Coming back from Calgary they had two days off. Which for Addison was just a normal day of work. She walk out of her apartment. She's thinking about the next game and they are going to play the St.Louis Blues.
"Do you know that we have two days off?" She turn around and she sees Jon leaning against his door frame.
"For you yes but for me who's going to the UC to pick up videos from the lost that we had from Calgary, yes. Then I have to be in a meeting with Stan." She spun back and walked to the elevator. When she got to her car it went dead on her. Addison was so pissed about her car dead she kicked the tired and the hub cab feel off. She jumped a little when she heard someone laughing. Addison looked up and see that Jon was walking to her with his work out gear on.
"It's not funny! I had this car for a long time and it save my life while I was New York. But I do need a new car." She look like her watch. Crap she's going to be late.
"Are you headed to the UC?" She ask.
"Yep I though a little work out will help. So that means you need a ride?"
"That's right Sherlock." When they jump into Jon's car it was a quiet ride. Things are back to normal for them. It's just they have been together for a long time that they both have nothing to say to start something.
When Addison went up to Stan's off she quickly gave Jon a kiss on the lips and took off.
"Have fun working out." She smiled. When she reach Stan's door, Rocky was already there.
"Hello there Addison." Rocky gave her a hug.
"Sorry if I'm late. My car died on me and Jon gave me a ride."
"Jon's here? I though we told them that they have today off?" Stan look puzzled.
"I told him that but he said that a little work out might help them improve the team."
"Good for him, sorry about your car and no your not late. Rocky and I were talking about doing this Mom's trip soon." If you don't know but this is when they bring all of the mom's of the players with them and show them what they do on the away games. They do this for the fathers to.
"We have all of the players mom agree to come with us. All we need to do is pick what games to bring them."
"Well maybe have it when we go to Florida. They might want to be in a sunny place since right now we are heading into fall and cold weather is here." Addison was looking at her calendar where all the games are posted.
"We play Florida and Tampa Bay. It's coming up in two weeks."
"Ok that settles then the moms are coming in two weeks." It took Addison a second to remember something. In two weeks she's going to me Jon's mom. Has Jon told her about me?
When Addison was at her front door there was a sticky note. It was from Jon.
"Come over."
Addison was really tired and wasn't in the mood to hang out. All she wanted to do is sleep in her bed which at this point she forgot what her bed feels like. She rip the sticky note off the door and went inside. Place her purse on the kitchen counter when she heard something playing on her TV. There were feet hanging out of the couch. They weren't Jon's or Kennedy's. She came closer to the couch and a sigh of relife. It was Patrick, he fell asleep while watching The Hobbit. She push Kaner's feet off the couch and jolted him awake.
"Kaner what are you doing here and how did you get in?"
"I'm here so you won't flake out on Jon and Kennedy gave me her spare key." She shouldn't have given Kennedy her extra key.
"Beside Kennedy told me that you have The Hobbit movie and I really want to see it."
"Well half of it since I just found you sleeping on my couch." She laugh a little.
"Tell Jon that I wish I could come over but I really need to sleep so that means you need to get out of here." Kaner nodded his head, gave her a hug and left.
John was sitting at the table waiting for Addison to get home. When he heard the door open he jump a little but when he found out it was Kaner he was confused.
"Addison's home but she's to tired to come over." Jon nodded his head and Kaner left to go home. Jon was going to tell her about the letter tonight but it seems to late. In the morning Jon could hear some one knocking on his front door. When he open the door it was Addison.
"Sorry I couldn't come over last night. I was so tried from work and now I need to find a new car. Do you want to come with me to get a new car?" The more time he spends with her is better than staying another minute in this place.
"Sure." While in the car, Addison was looking at her phone to see any cars that she's likes.
"What car were you thinking?"
"I don't know yet since I have money I can spend I was thinking something nice. Maybe a motorcycle I always wanted one when I was a kid." John laugh.
"What's so funny?"
"I can see you on a motorcycle and then you falling to the sides because you don't have that much legs to steady yourself. But I have somewhere that you will like." When they reach to a car dealership Addison was lost in words. Classy cars where everywhere and Addison's mouth was hanging there amazed from all of the cars where there.
"They need to be in a museum, they are all beautiful." When they got go of Jon's car, someone was walking to them.
"Jon, I didn't expect you to come back this soon." Addison look at Jon.
"I bought my dad a car for his birthday during the off season. No I'm buying a car for myself, I'm buying a car for my girlfriend." Addison grabs his arm and pulled him away.
"What are you doing? I said that I was going to buy me a car. You don't have to buy me a car beside these look way out of my price range."
"That's why I am going to buy you a car it's no big deal." They walk back to the guy.
"Chris this is Addison my girlfriend."
"Please to met you." They were looking around the lot and Addison was thinking of the cheapest car they have.
"Addison I think I can see you driving this car."Jon pointed out an old fashion mimi cooper. It was beautiful and Jon was right she can see herself in this car. The look on Addison face said it all.
"We will take this one." We went inside and I see that they had a room full of motorcycles to.
"I'll be right back." Addison walk over to where the bikes where at. While Jon was filing out the paper work Addison fell inlove with one of the bike. When she look at the price she was happy to see it in her price range. When Jon was on a phone call, Addison pulled Chris to the side and told him that she was going to by the bike without Jon knowing. If Jon knew about this he would have bought this to. Now in her new brand car they went back to the apartment to make something for lunch. They went into Jon's apartment and Addison was cooking already.
"So the Blues? This is going to be a tuff game for you guys."
"Yep, I love hockey but I really hate the Blues. I'm tired of getting new teeth at the end of the game." Addison was looking around for something and Jon was keeping an close eye of her not to open the wrong one and see the letter. Her hand was on the drawer.
"What's are you looking for?" Jon jump out of his seat and grab her hand.
"Oh the cutting board." John pointed behind the sink.
"There it is, man I am blind sometimes." She was cutting the veggies and Jon couldn't stop watching her.
"You can chop really fast, hope I don't have to take you to the ER if you cut for finger."
"You don't have to worry. Oh did you hear that the mom's trip is coming in two weeks."
"No I didn't know. What games are they coming to?"
"Panters and Lightings."
"So that means your going to me my mom. Are you ok with that?"
"I think so."
"Trust me, if she sees me happy and inlove then she's happy." He lean over the counter and kiss her forehead. Addison's phone was ringing.
"Jon can you get that?" Addison ask.
"Hello?"
"Hey Jon this is Chris I am here to drop off something for Addison." Jon was confused about something.
"Who's that?"Addison ask.
"It's Chris." Addison jump a little and left Jon's place.
"Were coming down right now." When they got to the parking lot, Jon sees Addison's Bike.
"What's this?" Jon was shock about the bike.
"Oh I got it when you were on the phone. I saw this bike and I had to get it." The look on Jon's face was turn into Captain Serious mode.
"Thanks Chris for bring it down." She shook Chris hand and left. She went over to the bike and was looking into the bike more closely.
"Are you kidding me right now Addison?"
"What?"
"A bike now when winter is coming and you thought it was a good idea to buy yourself a bike?"
"Jon you bought me a mimi cooper. I wonder how that's going to mange in the snow. I love my new car and I told you that I was thinking of buying a bike." She turn on the bike and went for a test drive.
"Call me when your done being an ass about this." Addison took off without letting Jon say a word.
Addison was so mad a Jon for acting like that. She can spend her money on what ever she wants or needs. When she reach to Kennedy's house she see that Kaner is there to. She pulled on to the drive way she see Kennedy and Kaner coming out of her house.
"Addison is that you?" Kennedy ask.
"Yep, you like?"
"I love it." Kaner went over to check out the bike.
"Well at lest someone other than me loves the bike."
"What are you talking about?"
"Jon hates the bike."
"How come?"
"His lame ass excuse was that it's not a good idea to buy a bike when winter is coming."
"Well he has a point there." Kennedy cross her arms.
"Not you to. I though you will be on my side on this and your my best friend. Never mind, Kaner I will see you tomorrow." Addison turn on the bike and headed to one place that she won't get criticize for what she bought, the united center. Maybe she can get some work done. They are going to play the Blues. She stay at the UC for the rest of the day. Hours of watching films she was now ready to go home. Walking to her apartment she see that Jon was sitting next to her door and asleep. She sneaks into her apartment and to be more of an ass. She slams to front door, locks it and went to bed.
Jon jump when he heard the door slam. He rub his sleepy eyes, got up and was thinking if he should knock on her door or go home and sleep for the big game tomorrow.

This is definitely one of my favorite stories I've read, I think I would check back every couple days to see if there was a new chapter. You never disappointed! I can't wait for Kaner and Kennedy's story!!!!! In the mean time does anyone know any good Blackhawks/Stars fanfics I could read while waiting for the spinoff??
