Pat's an idiot
"Pat! Pat you need to wake up it's 2." Jon was telling Pat to wake up.
"Don't make me grab the bucket of cold water again."
"I'm up asshole." Pat slowly open his eyes and see that Jon was looking at him. Jon had the bucket of cold water in his hands. Pat jump out of the couch.
"See I'm up." Pat put his hands in the air. Then someone was knocking on the door. Jon pour the water into the sink, Pat sat down on the couch. When Jon open the door it was Addison.(Comfy)
"Hey Addison." Jon smiled. She walk in and she was caring her ipad and notebooks.
"I though that since we had today off I though that maybe we can...." When she spotted Pat on the couch. She stop and look at Jon.
"I didn't know that Pat was here."
"I crash here last night." Pat got up from the couch and walk into the bathroom. When the door was shut. Jon knew that this was a prefect time for them to talk.
"About last night, I'm so sorry for what I did. When I got home I was thinking that I don't want you to lose your job because of me."
"It's ok Jon, I'm just pissed at Pat at the moment."
"Why are you pissed about me?" Pat came back and sat on the kitchen island.
"You were to drunk to remember last night."
"What did I do?"
"Well for start you made Kennedy think that your treating her like shit. Ignoring all of her texts and she told you last night that she has feelings for you. I don't know if she still does from what happen last night. Then let's put the cherry on top when you told me that I should go back into the bar and put my tongue down in Jon's throat." Jon spit some of the water out of his mouth when he heard the last part. Addison laugh inside.
"Also that you called me Addy. I can't stand when people call me that. When I walk away you said, I'm Patrick fucking Kane. You don't walk away from me!" Addison trying to copy Pat's voice. Pat's face was red of how embarrassed he was about what happen last night. Then Addison grab a pice a paper and wrote something down.
"Now I am not going to writing down Kennedy's address you so can get your sorry ass, to apologize to her. She doesn't live that from from here." Addison slide the note to Pat. When Pat grab his shoes and the note, he left.

"Jon, I don't think so. I don't want people to think that I am going to quit my job to be your girlfriend. I love my job. What would Stan say about it if he finds out. Will I lose my job for doing that?" Jon grab her shoulders and clam her down.
"Let's just take it one day at a time and see how it gels. How about tonight me and you, bring your ipad and stuff. We can pretend that we are on a conference dinner." Jon wink at her. They still need to look more video and that's a great idea. Take one day at a time.

"7:30." Jon was going down to her lips when he's phone was ringing. He pulled it out and it was Kaner.

"I need some help, Kennedy is throwing things at me and I don't know how to stop her. Kennedy you almost threw a shoes at my face. Please get down here now!" Once off the phone, Jon laugh and they both headed Kennedy's place.
When they got to Kennedy's place, just in time. Kaner ran out of the house and into the car.
"Just go I will get my car later." Then Jon pulled in the drive way of Kennedy's.
"What the fuck man?! We need to go!"
"Not till I know what's going on." Addison step out of the car and into Kennedy's house.
"Kennedy? It's Addison so don't throw things at me." She walk around to the kitchen where Kennedy was holding a frying pan. The place was some what trash from all of the stuff that Kennedy was throwing at Pat.
"You have a bad aim."
"Why did you give asshole my address?!"
"I though that maybe you two need to talk. When I told him about what happen last night, he felt embarrassed for what he did."
"He said those same words, I though he was lying the whole time."
"Please let him come back in and have a adult conversation about this. That means you need to put the pan down and walk away." After what Kennedy listen to Addison she did. Addison called Jon to tell him that the both of them can come inside. Addison and Kennedy were waiting in the kitchen for the boys.
"Pat man what did you say to her to make her throw things at you." Jon laugh.
"Kennedy, just letting you know that I am going on a date with Jon just don't tell anyone about this." Kennedy had a huge smile on her face when she heard the news. When the boys reach to the kitchen Kennedy got up and walk over to where Pat was standing.
"I'm sorry for everything that happen. Please will you forgive me?"
"If you can go on a double date with Jon and Addison." Addison's heart drop when Pat said that.
"Jon told me in the car." Pat nudge Jon's shoulder.
"Yeah that would be great." Kennedy smiled.
When Addison and Jon were heading back to their place. Addison was confused that about this.
"Jon, I though that he are going to take it one day at a time."

"I think that going on a double date with Kennedy and Pat doesn't help."

"What I have to bring this stuff so then if someone takes a picture of us, I can prove that Jon, Pat and I were working that night. Jon said that he has everything taken care for tonight."
"You are just weird and that's why we are friends." Kennedy gave her a hug. Then the door knock.
"Ready?" Kennedy smiled. On the road Addison see's in the corner of her eye that Pat couldn't take his eyes off of Kennedy's chest. This made her roll her eyes.
"By the way Addison you look great tonight." Jon smiled.
"Thanks, you to." When we got into the restaurant Addison was looking of who's here and if they could spot them. Jon grab her arm and pulled her away from her spot. They headed to a booth that was far away from everyone was at.
"See I told you that I got everything taken care." Jon whisper in Addison's ear. That whole time Addison didn't take out her ipad to talk about work. They were having a great time. A lot of wine was in there system.
"When's the next game?" Kennedy ask.
"Washington."
"I know that Addison hates Ovie."

"More than you." Addison smiled. They all laugh at Pat because he was pouting when Addison said that. Addison knew that Pat is trying to change his image for what happen to him a couple of years ago. Well one baby step at a time. Addison is hoping that Kennedy will help him to get him in a better line. During the whole night, they were talking about how Kennedy and Addison met.
"We have know each other since we were two years old. I live three streets away from Sharpie." Kennedy smiled.
"Did Addison got you into hockey?"
"At frist I didn't want anything to do with hockey, but when I watch one game I was hook."
"What game would that be?"
"When you guys won the first cup." Kennedy nudge Kane.
"That's when I knew that I would love hockey. The whole game Addison wouldn't stop yelling at the TV and jumping up and down when you got the winning goal Kaner." Addison was now blushing the whole time when Kennedy was talking about her.
"This is how much I know her. Addison doesn't like to be the center of attention because now she is blushing." Addison was trying to hide it but it didn't work.
"I like hockey to be the center of attention because it get's me to talk about it." In that moment Jon knew that she was the one for him. There a over a million girls in Chicago but this only one that ke knows. She loves one thing that he love more than life it's self, hockey. Jon wanted to kiss her again like he did that night but he didn't want to make her uncomfortable about the whole thing.
After dinner they went to back to Jon's and Addison's apartment to get a good night sleep for tomorrow's game. After hugs and kiss on the check. Jon and Pat went back to Jon's place.
"You should have kiss her right then when Kennedy told you about how much Addison loves hockey." Pat sat on the couch.
"You can leave beside I didn't want you and Kennedy to watch me kiss her. Remeber she doesn't like the attention. I'm trying to be a great boyfriend."
"Night Tazer." Pat rolled his eye and went home.

This is definitely one of my favorite stories I've read, I think I would check back every couple days to see if there was a new chapter. You never disappointed! I can't wait for Kaner and Kennedy's story!!!!! In the mean time does anyone know any good Blackhawks/Stars fanfics I could read while waiting for the spinoff??
