Gonna Make You Sweat

"They are so gorgeous Michelle!" Amanda said with a big smile. "Johnny needs to teach Brian how to gift give!" She said with a laugh.

"Well they're I'm sorry flowers so I'm not surprised!" She said with a shrug. "But they are beautiful and I love them!" She said taking a sip of her white wine.

"Yes, what a horrible mistake the ex knows but not the girlfriend? Tsk tsk tsk" said Kelly Lee waving her finger.

"Kelly, you really need to stop taking your bitch pills otherwise one of these days you're going to get slapped." Amanda said full force and with a great deal of anger. Everybody was sick of the bitch squad consisting of Kelly Lee and Dayna Seabrook. The girls thought that things would settle down after she had a baby, but if anything they got ramped up. "Come on Michelle" she said as the two went to the front of the box. Right off of the faceoff, Toews fed a pass to Kaner back to Toews who made a one timer on the net to score 25 seconds in. Amanda and Michelle held each other hugging and jumping up and down. "That's your boy!" Amanda said grinning.

"It was a beauty!" She added. Then suddenly on the replay screen there was a split screen video of Michelle celebrating with Amanda and Lindsay with Mrs. Toews hugging her . Then moving to two boxing gloves tapping each other and the bell ringing then a live shot of Lindsay grinning evilly and Michelle with her mouth gaping open not being able to believe what she saw

. "That bitch." Amanda said to her "she looks so desperate "

"She may be desperate, but it's her sitting with the Toews family, not me." Michelle said with a frown.

"Just be your charming self tonight. And if they don't like you, screw em" said Amanda with a smile causing the two girls to laugh.

Michelle patiently waited in the players lounge for Jonathan. Lucky for her she got through security fairly easily and Jonathan's parents as well as Lindsay were nowhere to be found. "There's my man" she said uncrossing her legs with a big smile on her face. "You were amazing tonight." She sad giving Jonathan a deep, lusty kiss holding him in her arms as he smiled back at her.

"Merci mon Cherie," he said giving her another peck on the lips. "Is that a new dress? It looks amazing on you." He said grabbing her ass through the material.

"Bought it just for tonight." She said with a smile. He touched his forehead to hers grinning

. "I can't wait to see how good it looks on our floor." He said squeezing her behind again, not realizing that they weren't alone by now.

"Ahem" a female cleared her throat. "Jonathan one would think you'd be a bit more discreet in public." His mother said. A diminutive blonde woman with her husband had entered. As well as Lindsay

. "Mom, Dad. I'm so glad you came." He said giving them both hugs. "You remember Michelle." He said ushering her over.

"Mr and Mrs Toews always a pleasure." She said with a smile. "

"Yes dear, that's nice." Mrs Toews said practically waiving her off. "Johnny I was thinking we could go to dinner the four of us. Perhaps you could take Michelle to her hotel."

"Mom, Lindsay isn't a part of my life anymore. Michelle and I are happy together" he said squeezing her hand. "We live together." He added closing his eyes waiting for the impact.

"And you didn't tell us?" She asked him. "I think we should talk alone." She said lowering her voice. "About what's best for your image, your career." She said seriously.

"Jon, it's ok. I'll go home" Michelle said giving him a kiss on the cheek. Suddenly Brandon Saad entered the room. "Brandon can take me home" she said smiling.

"Umm, yeah sure." Said the quiet young man. "I don't mind" he added shrugging. Jonathan stopped for a minute looking between all of the people in the room wearily. This is not how he intended to celebrate his win tonight.

"Ok." He said with his head down. "but Lindsay, you should go home. You don't have a place in this discussion."

"But your parents..."she started before being cut off "No. This is between them and me. Lindsay we are over. Done. No more. I can't have you trying to hijack my relationship like this. Just go home." He said giving her a serious look

. "Fine." She said quietly. With that she walked away from him, out of his life. But for how long?

---- "Billy Joel ok?" Brandon asked searching through his iPod. "

"Sure." Michelle smiled doing up her seatbelt. "Hey Brandon? Would it be ok if we stayed out a bit? I'm not quite ready to go home." Michelle said a bit sad.

"Yeah if course." He said pulling out of the players parking lot. "As long as Jon is ok with it"

"To be honest that's not really my concern" Michelle said. "I wasn't ok with him lying to his parents, but here we are." She said with a defeated laugh.

"Yeah, that really wasn't cool." He said turning it to the song Piano Man. "I can play this on the piano." He said with a proud grin. Was he trying to impress her?

"Really? That's so cool. I'm so musically in talented it's not even funny." She said with a laugh. "Thanks by the way." She said

. "For what?" He asked.

"Coming to my rescue. You could've easily brushed me off." She said. "But you came to the rescue" she said with a smile. "Thanks" she added.

" listen Michelle." He said seriously "I can't explain what Jonathan is thinking. Tazer can be weird like that sometimes. But I guess you'd already know that" he said. "But I do know that he loves you. Wether he always shows it or not, it is there." He added smiling at her.

"Thanks." She said with a small smile. "He just...I don't know. Maybe we rushed things too much. Moving my life after 3 months of being with him. I don't know maybe that was too crazy an idea" she said.

"Well I know if it were me, I'd say to him that if he wants me here he needs to act like it. He needs to stand up and give a shit. You can be proud of your relationship and not flaunt it." He said. "Like the way you talked about him on tv today" he said

. "You saw that?" She asked blushing.

"Yeah, I umm. I PVR'd it actually" he said turning a shade of red himself. "But you were proud without flaunting it." He added.

"Thanks." She said again. "So how about you ? Man-child find a girl yet?" She asked him.

"I've got my eye on a few" he said. "But my standards are pretty high." He said. "

"You'll find someone." She said as he stopped outside her door. "Thanks for the ride" she smiled.

"Anytime" he added smiling as she waved goodbye walking into her building.
