Cherokee's Point of View
Brad asked me to hangout last night. I was so excited he asked me. I hesitated at first but knew Tyler would take good care of Alex for me. We ended up going to a club. I took Brad's hand and dragged him to the dance floor. We danced for a while but I was getting tired and it was getting late. Brad and I walked hand in hand to his apartment. When we got to his apartment we sat on the couch and watched Grown ups. I loved Brad's laugh, it was adorable.
Brad: "I had a really great time tonight."
Me: "So did I and got to see a Bruins victory. I feel bad Alex missed out on this hopefully she feels better soon."
Brad: "It's amazing she got sick so fast. She was perfectly fine this morning."
Me: "She always gets sick when she is really stressed. I don't blame her she has so much going on in her life. Between soccer, school and being the girlfriend of an NHL player, it is rough. But I know she wouldn't change anything for the world."
Brad: "Wow that is a lot."
Me: "She'll be fine she is a warrior."
Brad: "I could tell that from the first time I met her. Will you stay the night?"
Me: "That's what I admire about her and sure."
Brad: "Ok one sec."
He then went to his room. I didn't hesitate to say yes. Number 1 I didn't want to wake up Alex and Tyler and number 2 I didn't want to leave Brad. There was something about him that made me not want to leave him. I couldn't put my finger on it. I definitely had feelings for Brad. I hoped the feeling was mutual.
Brad's Point of View
After the game I asked Cherokee to hangout. I could tell she hesitated but she said yes. I took her to a club. We got there and had some drinks and she took my hand and we went to the dance floor. We danced for awhile and decide to head home. I took her to my apartment and we watched a movie. After the movie we talked about Alex. I felt bad for her. I then asked Cherokee to stay the night and without hesitation she said yes. I then walked out of the room and grabbed a pair of sweatpants and my bruins player shirt.
Me: " As adorable as you look sporting that jersey, here you can wear this."
Cherokee: "Thanks I'm going to go change."
Me: "Ok I'll wait"
Cherokee's Point of View
Brad walked out and handed me some clothes. I blushed when he said I looked adorable in his jersey. Hopefully he didn't notice. I walked to the bathroom and changed I took off the little makeup I had on off and walked back out to the living room. I sat down and snuggled into Brad. I didn't even think about it I just did it.
Brad's Point of View
She walked out, sat next to me and snuggled into my chest. It took me everything I had not to kiss her. I needed to tell her how I felt. I cleared my throat and spoke.
Me: "I really like you Cherokee."
Cherokee: "I like you too."
Me: " Will you go out with me?"
Cherokee: "Yes I would love that."
I then leaned in and kissed her.
Cherokee's Point of View
As Brad and I were watching TV I heard him clear his throat.
Brad: "I really like you."
When he said that I was super happy.
Me: "I like you too."
Brad: "Will you go out with me?"
Me: "Yes I would love that."
Then he kissed me. When his lips met mine it was like a puzzle. They fit perfectly together. Today was definitely a day I wouldn't forget. When he pulled away I snuggled in closer and we watched TV. I eventually fell asleep in his arms.
Brad's Point of View
After we kissed Cherokee snuggled in closer to me and I put my arms around her. We watched some TV and she fell asleep. It was cute how she mumbled in her sleep. I picked her up and brought her to my room carefully without waking her. I set her on my bed and put a blanket over her. I then took off my shirt and put my arm around her and fell asleep. I didn't realize how tired I was.
Alexandra's Point of View
I slept so well last night. Maybe it was because I was stressed out or I fell asleep with Tyler next to me. Luckily for me I set an alarm on my phone for 6 so I wouldn't be late for practice. I got up from the couch careful not to wake up a sleeping Tyler. He looked adorable. Like a puppy almost. I decided to take a picture of him sleeping. After I did that I got into some workout clothes and got my shin guards and socks on. I put on my flip flops and put my hair in it's signature bun and pre wrap. I then walked out to the kitchen and got a granola bar and water. Then I walked into the living room and saw Tyler with his eyes open.
Tyler: "Good morning baby. How are you feeling?"
Me: "Good morning. I'm feeling good now but I will have to tell you after practice."
Tyler: "Your going to go to school after last night?"
Me: "Yeah I can't miss practice my first game is coming up."
Tyler: "I don't know if that is a good idea."
Me: "I will be fine."
Tyler: "Are you sure?"
Me: "Yes thanks for the concern."
Tyler: "Ok promise me if you need anything you will text or call me."
Me: "I promise."
Tyler: "Ok."
Me: " Oh I better get going but first..."
Then I kissed him. He deepened the kiss. I didn't want it to stop but I really needed to get going so I pulled away.
Me: "Bye babe."
Tyler: "Bye baby text me after practice."
As I walked towards the door I realized Cherokee wasn't home and thought where she could be and then I realized she was probably at Brad and Tyler's apartment.
Me: "Oh and Tyler you can stay here. Cherokee's not home and you know what that means"
Tyler: "She's with Brad. Yeah I'll stay here till I have to go up and get my stuff for practice."
Me: "Ok bye babe."
Tyler: "Bye baby."
I walked out to my car and headed to practice. To be honest I was nervous about how practice was going to go. I felt fine now but how would I feel after running for two hours? When we got to practice we ran around the field and did are warm ups. I was feeling good so far. We then went and did some drills. The coaches let us scrimmage today but first we had to do some sprints. I was feeling good but then I fell and everything was spinning. I just lied there in the grass before I knew it trainers were surrounding me. They had me get on the cart and took me to the infirmary. When I got there they asked me a billion questions and I had a billion answers. After answering the questions and telling them about last night I heard a doctor say I needed to go to the hospital for testing. I didn't believe it was necessary but did as I was told. One of our trainers drove me and I waited to get the tests I needed to get done.
Me: "You don't have to stay I can call someone to come and stay with me."
Trainer: "Are you sure?"
Me: "Yeah I'm sure you have other stuff to do then sit here with me."
Trainer: "Nah your more important the team needs you. I'll stay here till the person you call comes."
Me: "Ok whatever makes you more comfortable."
I then decided who I was going to call. I didn't want Tyler to miss practice. I could call Cherokee but I needed someone to hold my hand and tell me I was going to be alright. I hated to be in hospitals. I decided on calling Tyler if I was still here when it was getting close to practice I would have Cherokee come. I went to my contacts and pressed Tyler's number and hit send and listened to it ring. After two rings he answered.
Tyler: "Hey baby."
Me: "Hey Tyler."
Tyler: "What's wrong?"
Me: "Can you come to the hospital? I need you."
I started to cry.
Tyler: "Don't cry baby I will be right there. Which one?"
Me: "Massachusetts General Hospital. Oh and bring your hockey stuff I am not letting you miss practice."
Tyler: ."Don't worry about hockey right now worry about you. I'll be right there"
Me: "Ok bye."
Tyler: "Bye baby stay strong."
Tyler's Point of View
After Alex left I stayed in her apartment and went back to sleep. I woke up again around 8:30. I was making something to eat when my phone rang it was Alex.
Me: "Hey baby."
Alex: "Hey Tyler."
Me: "What's wrong?"
Alex: "Can you come to the hospital? I need you."
She started to cry and I felt my heart start to shatter. I felt like I was hit by a bus.
Me: "Don't cry baby. I'll be right there. Which one?"
Alex: "Massachusetts General Hospital. Oh and bring you hockey stuff I am not letting you miss practice."
Me: ."Don't worry about hockey right now worry about you. I'll be right there"
Alex: "Ok bye."
Me: "Bye baby stay strong."
I then hung up the phone and raced to my apartment. I made sure I was as quiet as possible. I didn't want to wake anyone and I didn't want to have Cherokee worrying about Alex because I didn't know what was happening. I went to my room and changed into jeans and a Bruins sweatshirt. I then grabbed my hockey stuff so I didn't make Alex more stressed out. Then I ran out of the apartment and to my car. I got in the car and raced to the hospital probably breaking a couple laws along the way.
Alexandra's Point of View
After my phone call with Tyler I was a hot mess. I was uncontrollably sobbing. The trainer Jason was trying to calm me down but it wasn't working. I never acted like this. What was wrong with me? I was starting to have the feeling in my stomach and stood up and ran to the nearest bathroom and threw up my breakfast. After that I flushed the toilet and went to the sink. I washed my hands and face and headed back out to the waiting room. As I was sitting down I heard a nurse call my name. I then stood back up. I was wondering where Tyler was. I took one more look around for Tyler and as my eyes went to the entrance I saw him running in. I ran to him and started sobbing in his chest. He rubbed my back and told me it was going to be ok. After a few short minutes I calmed down and we followed a nurse to a room.
Nurse: "The doctor will be right with you."
Me: "Ok thanks"
The longer we waited the more I got nervous. Eventually a doctor came in he was pretty good looking too. That's when I felt Tyler squeeze my hand tighter.
Hi I'm Dr. Brown.
Me: "Hi."
Dr. Brown: "We are going to have you take a series of tests to see if we can find anything."
Me: "Ok."
After a series of test I had to sit and wait again for test results. I looked at my phone and saw the time it was 10:00.
Me: Tyler you are going to be late for practice !
Tyler: "Don't worry about it., it's all worked out."
Me: "If you don't practice you won't get to play in the game tomorrow."
Tyler: "I appreciate your concern but let's just focus on you for now."
Tyler's Point of View
I got to the hospital just in time. When Alex saw me she ran to me and sobbed in my chest. I calmed her down and we walked to a room. The nurse said the doctor would see her soon. When he walked in I squeezed her hand a little tighter. I saw him staring at her. After a series of test we had to sit and wait for the results. She looked at her phone and her eyes got big.
Alex: "Tyler your going to be late for practice!"
Me: "Don't worry about it, it's all worked out."
Alex: "If you don't practice you won't be able to play in the game tomorrow."
Me: "I appreciate the concern but let's focus on you for now."
I called coach while Alex was out taking a test and told him what happened and even though he was kind of disappointed he understood the situation. I loved how Alex was so caring but wished she would be a little more selfish.
Alexandra:'s Point of View
Eventually the doctor came in. I looked at Tyler and he gave me a reassuring smile.
Dr. Brown: "Well Miss. Samson you seem to be suffering from what is called a tension headache."
Me: "Is it serious?"
Dr. Brown: "No your case is not serious at all. It seems in your case it only occurs with extreme stress. Just take Advil or Tylenol when you get them but if you have to start taking them more than three times a week come back in and see me."
Me: "Ok when can I go back to soccer and school?"
Dr. Brown: "You can go back on Monday."
Tyler: "Is there anything she should stay away from?"
Dr. Brown: "She should be kept away from any unnecessary stress and any loud noises for a couple days. She can go to the game on Thursday."
When he said that,I was happy. I would only miss one game.
Me: "Thanks doctor."
Dr. Brown: "No problem if you run into any problems please come in."
Me: "I will."
Tyler and I walked out of the hospital to his car hand in hand.
Me: "You still have time to go to practice."
Tyler: "I'm not going to practice I am going to stay and take care of you."
Me: "Tyler you can't do that hockey is your job this could effect your career."
Tyler: "Don't worry about it. I talked to coach and he understood the situation."
Me: "I'm going to have a huge fan club when I meet everyone."
I started to get that feeling in my stomach but took a breath and relaxed my shoulders. The feeling I had went away.
Tyler: "Is that what has you all worked up? You were worried they wouldn't like you? Everyone was super excited to meet you, especially Milan"
Me: "Really?"
Tyler: "Yeah."
Me: "Well probably not now. They will think I'm one of those clingy girlfriends and made you stay and take care of me. Especially if they lose. "
Tyler: "Don't worry about that. I know they will love you."
Me: "Hopefully your right."
After what seemed like a while we were finally home. Tyler and I walked to my apartment. I immediately went to my couch and sat down, He sat down with me and I put my feet on his lap. I realized I was still in my practice clothes.
Me: "I'm going to take a shower I'll be right back."
Tyler: "Ok I will be out here if you need me."
I went to my room and got the clothes I was going to change into. I decided on my pair of sweatpants from basketball and my eagles basketball hoodie. Then I headed to the shower. The warm water was quite relaxing. Maybe I would take a bubble bath later. When I got out of the shower I changed and put my hair in a braid. Then I headed into the living room to take my seat next to Tyler he was watching Sportcenter.
Me: "Ooh my favorite other then the NHL network."
Tyler: "Your just saying that."
Me: "No I'm not kidding. I have been watching hockey since before I could walk or even talk for that matter. I really fell in love with the NHL network at age 14. I would record old games and TV shows and they stayed on my DVR since I left for college. I don't know if they are still on there because I'm sure my dad turned my room into a man cave.
Tyler: "Wow are you sure your not Canadian? Haha I doubt that he would do that to his little girls room. When will I get to meet your amazing parents?"
Me: "No joke I always said I wanted to be a Canadian. I always found Canadians so interesting for some reason. I spent a lot of time researching Canadian slang. Your probably right about my dad. He made me who I am, without him I wouldn't have my appreciation for sports, or get to play soccer for Boston University. He spent so much time and money into soccer. He made sure I could do everything I wanted. I think you will meet when my parents pretty soon they want to be here for my first game."
Tyler: "So if we have kids would you want them born in Canada or the US?"
Me: "We? Well if we were to have kids I would want them born in the US cause they are going to grow up here. Unless something happens which I won't say."
Tyler: "That makes sense. Your Dad sounds like an amazing guy. I'm excited to meet him but I'm sure he isn't. How does he feel about you dating an NHL player?"
Me: "OMG I haven't called them in forever. I'm such a bad daughter. They probably think I'm dead or something. I will call them tonight don't forget to remind me. My dad definitely turned my room into a man cave now."
Tyler: "You aren't a bad daughter you have been a super busy. Now calm down you are starting to stress yourself out for no reason."
Me: "Your right they will understand. So when do I get to meet your parents? "
Tyler: "You will see them for sure during Christmas. But you never know when they will come down.
Me: "I'm excited to meet the Seguin clan."
Tyler: "Haha we aren't that interesting."
Me: "I don't know about that."
He just laughed and gave a grin.
Me: "I wonder where Cherokee is? Brad should be at practice."
Tyler: "She probably went with him."
Me: "Your probably right they are like inseparable. Are you hungry I haven't ate since 6 ?"
Tyler: "Yeah what do you want?"
Me: "Do you want to order in or go out?"
Tyler: "Let's order in."
Me: "Ok how about a pizza?"
Tyler: "Sounds good."
Me: "Ok should I order two pizza's ? I heard from someone that hockey players can eat a whole pizza."
Tyler: "Oh really? I am assuming you heard this from Cherokee. Well let me tell you Brad can eat. He eats like he is the size of Chara."
Me: "Haha Cherokee better like grocery shopping. So does that mean you want to order one pizza?"
Tyler: "Yes order one pizza."
Me: "What should we get on it?"
Tyler: " I don't care whatever you choose."
Me: "Ok I'm going to go order it be right back."
The pizza would be here in 20 minutes. While we waited Tyler and I chose a movie.
"How about we watch Were The Millers." we said at the same time.
Me: "Well that was creepy."
Tyler: "Great minds think alike."
Me: "True."
I put the movie on and gathered some pillows and blankets. I may have stole a couple from Cherokee's room but she wouldn't mind. I wondered when she would be home.
Cherokee's Point of View
I woke up around 9. Brad was still sleeping when I woke up he had a huge smile on his face. I couldn't help but think I put it on his face. After staring at him awkwardly for a few minutes I decided to get up and go to the bathroom. I went to my apartment to grab a change of clothes. I expected to see Alex and Tyler but they weren't here. Maybe they went out for breakfast. Actually it wouldn't surprise me if Alex went to school. After I grabbed my clothes I went back to Brad's. I peaked into his room and he was still sleeping. I then went to the bathroom and changed. As I walked out of the bathroom I felt someone's arms around me. I was scared for a second and realized it was Brad.
Brad: "Morning beautiful."
Me: "Morning handsome."
I pecked him on the lips and we went out to the living room. It was about 9:30 and Brad had to be at practice at 10. He asked me to go to practice and I of course said "yes." We decided on going to Starbucks for breakfast I was in need of a smoothie. He got dressed and got his hockey gear together and we walked out to his car hand in hand.
Brad: "I thought Tyler would be coming with us but his car isn't here."
Me: "Maybe he had something he had to do before practice."
Brad: "Your probably right."
We went to Starbucks got are orders and headed to TD Garden. It was about 9:45 when we got there. Brad went to go get changed and I went to go find a seat in the stands. It was crazy how Alex and I were both girlfriends of NHL players who were also best friends. We dreamt about this are whole lives and never thought it would come true. The guys soon headed on the ice. It was so much fun watching them practice they managed to work hard and have fun. Before I knew it practice was over.
Brad: "Meet me outside of the lockeroom."
Me: "Ok."
When they all cleared off the ice. I went and waited outside the lockeroom. Brad was one of the first people out.
Me: "Wow that was fast."
Brad: "It doesn't really take that long to shower and change. I just take forever to bother Tyler."
Me: "Yeah ok, speaking which where is Tyler? "
Brad: "He has a very minor injury. He should be back and ready to go on Monday."
Brad's Point of View
I knew why Tyler wasn't here he texted me while I was changing to go out on the ice.
Tyler: Hey I just wanted to let you know I won't be at practice. Coach already knows I won't be there.
Me: Why? What happened? Are you ok?
Tyler: Calm down bro I'm fine but Alex on the other hand is not.
Me: "Omg what happened? Is she ok?
Tyler: She went to practice and while doing sprints she collapsed. She called me from the hospital. We don't know what it is yet. She is taking tests to see what it is. I just thought I would let you know but make sure Cherokee doesn't find out. The last thing we need is her to be disorientated and reckless.
Me: Ok I won't tell her and tell Alex I hope she feels better soon.
Tyler: Ok talk to you later.
Me: "So what do you want to do now?"
Cherokee: "I'm up for anything Alex wont be home or a while."
Me: "How about we go back to my place?"
Cherokee: "Sounds good to me."
We walked out to my car hand in hand.
Alexandra's Point of View
The pizza came and Tyler and I were snuggled together on the couch feeding each other pizza. We were more focused on that then the movie but I didn't really care. It was going to drive me crazy being stuck in my apartment. But it would be a little better with Tyler and Cherokee around. Maybe I would be able to coax Tyler into letting me go out. He was extremely protective over the whole loud noises thing. The doctor said if I heard loud noises it could cause me to pass out.
Brad's Point of View
Cherokee and I walked in to my apartment and kind of chilled out. She was so funny. We ordered Chinese food and fed each other. After that we ended up playing monopoly. By then it was about 3:30.
Cherokee: "Alex should be home by now, I'm going to go see her."
Me: "Ok I'll see you later."
We shared a quick kiss and she went out the door.
Tyler's Point of View
After watching the movie, Alex and I just sat and talked about random stuff. She eventually fell asleep in my arms. I loved to have her in my arms. Eventually I dozed off as well. It has been a long day. I woke up to see Cherokee walking through the door, Alex was still fast asleep.
Me: "Hey"
Cherokee: "How is she sleeping already?"
I didn't know if Alex would want me to tell her or if she wanted to tell her so I decided on not telling her.
Me: "I guess she is really tired."
Cherokee: "Yeah she has been busy luckily it's the weekend she gets a couple days off."
Me: "Yeah it will be good for her."
As we were talking I felt Alex starting to move.
Me: "Look who's awake. How are you feeling?"
Alex: "Good I could get use to this though?"
Me: "What staying home and sleeping?"
Alex: " No waking up and you being here."
Me: "Oh yeah?"
Alex: "Yeah."
She said that with the cutest smile ever and her eyes were sparkling. I had to kiss her. At first she was surprised but then wrapped her arms around my neck and deepened the kiss.
Cherokee's Point of View
I walked through the door to my apartment and saw Alex cuddled into Tyler's arms.
Tyler: "Hey"
Me: "How is she sleeping already?"
Tyler: "I guess she is really tired."
Me: "Yeah she has been busy luckily it's the weekend she gets a couple days off."
Tyler: "Yeah it will be good for her."
After we talked I went to my bedroom to clean it. But I realized I have left the cleaning supplies in the living room closet. As I walked to the living room I saw that Alex and Tyler were in the middle of a make out session. I made sure I was quiet so I didn't interrupt.
Alexandra's Point of View
We kissed for a while but we had to stop eventually because we were out of breath
Me: "Are you going to stay for dinner?"
Tyler: "Do you want me to?"
Me: "Yeah the least I could do is make you dinner after you took care of me. Oh and call Brad and tell him to come"
Tyler: "It's really not a problem baby and I will call him."
Me: "Ok I'll be right back."
I walked to Cherokee's room and saw she was sleeping. I ran to her bed and jumped on her.
Cherokee: "I will kill you in your sleep!!"
Me: "Whoa no need to be so violent."
Cherokee then raised her eyebrows and said "or I could just embarrass you."
Me: "What do you mean?"
Cherokee: "I saw that make out session earlier."
Me: "OMG."
At that point I was blushing. as bright as Rudolph's nose.
Cherokee: "That's what I though."
Me: "So anyway what do you want me to make for dinner?"
Cherokee: "Um.. how about the homemade macaroni and cheese your mom makes."
Me: "Omg that's brilliant. Oh and by the way I invited your friend Brad over."
More like boy Cherokee said in a barely audible tone.
Me: "What did you just say?"
Cherokee: "What?"
Me: "It sounded like you just said boy. Is this your way of telling me Brad asked you out?"
"Maybe" said Cherokee with a wicked grin on her face.
Me: "OMG I'm so happy for you!!"
That got her all excited and we were screaming and jumping up and down, After a few minutes we calmed down.
Me: "I hope Tyler didn't hear that."
Cherokee: "Ah who cares at this point?"
Me: "Oh have you and Brad have aready talked about telling people?"
Cherokee: "No not yet, but you are the only person i'm going to tell and i'm sure he is going to tell Tyler."
Me: "I guess that is ok. Just please be careful. I better go get dinner started it takes foreve to make that stuff."
Cherokee: "But it tastes amazing and i'm sure the guys will like it."
I then headed to the kitchen hoping I had everything I needed because there was no way I Tyler was going to let me go out at rush hour, due to the noise. I looked through are babinets and saw that there was no pasta.
"Awesome" I muttered under my breath
Tyler: "What's wrong baby?"
Me: "Oh nothing just need to go pick some stuff up from the store. I'll be back in a few."
Tyler; "Oh no you don't, I'm not letting you leave especially during rush hour."
"Please" I said trying to put on the cutest puppy dog face ever.
Tyler: "You heard what the doctor said."
"Yeah I know." I said in an annoyed tone.
I'll go and see if Cherokee will do it.
Cherokee: "Do what?"
Me: "Go pick up the stuff for dinner."
Cherokee: "Um ok but why can't you do it?"
"Uh..doctor's orders" I said inabarely audible tone.
Cherokee: "What was that?"
Tyler gave me a nudge and I decided it would be a better time than ever to tell her about what actually happened today.
Me: " I said because it was doctor's orders."
Cherokee: "Doctors? Please explain."
Me: "Well this morning I woke up and got ready for practice thinking I was ok but I guess I wasn't. Tyler tried to talk me out of going to practice but I didn't listen. I went to practice and was fine till we had to do sprints. In the middle of doing them I collapsed. They took me to the infirmary and told me I needed to go to the hospital. Our trainer drove me there and we waited so I could get tests done."
Cherokee: "Omg why didn't you call me?! I know you have a serious fear of hospitals and how does Tyler know this?"
Me: "I called Tyler and he came and was there with me."
Cherokee: "So that's why he missed practice?"
Me: "Yeah I tried to tell him to go but he didn't listen."
Tyler: "Yeah she did try."
Cherokee: "Oh.. so why can't you go get the stuff?"
Me: "The doctor said I should stay away from any loud noises until Monday and Tyler is being a little overprotective."
Cherokee: "Did you give him the puppy dog face?"
Me: " Yes it didn't work."
Cherokee: "How did it not work? It gets me everytime."
Me: "I have no clue."
Cherokee: "Well I'll go get the stuff."
Me: "Ok thank ya."
Cherokee left leaving me and Tyler. When he heard the door close. He lifted me up in his arms and put me on the counter. I gave him a pouty face.
Tyler: "Can you please smile? Oh and for the record it took me everything I had not to let you go."
Me: "I don't know that is the first time that face didn't work."
Tyler: "Haha aw.. baby."
I gave him another pouty face and he went in and kissed me. I wrapped my legs around his waist and deepened the kiss. I couldn't help it, I just couldn't stay mad at him. I eventually pulled away teasing him in away. He then gave me a pouty face.
Me: "Your going to have to wait."
"Fine" he said with the adorable pouty face. Cherokee came back moments later with the ingredients and I started making dinner. Tyler and Cherokee were keeping me company. We were having fun and joking around.
Me: "When is Brad getting here?"
Tyler: "I thought he would be here now. I'm sure he will be here any minute."
As he said that there was a knock on the door. I looked to Cherokee and said "do you want me to get that?" with a wink.
Cherokee: "No I got it."
She literally ran to go answer the door. I just shook my head and laughed.
Cherokee's Point of View
I came back with the stuff for dinner. Alex, Tyler and I were talking and joking around. I was curious where Brad was. That is when Alex says "when is Brad getting here?"
Tyler: "I don't know I'm sure he will be here any minute."
As he finished that sentence there was a knock on the door. "Do you want me to get that?" she said with a wink. "No I got it." I said blushing. I went to the door and there was Brad with roses.
Brad: "I got these for you."
Me: "Aw.. thanks there beautiful"
Brad: "Just like you."
That made me blush. We walked into the kitchen hand in hand. I didn't even realize it just felt so natural.
Me: "Look what I got."
Alex: "There so beautiful. I'm so glad I won't have to buy them for you anymore haha."
Me: "What no bouquet on Valentines Day?"
Alex: "Haha if it means that much to you I will get you your bouquet."
Me: "Thank you that's all I ask."
Alex: "OMG hahaha"
Tyler: "Why are you guys buying each other flowers on Valentines Day?"
Us: "We were losers in high school."
Alex: "Well she was single freshmen year and I always thought Valentines day was a day for you to show love towards your loved ones so I bought her a bouquet and she loved them and after that it became a tradition."
Me:"You were single too you know!! And I got her flowers because she was sad about being single on Valentines day so I thought I would get her flowers to cheer her up and then it became a tradition."
Guys: "That is a pretty interesting story."
Me:"Yeah it definitely is."
Alexandra's Point of View
We were all talking in the kitchen. It was so much fun my best friend and my boyfriend together. After that story the oven went off telling me dinner was ready. I took the macaroni and cheese out of the oven and set the table. We sat at the table and continued talking.
Me: "I think this is the first time we sat at the table."
Tyler: "Really?"
Me: "Yeah Cherokee and I don't eat together a lot and when we do we eat in the living room."
Cherokee: "Are you sure we didn't when your parents came?"
Me: "No we went out to dinner remember?"
Cherokee: "Oh yeah..."
Me: "Are you ok Brad you have been quiet?"
Brad: "Yeah I'm fine I'm just in love with this macaroni and cheese."
Me: "Haha thanks."
Tyler: "Yeah its really good."
When I was done I got up from the table and got ready to clean the dishes. Cherokee helped me pick up the plates. I told her I would clean the dishes hoping she would take her chance to spend some alone time with Brad. As I was about to start cleaning the dishes I felt arms wrapped around me, I knew they were Tyler's. He put his head in the crook of my neck.
Tyler: "Dinner was really good baby."
Me: "Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed it."
I started washing the dishes. As I was washing a plate I felt Tyler's hand on top of mine. I loved his touch. He helped me clean the dishes and put them away. I was going to pull the sink stopper when I felt his arms around me again I turned to face him and he pulled me in closer and kissed me with a lot of passion. We pulled away when I ran out of breath.
Tyler: "I should probably get going you need to rest."
Me: "Ok let me walk you out."
We walked out to the living room and no one was there.
Me: "Hm.. I wonder where they went?
Tyler: "Either my apartment or Cherokee's room?"
Me: "Luckily they decided not to make out in front of us."
Tyler: "Haha I wouldn't mind we probably deserve it they both caught us making out at least once."
Me: "Yeah I guess your right."
Tyler: "I'm going to let you rest and I will be here first thing in the morning to take care of you"
Me: "You mean make sure I don't leave the apartment."
Tyler: "Whatever you want to call it. Oh and don't forget to call your parents."
Me: "Ah thank you I almost forgot."
Tyler: "No problem."
Me: "Bye babe."
Tyler: "Bye baby."
Me: "Oh.. but first."
I wrapped my hands around his neck and got on my tippy toes and kissed him.
Tyler: "Bye"
When I saw him get in the elevator I turned and went into my apartment. I went and showered and changed into my cozy pajamas. After I put my hair up in a messy bun and my glasses on, I headed to my phone so I could call my parents. I called my parents house and my mom picked up.
Mom: "Hello."
Me: "Hi Mom."
Mom: "OMG are you ok we haven't heard from you in a while?"
Me: "Yeah I'm ok."
Mom: "You don't sound ok what's wrong? Is it your boyfriend?
Me: "No it's not about my boyfriend, he is perfect. I just had a really long couple days.
Mom: "Do you want to talk about it?"
I told her about soccer and the accident.
Mom: "So tell me about this mystery boyfriend?"
Me: "Well what do you want to know?"
Mom: "Well for starters his name?"
Me: "Well promise you won't freak out?"
Mom: "Ok I won't."
Me: "I'm dating Tyler Seguin."
Mom: "Haha very funny really what's his name?"
Me: "Mom I'm being seriously if you don't believe me look it up online supposably there's a lot of pictures of us together."
Mom: "Fine I will..."
A few seconds later I hear her gasp.
Mom: "You weren't lying. How long have you been together?"
Me: "I wouldn't lie about that and about 2 weeks."
Mom: "How did you guys meet?"
Me: "I literally ran into him while I was running and then we saw each other again when I took Claude to the park and then we learned we lived in the same building and started to hang out and before we knew it we were dating."
Mom: "Aw that's a sweet story I'm so excited to meet him when we are there in a couple days."
Me: "He is excited to meet you. How do you think dad will take the news?"
Mom: "Don't worry about your father if he is as sweet as you say he is your dad will be fine. Are you going to be able to play your first game?"
Me: "Yeah I will be ready to play. I can't wait to see you guys."
Mom: "Me neither I will let you get some rest and I will talk to you soon. Love you."
Me: "Love you too goodnight."
After I pressed end on my phone I got a notification. It was a text from Tyler.
Tyler: Goodnight baby get some rest. I'll see you first thing in the morning. <3
Me: Ok see you then goodnight babe. <3
After that I turned off my phone and went to bed unsure where Cherokee was but knowing Brad was with her she would be fine.
Cherokee's Point of View
Alex let me off the hook from helping her do the dishes so I could spend some time alone with Brad. That or she wanted to spend some alone with Tyler. I took Brads hand and we went to my room. We decided on watching a movie. Of course he had to kiss me during most of the movie not that I was complaining. He was a good kisser. He had his arms wrapped around me. I loved his sweet and sensitive side you wouldn't think a hockey player could act like that. I must have fell asleep during the second movie with Brad on my side.
