After Jon got out of practice we decided to go to Millennium Park. When we got into his car I was still red from hearing about about Kane and Rose hooking up while I was gone. Jon must have noticed and said, "At least you don't have to hear him bragging in the locker room everyday." I laughed and told him I felt sorry he had to deal with that daily and he laughed in response.
Once we arrived at Millennium Park Jon parked the car and we got out. As we were walking around I was swinging our arms as we walked and held hands, which made Jon laugh. While joking around and laughing something terrible happened, we ran into Jon's ex-girlfriend Lindsey.
"Hey Jon!" Lindsey said in her annoying high pitch voice, which I swear could make a dogs ears bleed. "Hi Lindsey." Jon replied as his face went all serious as if he had just lost the Stanley Cup finals. "OMG! You look really good!" she said as she checked him out then looked at me and continued, "And who's this?" Jon wrapped his arm around me tightly and replied, "This is my girlfriend Amy Johnson." My heart skipped a beat whenever he said the word "girlfriend". She gave me a death glare when he said the g-word and then walked straight up to Jon, touched his arm and told him they should hang out more, then walked away smiling evilly. I felt like I wanted to punch her in the face multiple times. "Babe chill." Jon said to me able to tell that I was very pissed off.
While Jon drove me to my dorm room I was still super pissed. As we walked to my room I was completely silent. "You know I would never hang out with her unless you were with me." Jon said reassuringly. That made me feel a bit better, but not much better. "Thanks Tazer." I said quietly.
Once we got to my room we heard strange noises coming from my room. Jon and I gave each other a questioning look, then we both stuck our ears to the door and listened. After a little bit we heard Rose moan and say, "Oh Patrick!" At that moment we both shot up and were bright red. "Maybe I should stay at your house tonight." I said still bright red. Jon simply nodded his head then we heard Patrick say, "Ride 'em cowgirl!" At that moment Jon and I booked it back to his car laughing.
I got into his car laughing still. "Pat's never going to live this down!" Jon said laughing and starting the car. "Neither is Rose! I should just call her cowgirl now!" I said laughing harder and tearing up a bit from laughing to hard. As Jon drove we couldn't stop laughing at what had happened, well that was true until things went down-hill when we got to his place.
