Sean's POV:

Claude Giroux(Giroux): "haha you so have her wrapped around your finger!"

Zac Rinaldo(Zac): "Don't mess with her heart! She seems very nice!"

Matt Read(Reader): "Oh how'd you figure that one out? In between her freaking out about Sean cutting her off?"

Zac: "her hair is in pigtail braids, how mean could she be?"

Giroux: "have you seen mean girls? I'm pretty sure she wore pigtails once and she was not nice"

Sean Couturier(Coots): "Did you...? Did you just reference mean girls?"

Reader: "I think he did, is our captain a mean girls fan"

Giroux fake grabs a non-existent breast and says

Giroux: "there's a 33% chance it's already raining"

The whole team cracks up at this

Scott hartnell(Hartsy): "man, what is wrong with you?"

Max Talbot(Talbot): "clearly a lot more than we think"

I couldn't help but laugh at all of this, This is why I love playing for Philly, the boys are great!
I looked back in the direction that the pigtail girl went. She had a fire for the tiny girl she is. I spotted her hot pink friend, and looked for her in the group. She was sitting by the fire out sipping on a mug of something, she smiled the whole time I watched her. I honestly wanted to get to know her, hopefully my week I was here wasn't too busy so I could talk to her again. I felt a nudge on my side and looked to see Wayne nodding at Claude who was looking at me

Coots: "what was that boss?"

Giroux: "stop calling me boss. You know I hate that, we were talking about the game next week, do you want to stay and play?"

Coots: "oh yeah! Of course! I'm in!"

Giroux: "awesome, we've got everyone!"

Luke Schenn(Luke): "are we gonna play other teams or split up?"

Giroux: "it's really for charity so I think we'd split up to other teams, work with the local teams and help them"

We all nodded at this, it should be fun. We continued with normal conversations about nothing when I felt a thud at the end of the table. We all leaned in to see what it was. Sidney Crosby had slammed his snow boots on the table.

Sidney Crosby(Sid): "well look who the cat dragged in. The Philadelphia flyers. Are just as bad as skiing as you are at playing hockey?"

Giroux: "Really? This is a charity event, can't you let a grudge go for a week? We can hate each other on the ice, just not in front of the charity people "

Sid: "sorry, I guess I could but I'd rather not, just stay out of my way, I don't want you to get hurt by my mad skills on the hills"

Luke: "the bunny hills?"

Sidney shot him a glare. Malkin came up and pulled him away before something happened. He shouted something but we couldn't hear what it was.. We all just kinda stared at him, and left our table. We made our way to the restaurant at the bottom of the hill. Brayden and Luke were complaining about how hungry they were.. Like always. Brayden, Luke, Mason, Vinnie and I made our way into the "Mountainside Cafe". We sat down at an outside table near the Fire Pit. We did the phone check game, when we all put our phones in a pile and whoever looked at theirs first has to pay for the check, Vinny almost always loses. A waitress came up and immediately started flirting with Vinny, you'd honestly be surprised how often this happens. We finally got our order out and started talking about what's going on this week.

Vinny: "When do you guys have your signings?"

Steve Mason(Mason): "Same time as you, ya nit, we go as a team"

Vinny: "Oh, right"

Brayden: "Mase? What's a nit?"

Mason: "um, a nit is a.. Well it's a nit.. I kinda made the word up. It's just kinda like an idiot, but nicer because it's a nit"

Luke: "So instead of saying idiot, you say nit?"

Mason: "well, yeah! pretty much!"

The waitress came back with our orders and we dug in.

Coots: "well now that we know what a nit is, you all are nits"

Mason threw a fry at me

Mason: "that's my word, make up your word!"

Coots: "how about.. Instead of idiot I call people mason now?"

Brayden and Luke: "hahahah nice man"

Mason: "how about I call jack asses couturier now?"

Coots: "hahaha alright man, sorry I will not call idiots mason"

We ate in silence for a minute until all of our phones went off, it was Brayden who picked his up, he read the message out loud

Brayden: "it's from Claude, we have to get back to the cabins, were gonna have a small practice with a few teams competing in the games"

Coots: "okay, we'll head over after you pay"

Brayden: "what?! No!"

Luke: “What?! Yes! You looked at your phone first so pay up little bro!”

Brayden mumbled how he hates all of us under his breath as he pulled out his wallet.

-Later at the frozen pond rink-

Giroux: Alright boys! That's enough for today! We've got to get off the ice for the next team, how about we meet up tomorrow for another practice? I'll check the times for tomorrow and let you know."

Everyone started to leave when Claude called me over to help gather the pucks from the nets. We just about finished when about 10 girls made their way onto the ice. They dropped their pucks on the opposite end of the ice and started shooting on the empty net. I watched the practice for a minute or so when I realized that the pigtail girl was playing. It was mesmerizing watching her skate around the net and shoot at the goalie who just got into net. She scored every time. I need to find out her name. I looked over to find Claude and found him making his way to the other side of the advice, I'm guessing to see if they need any help with anything. I grabbed the last puck and skated over.

Giroux: "Hi girls! I'm Claude Giroux, captain of the Philadelphia Flyers and this is Sean Couturier, he's a center for the Flyers"

I waved to the girls and gave them a smile, I saw pigtail girl smirk when she saw my toothless smile.

Giroux: We were wondering if you wanted some help with practice sometime,we could get some of our boys to help coach you girls, if you want. You look like a solid team but practice with others always helps."

The goalie skated forward and pulled her helmet up to reveal a porcelain skinned girl with blue hair.

Goalie: "Hi! I'm Peyton! The goalie, clearly! And your help would be much appreciated! If that's okay with our captains!"

Pigtail girl and a brunette girl skated forward.

Brunette: "The team would love your help! When can you start?'

Giroux: "Well do you have a practice time set up for tomorrow?"

Brunette: "Yeah, at 6:00 AM"

Giroux: "Awesome! We will meet you here to help out...?"

Brunette: "OH! My name! Sorry hahah! I'm Callie, co-captain number 1, and my trusted co-captain number 2 over here is Jess"

Jess;"Hi, thank you so much for helping with this, I can't wait to see you all tomorrow morning!"

Jess, a beautiful name for a beautiful girl.

Coots; "Our pleasure, see you tomorrow!"

Claude and I grabbed our pucks and left the girls to finish their practice. We went to the locker rooms where the boys were still getting changed.Claude broke the news that they all had an earlier morning tomorrow. Of course we go the fair share of groans, but I couldn't be more excited about it!

Hi! so just warning you that theres a small confrontation with the Flyers and Sidney Crosby, if they look like assholes, sorry.. As everyone knows they hate each other so i just had to have a small confrontation.. okay? so yeah, thats just the warning!

And okay! I am SOO sorry I took so long to update! I got in a car accident last week and it took a while to deal with that and I really didn't have anytime to update! I'm sorry, I promise it wont happen again! I hope you like the chapter! It's more of a filler chapter but I can promise that next chapter willl have a lot less filler and a lot more story..
