It had been three months since that little accident with Jonathan, which Kaner still thinks is one of the most funniest things on the earth. Since then Jon and I have been on at least 60 dates, all from celebrating after a win or chilling on his coach or him helping me study for a exam. I have been to all of the home games so far this season,And I think Rose is starting to get close to Patrick, they've been hanging out together a lot which is a little weird. Anyway Jon was coming over to pick me up for a date that he had planned and won't tell me anything about it. "Hey Rose, what do you think this dates going to be?" I asked Rose hoping she would know something. "No clue Jon didn't even tell Patrick." she said shrugging her shoulders. I sighed and sat down on my bed still not ready when my phone beeped. I reached for it and saw that it was a text from Jon. It read "Hey babe the I would suggest you wear something you don't mind getting dirty." "Hmm.. that's weird" I said out loud. Rose turned to me confused, "What is it?" "He just texted me to wear something I don't mind getting dirty." I said as I walked over to my closet and looked in it. Rose just looked confused, "what does that mean?", she asked herself. "Well I'll just call it safe and wear my tank top, jeans and boots. Their my normal working clothes anyway and they look good on me." I said grabbing them. "Good plan" Rose said still confused.
Once I got dressed I hurried downstairs to wait for him. I sat near the security desk, due to that really being the only seating area available. "You waiting for Jon?" the security gaurd named Joe asked. "Yeah, he's taking me on some mystery date that he hasn't told anyone about." I said looking at my phone. Joe smiled and my phone buzzed. I answered it with a simple "Hello". "Hey babe I'm outside. You're guna love this." He said and I could tell that he was smiling. I said goodbye to Joe and ran to Jon's car and got in. He kissed me as i sat down and i smiled. "So where you taking me?" I asked as I buckled myself in. "It's still a suprise." He said grinning as he started his car and started to drive.
For a little bit we sat in silence as I was thinking of where we could possibly be going, then we turned onto this old dirt road and I looked at him confused. "Babe where are you taking me?" I asked more seriously. He smiled and said, "Okay I give up I got us a deal so we could go on a overnight horseback riding trip." My eyes lit up like they always do when I walk into the UC, "Really!?" I asked excitedly. He nodded yes with a huge grin on his face.
When we arrived I was so excited. Jon and I got out of the car and this older lady greeted us, "You must be the couple who wanted the overnight trip!" she said happily. "Yup." Jon said. "Well great! I just need you two to fill out some safety contracts and then we can head out." she said handing us both paper and lead us to her office right by the stables.
Once we got all the paperwork done the older ladies who's name was Joyce lead us to the horses. She paired both of us up with a horse that seemed that it would work well with us. I smiled at Jon who was very unstable on his horse which I found very funny. After a while of riding it got really dark so we decided to set up camp. Joyce brought her husband Ben along. Both of them were very nice people. That night when Jon and I got into our tent it was obvious that he was happy that he had taken me on a date like this. I looked over at him and smiled. Then he pulled me close to him and we kissed, which just felt perfect. "I love you." He whispered. I smiled and said it back to him. After awhile I fell asleep in his arms and I felt like the happiest girl in the whole wide world.
