy. They could see the look on Addison’s face that he was crept out from him. She turn around and didn’t listen to the man. He tap on her shoulder and when she turn around, she pushed him. Got to his face and telling him to back off.
“Or what sweetie.”
“My strong, sexy boyfriend will come over and bet the shit out of you.”
“Jonathan Toews? No I don’t think so and if he wants a fight then I’m all his.” She pushed him again and the girls walked over to the boys. They clap for Addison for what she has done.
“You rock sweetheart.”
“Thanks babe. Now lets go that was a buzzkill."

Addison and Kennedy though they fell asleep during the first game because the game went into 3 OT. When they heard the horn going off they both woke up to see who finally got the game to stop. Their heart drop when it was the Blues that finish the game. Addison and Kennedy looked at each other of how their boys are going to do after this oat coming back from being on the IR for a couple of weeks. When Addison got into their room. Jon was sitting on the edge of the bed still wearing his suite.
“Jon you know you can get them again in the next game.”
“I know but I wanted to win this game from me being out that long. I mean come on Kaner got a goal and he was fucking out longer than me.”
“Yes Jon we know but this is the playoffs and it’s against the fucking Blues. They aren’t going to get off your back because you just got off the IR. Beside I don’t know which game was longer this one or last year against the Bruins.” They both laugh at that because Addison was in New York with Kennedy and Dylan at a bar.
“Come on we have tomorrow off but we all need sleep from what just happen.”

Game 4
They were back in Chicago under 1 game and everyone on the team wasn’t worried about this. Addison hasn’t even played her music. Jon still hasn’t talked to Sharpie about Addison yet because he wants to focus on getting the first win against the Blues. He was just happy that Addison wasn’t asking him a lot of questions about his health or anything that has to do with the Blues. Everyone in the team knew that they were going to win this game no matter what. Kennedy could feel it and wore her jersey that Kaner got her on their first date. Addison didn’t want to wear it because she doesn’t want anyone to know that they are dating. Not just yet because of the playoffs and ever camera is turn to him. When Kaner got the second goal of the game Kennedy was jumping up and down. Dancing to Chelsea Dagger. Knowing that it’s the right choose to wear the jersey tonight. Then Kennedy looked at Addison and she didn’t move out of her seat when Kaner scored the goal.
“Why aren’t you celebrating?”
“The game isn’t over and this is the playoffs, anything could happen.” Addison was right and the Blackhawks lost 4-3 in overtime again. The girls were waiting outside of the locker room. They were so tried that they told Paul that they were going home and will see the boys there. When they got out to the parking lot and to there cars. There were some fans looming around the parking lot. A man was wearing a Bickell jersey and was holding a beer. When he saw Kennedy he came up to her and threw her beer at her.
“What the fuck was that for?” Addison shield Kennedy from the man.
“That’s what you get for boyfriend and making the team look bad.” He was drunk and Addison couldn’t believe that he knew who Kaner’s girlfriend is.
“Sir you need to leave or I am calling the police.” He flick his hand and walked away. When Addison turn around to see how Kennedy was doing. She was about to cry and then they could hear Kaner in the distance of the parking lot running to them. When Kennedy spotted Kaner she broke down right there and then. Kaner wrapped his arms around Kennedy to comfort her.
“Who the fuck did this to you?”
“A drunk man threw a beer at here and walked away.” Jon walked up and look to see what’s going on.
“Kennedy are you ready to go home?” Kennedy was ready to get the beer smell off her now.”
“Well see you tomorrow at the airport.” Kaner took Kennedy to his car.
“Wow that was scary.”
“Yeah that was."

Notes

I can't believe that the season is now over. Both teams did amazing and the Blackhawks won't go back to the final. I'm still proud of the Blackhawks to make it to the 3 round and game 7.
