Memories - Jordan Staal drabble

Why.

Danielle had her favorite black dress on. Her dress was tight at the top showing off her perfect curves. The bottom was loose and short that came just short of her knees. The back of her dress showed the skin of her back. She had semi high heels on which made her legs look long and gorgeous. She carried her pink bag on her arm into the café.
“Danielle there you are!” A familiar handsome man said. He stood up in his black dress pants and light blue button up shirt. He had a beard that matched his blonde hair. His hair was grown out and pushed back away from his eyes.
Danielle gave the man a short hug. His lips curved into his infamous smirk. She pulled the black chair away from the table and smoothed out her dress as she sat. The man fixed his collar and sat in the chair across from her.
“Jordan, how have you been?” Danielle’s smooth voice was so familiar and so missed by this man. They hadn’t seen each other since the end of September when he left for his big NHL career.
“I’ve been okay.” Jordan stared at his cup of coffee that was sat on the table. He looked up and saw her beautiful deep green eyes, a beautiful contrast to her sun kissed skin.
He remembered the first week of summer, and off season. They drove to Myrtle Beach. While Jordan packed the car full of their luggage she put her feet on the dashboard. She turned the radio on and closed her eyes and listened to the song. Her toned tanned legs were shown. He walked around the back of the car after he finished packing the car. He opened her door to the jeep and pulled her legs off the dash and wrapped her legs around his waist. Her eyes were a beautiful shade of green that day. Her lips were glossed with a beautiful pink color.
He leaned in slowly and kissed her, pushing her hair back away from her face. His hand lightly caressed her soft cheek. He could taste the mint of the gum that was recently in her mouth. She put her hand on his shoulder and her other hand on his chest. He pulled her legs so she was closer to him. Finally they parted and her dimples were shown as she smiled. She giggled and put her head on his chest like she always did when she kissed him. She would never admit it but he knew it was from embarrassment because she didn’t know what else to do after he kissed her. He wrapped his tough muscular arms around her.
“Jordan are you alright?” Danielle sat forward looking into his eyes.
Jordan shook his head, “Yeah I-I am.” Jordan stuttered. “Uh I will be right back, just need to use the restroom.”
Danielle frowned remembering one of the many nights that Jordan had off from hockey. Jordan was watching a baseball game on the couch. She had his jersey that was man sizes too big for her. She took his hockey stick that he had left in the kitchen and stood in front of the TV. She had a huge toothy smile on her face, dimples and all. She held the stick like he saw him do it countless times.
“Drop the puck.” She challenged him. She put the blade of the stick down on the wooden floor. She was bent over like the players did. Jordan laughed and got u from the couch. She stood up and looked at him with a grin. He smirked and lifted her chin with his fingers. His lips were soft and moved in sync with hers.
“Jump.” He said roughly. She jumped up and he caught her with his hands on her thighs. With ease he carried her that way up the stairs and into the bedroom. He laid her down on the softness of the bed. His lips sloppily travelled down to her jaw and then to her neck. His hot breathe created bumps on her skin.
“Danielle…” Jordan was standing next to her chair. Danielle stood up and wrapped her tiny arms around his muscular abdomen. He wrapped his arms around her and buried his face in her hair. They stood in each other’s hugs for a moment before Danielle finally pulled away.
“Why?” Was all Danielle could manage to get out.
