my alarm at 6. I was tired but excited to meet my new teammates. I walked to the kitchen and there was a plate of food with a note. It read:A breakfast for my champion. Don’t forget to text me when your done. Enjoy ! :D

On the plate there was scrambled eggs, bacon and hash browns. I thought it was so sweet of him to do that. Then I went to grab some ketchup for my eggs and ate. When I was done eating it was 6:20. This gave me 30 minutes to get ready. I changed into an old soccer tournament shirt and sweatpants. I packed another shirt and a pair of shorts to change into when I got there. I put my hair up in a ponytail and put in my pink and blue splattered pre wrap. By the time I was ready to go it was 6:45. I grabbed my jacket and car keys and headed to my car. I got to the campus gym five minutes ahead of schedule. I went to the bathroom to change my shorts then went out to the gym area and started stretching. The girls started showing up and we all started talking. We clicked really fast. The last team I was on that clicked this fast was in 8th grade with my school team. We didn’t do that well but most of them never touched a bal until then. Our talking stopped when coach walked in. We were split into groups and got to work. One group was walking around the track. Another was working on footwork. The last group was using gym equipment. We worked at each station for about forty minutes. When we ended I could barley walk. It took me everything I had to get to my car. It was only 9 o’clock when we finished and my classes didn’t start till 10:15. When I got to the car I texted Tyler like he told me to.
Me: Hey my training session just ended and I texted you like you told me to. :D Oh and thanks for the breakfast it was yummy. But how did you get in my apartment?
Tyler’s Point of View.
I was getting stuff ready fir practice when my phone went off. It was a text from Alex which brought an immediate smile to my face.
Alex: Hey my training session just ended and I texted you like you told me to. :D Oh and thanks for the breakfast it was yummy. But how did you get in my apartment?
I texted her back.
Me: Hey how did it go? I’m proud you remembered to text your boyfriend lol. Thanks I made the breakfast myself. Oh and I may have had Brad help me pick the lock to your apartment. :D
Alexandra’s Point of View
I got Tyler’s text and replied.
Me: I think I’m going to die. I’m in so much pain. Really, you made it yourself? I should have known Brad helped you lol.
Seguin: I’m sure you won’t die and you can’t die on me I need you. Why did you expect Brad had helped me and I didn’t do it myself?
Me: Ok I was being a little overdramatic but it is good to know you need me. Oh and babe I was a Bruins fan before I met you ya know. I have heard stuff about Brad, I got to go back to the apartment to get my stuff for class. Can’t believe it’s my first day as a college student! I don’t text and drive so I will see/talk to you later. Bye have a good practice.
Tyler’s Point of View
I got her text and laughed a little. I then got this idea. She said she was coming back to her apartment so I was going to meet her in the lobby. When I got to the lobby I took a seat and waited. A few minutes later she walked through the door. I watched her trying to wince as she walked. She was really sore. I walked up to her and her face light up. She smile that and her brown eyes sparkled. She said “Hey Tyler shouldn’t you be at practice?”
Me: “ No it doesn’t start till 10.”
Alex: “Oh…”
Me: “Here get on my back.”
Alex: “Why?”
Me: “Because you can barley walk and I can’t stand to see such a beautiful girl in pain. Especially if she is my girlfriend.”
Alex: “That’s sweet of you but I think I got it.”
Me: “You sure?”
Alexandra’s Point of View
I got out of my car and was struggling to make my way to the elevator when I heard a familiar voice say “Hey”. I looked up and an instant smile appeared on my face. I was so happy to see him. I thought he was suppose to be at practice but was informed it didn’t start till 10. He told me to hop on his back, but I declined. I didn’t want him to think I was weak. He asked “you sure?”. I nodded and took a step forward. Then I said “actually I’m going to take up on your offer.” He just smiled and said “that’s what I thought”. We took the elevator and he carried me to my apartment. I opened the door to my apartment but he didn’t put me down. He then said “where to?” I said “the bathroom I need to shower I can smell myself and it is gross.” Tyler started laughing and carried me to the bathroom and put me down. He then said “I’m going to stay here if that’s ok.” I said “yeah it’s fine I will be out soon.” I took a shower and got dressed in to skinny jeans and a sky blue v-neck with a gray scarf. I had enough time to blow dry my hair. I left it down and put a hair band in. I put on a little makeup and was ready to go. I slowly walked to my room to get my school bag. Then went to the living room and Tyler was sitting watching TV. I walked in and he turned and smiled at me.
Tyler’s Point of View
While she took a shower and got ready for school I mad her a glass of chocolate milk. I put it in a red sox cup with a red crazy straw and put the lid on it. It would definitely help her soreness. She didn’t have enough time to ice what hurt but I would make sure she did that later. When I finished that I sat on the couch and waited.
Alexandra’s Point of View
I walked over to him and sat next to him putting my feet on his lap. He then handed me a cup and said “here I made this for you”.
Me: “Is it chocolate milk?”
Tyler: “yes.”
Me: “OMG I love you !!”
The second I said that I blushed. I didn’t mean it to come out like that. I looked down at my feet. Then I felt his hand on my chin raising my head so I would look at him. He then kissed me and said “Love you too Alex.” I never planned on hearing him say that. After that we sat there in a comfortable silence. As I was watching TV I felt his beautiful brown eyes on me. I turned to him and said “what.” He said “nothing just thinking.” “Ok” I said. I turned back and realized the time. It was 9:40 and it was going to take me at least 5 minutes to get down my car. I let out a sigh and said “I got to o Tyler. Talk to you later?’ He said “here get on my back again.” This time I didn’t question it. I just did it. He carried me all the way to my car and we said are goodbyes.
Me: “Thanks Tyler. I’ll talk to you later. You better hurry you are going to be late for practice.”
Tyler: “No problem anything for my baby and I will but first…”
With that he crashed are lips together. I could have stayed there all day doing it but I needed to get to class and he needed to get to practice. I pulled away.
Me: “Ok bye. Text me after practice.”
Tyler: “I will.”
I watched him go back in the building and drove away. I got to campus and found my class without any problems.
Tyler’s Point of View
I was definitely happy to hear that Alex loved me. It was great to spend a few minutes with her today. I was excited to see what was in store for us. I carried her to her car and we said are goodbyes. But before we went are separate ways I kissed her. I didn’t want the kiss to end but we both really had to get going. I told her I would text her after practice and ran to my apartment to get my hockey stuff. I grabbed my stuff and yelled to Brad so we could go.
Alexandra’s Point of View
I got to my class and saw familiar faces. They were my teammates. I took a seat next to Kerry she was a goalie. We didn’t have time to talk before class. But after we all caught up. We were all so sore. You could definitely tell who was on the soccer team. We all compared schedules and had most of the same classes together. Even though they were all sophomores and I was a freshmen. I had taken a lot of my first year courses last year in high school. I told them they should come over to my apartment tonight. We could watch she’s the Man and ice are wounds. I gave them my address and they would be coming at 7.
Tyler’s Point of View
I got to practice and dressed quickly to get a couple minutes on the ice alone. I skated to center ice and looked around the garden. I pictured Alex sitting here sporting a Seguin jersey of course. This brought a smile to my face. After a second of letting it soak in I started stretching my legs. As I did that all the guys started coming to the ice.
Bergy: “I didn’t realize you were here already.”
I laughed I was normally never the first on the ice. It usually was Lucic or Chara. Practice started soon and I was pretty proud of my performance and so was the coaching staff and teammates. I got compliments and pats on the back as I left the ice. Then I hit the showers and got dressed. I was waiting for Marchy so I texted Alex.
Alexandra’s Point of View
I was going to start on an assignment when my phone went off. It was from Tyler.
Seguin: Hey practice just ended. How was your first class as a college student?
I texted him back.
Me: How did practice go? Are you ready for Wednesday? Oh and class wasn’t anything to glamorous I assure you. I’m so ready to go home. My legs ache : (
Seguin: I definitely had one of my better practices today and I think we are ready for Wednesday. Sorry to hear about your legs. When you get home you should ice them. Do you mind if I stop by later?
Me: That’s good to hear I’m excited for Wednesday. Oh believe me I am icing my legs when I get home. I’m having and icing party with my team tonight at the apartment. We are going to watch She’s the Man and eat a bunch of junk food : D I will text you when they leave. I’m not sure I trust you meeting them yet. Lol jk.
Seguin: I’m excited for Wednesday! You are coming right? I won’t let you meet my teammates then :P.
Me: I don’t plan on being anywhere else on Wednesday. I already met Marchy though. :P
Seguin: Touché
Me: You can come if you want but be prepared for them to drool over you. Actually wow now that I hear that it must sound pretty good to you. Lol
Seguin: I deal with girls like that all the time bring it on. Haha. Oh and I’m not interested in other girls I just want you. <3
Me: Consider it brought and ditto lol. <3
Seguin: <3 look I got to go Marchy is waiting for me. But what time do you want me there?
Me: How about 6 the girls are coming around 7?
Seguin: Sounds good. I’ll talk to you later baby. <3

By the time I was done talking to Tyler I had to head to my next class.
Tyler’s Point of View
We texted back and forth for a while. Marchy took a while. But that was because he was busy chirping with the guys. Lucic then came over to me and said “Who’s the girl?”
Me: “What girl?”
Lucic: “The one you have been texting for the last 15 minutes.”
Me: “Oh just my girlfriend.”
I tried downplaying it but that didn’t happen. Lucic yelled “Aw… Seggy has a girlfriend.”
Marchy: “That’s old news Looch.”
Lucic: “You already knew and you didn‘t tell us?”
Marchy: “Yeah I went out to dinner with her, Tyler and her roommate. Oh I decided to keep that my little secret.”
Before I knew it I was being bombarded with questions. I just answered the basic stuff. I said “Her name is Alex. She is a student at BU and she is on the soccer team. I met her at the park and we have been going out for 8 days. Anything else?”
Guys: “We want to see a picture.”
I flipped to the picture of us at the soccer field. I handed Looch the phone and the guys passed it around. They all had things to say about her. All of them were good things though.
Lucic: “When do we get to meet her?”
Me: “Wednesday after the game.”
Rask: “If you screw this up can I have her?”
Me: “Why would you ask that? I don’t plan on screwing this one up so I guess no.”
Rask: “I don’t know but its better me then Crosby.”
He was right. I kept a mental note of that for when the Penguins came to town. As the phone headed to Bergy the last to see it. He then said “Look at this picture.” He handed the phone back to where it came from.
Bergy: “I didn’t know you were a romantic.”
They all were saying “aw” as the phone was being passed back. Finally it returned to me they were looking at the picture of us kissing. I was blushing and Brad made sure to point that out. I told Brad let’s go before I could be embarrassed anymore. We got to the car and drove to a small coffee shop. Brad and I got our coffees and sat down.
Brad: “So Alex is coming to the game Wednesday?”
Me: “Yeah and hopefully every other home game.”
Brad: “Do you think she is going to bring Cherokee with her?”
Me: “Yeah she is bringing Cherokee with her. Why do you care? Do you like her? Ooh you like her.”
Brad: “I was just wondering and I don’t know I definitely think we will be great friends.”
Me: “You should ask her to hangout tonight dude.”
Brad: “Actually that sounds like a great idea. But I don’t have her number.”
Me: “One second.”
I texted Alex and got the number for Brad. After that we went home and played on the Xbox.
Alexandra’s Point of View
After what seemed like a million assignments later it was finally time to go home. I hobbled to my car, plugged in my ipod and drove home. When I got there I was embraced in a hug by Cherokee.
Cherokee: “Omg you will never guess what happened.”
Me: “Omg what happened?”
Cherokee: “Brad called me and asked me to hangout tonight.”
Me: “Yay! Did you pick out an outfit?”
Cherokee: “No, I need your help.”
I picked out a flowy top and dark skinny jeans. I also let her borrow my hoop earrings and chestnut ugg boots. I loved those boots and wouldn’t let just anyone wear them. As she got ready I worked on my assignments. I curled her hair for her.
Me: “You look so hawt!”
Cherokee: “Omg thanks!!”
I was finishing my assignments and Cherokee was on the computer anxiously waiting for Brad to come. I finally finished and was going to get things ready for the get together when Cherokee said “Omg aw…” She showed me the computer screen and she was on twitter. Tyler wasn’t kidding when he said he was going to change his profile picture to the one of us kissing. I smiled and started blushing as I walked out of the room to get food ready. I made a little snack to eat before the girls and Tyler came. We were all brining something. I made chocolate chip cookies. I set up the table to put food on. I put Claude in his crate so he couldn’t eat them. Before I knew it Tyler and Brad were here. I told Cherokee was here and she said she was coming. As she walked out I saw Brad smile. I was excited for them. I knew if they didn’t date they would be great friends. When Brad shut the door I immediately felt Tyler’s strong arms around me. I loved the feeling of being in his arms. He picked me up and carried me to the couch and sat me down in his lap. We started talking about hockey, soccer and other random stuff. I felt like we could talk forever without running out of something to talk about.We also did a little kissing. We may have also ate some of my cookies.
\Cherokee’s Point of View
After we left my apartment we walked to a pizzeria down the street. Brad ended eating one whole pizza on his own. He was so sweet. As we were walking to the pizzeria he held my hand. After pizza we went bowling and got ice cream. I am pretty bad at bowling but got my form down thanks to Brad. There was some great conversation. I really liked Brad.
Brad’s Point of View
When I saw Cherokee walk into the living room I smiled. She looked so beautiful. As we walked to the pizzeria I grabbed her hand. I loved how funny she thought it was that I ate a whole pizza on my own. After dinner we went bowling. She looked so cute trying to bowl but eventually she got the hang of it thanks to me. After that we shared an ice cream. I didn’t want the night to end.
Alexandra’s Point of View.
Eventually the girls got here. I introduced them to Tyler. To my surprise none of them freaked out when they met him. When everyone got there we ate a bunch of food and talked. Then we got our ice packs ready put them on and started the movie. I sat on Tyler’s lap. There was an empty space but he sat me in his lap. It was getting late and we all had to get up to go to another training session so after the movie they left. I said my goodbyes to everyone and told them we should do it again sometime. After everyone filed out it left me and Tyler.
Tyler: “Can’t believe they didn’t realize who I was.”
He said that with the cutest pouty face.
Me: “Maybe they did and were so shocked they didn’t say anything or they don‘t follow hockey. You know there was a divide between us right?”
Tyler: “Maybe and what??”
Me: “Hockey players don’t like soccer players and vice versa.”
Tyler: “Really and why?”
Me: “Because hockey players make fun of us because we aren’t as tough as you are supposedly.”
Tyler: “Oh..”
Me: “I can’t believe you didn’t know about that. Lol”
Tyler: “If there is that much animosity between us how are we dating?”
\Me: “Look at that vocabulary lol and I actually believe that you guys are tougher then us. Hockey players are the only people I know that can get hit in the face with the puck and come back 5 minutes later.”
Tyler; “Aw thanks babe.”
We kissed for a while.\
Me: “I can’t believe Cherokee’s not home yet.”
Tyler: “Brad knows to have a good time.”
Me: “ I guess I’m going to have to have the talk with him.”
Tyler: “ What talk would that be?”
Me: “The if you hurt my best friend I will break your face talk.”
Tyler: “How come I haven’t got that talk?”
Me: “ She knows I won’t do anything till I’m ready. She has always considered me over serious.”
Tyler: “So you’re a …?”
Me: “Yes I am.”
I was blushing it was awkward answering that question but it would be good for him to know.
Tyler: “It doesn’t matter to me you are perfect.”
After that we kissed a little more. But we stopped after we heard Brad and Cherokee coming. We said goodbye to the guys and started to talk about what happened on this little date.
Tyler’s Point of View
I had a really great time with Alex’s team members for only being together a short amount of time they gelled pretty fast. I also enjoyed my alone time with Alex. Time goes by so fast with her. I also learned something new about her. I knew I would have to make that certain night special. When Cherokee got home we said are goodbyes and left.
Alexandra’s Point of View
Me: “ So how did the date go?”
Cherokee: “It was so much fun I had a great time. We went to a pizzeria then went bowling and shared an ice cream.”
Me: “Did you guys kiss?”
Cherokee: “He kissed me on the cheek and held my hand.”
Me: “Aw… that is so sweet. I better go to bed have to get up at 6.”
Cherokee: “Kk nighty night we will talk about your night tomorrow.”
Me: “kk sounds good.”
Tyler’s Point of View.
Me: “ So how did the date go
Brad: “I think this is one of the best dates I ever had. We went to a pizzeria then went bowling and had ice cream.”
Me: “Did you kiss her?”
Brad: “No I wanted to but I was nervous I did kiss her cheek and held her hand.”
Me: “Brad is nervous about a girl. I will make sure that goes around the locker room.”
Brad: “Go ahead I’m going to bed goodnight.”
