Rougher and Tougher

Jordan Smyth is her name. She's a hockey player from northern Quebec. No one knows how she got there but, she's in the draft. Apparently, the scout who saw her turn 2 defence men inside out, and undress a goalie failed to see that she had long, blonde hair, under her helmet. He told her that she was drafted on the ice, while all her teammates just stared; wondering why the hell he'd bother with a girl, they wouldn't take her, no matter her talent. She'd be stuck in QMJHL, playing for the Baie Comeau Drakkar, getting paid 500 a game. To support her poor family, that wasn't enough. She needs the NHL but, will they take her? Will they welcome her, or crush her dreams like an empty pop can? Who knows......
