Becoming Stronger together

Jon walked over to the door and saw Gina. He helped her get her bags into hers and Pats room. Patrick went to go help and Jon left.

"Hey Babe. How was your trip?" He said laying down in bed with her
"Long. I'm really tired. How have things been here?" Gina asked
Patrick looked her straight in the eyes, "I'm not going to lie to you. Tristan is probably the most perfect little kid I know. He is 100% all you with your beautiful smile and cute laugh and perfect personality. Christian on the other hand is 120% Satan's child. He uh he has gotten into drugs and drinking with a group of kids at his school. He has a server concussion from a football game, it has been none stop fighting back and forth since the day you left. But um, about a week or so ago, his girlfriend from Georgia ended up getting in a really bad car accident and passed away a few days later. He is taking that really hard, I don't talk with him about it unless he brings it up. Oh and you're going to end up hearing this in the media and I thought I'd be the first to tell you, I got arrested for punching a cab driver drunk. I know better now to watch my drinking and I'm definitely laying off. I have an amazing life and career, and I'm surrounded by an amazing team and organization, but having you and the kids is an absolute blessing and I wouldn't change that for anything in the whole world."
Gina looked at him with tears in her eyes, "I love you so much Patrick. No matter if you do something stupid or not. I can't imagine being with anyone other than you."

He sat forward and kissed her. They ended up just laying in bed all night talking about Gina's trip. Seabs, Crawford, Sharp, Shaw, Sadd, Bollig, and Toews hung out in the front room playing xbox and drinking, they were up till 2-3 in the morning.

*Christians' POV*

My brothers team ended up spending the night, and they were up late playing xbox and drinking. I slept for a few hours when we first got home, but my heart started racing. I thought I could sleep it off but it only got worse, I wanted to take advil or something to try and see if that would help. I got up out of my bed and walked to the kitchen. The guys must've seen or heard me because they asked if I needed anything, I said I was fine and just needed something to drink. I jumped up on the counter to get a cup from the cabinet, but the second I jumped up I got a really bad headache and my vision started getting weird. I thought that I fell backwards, but Jon ended up catching me.

*End Of POV*

"Christian you need anything bub?" Sharp asked
"No, I'm fine. Thanks though." Christian said jumping up on the counter.
The team heard a noise from the kitchen and Jon ran over and caught Christian, "Hey. You ok?"
Christian covered his eyes and shook his head yes, "Just give me a minuet."
Sharp and Seabs walked over, "Kid I don't think you're ok. Is your heart bugging you?" Shaw asked
"My head just hurts. I'm fine." Christian said.
Jon got him a wet cloth and put it on Christians' head, "Bub what'd Jeff say to you back in Florida?"
"He wants to do a CAT scan of my brain and check my heart again." Christian said
"Can I get your brother or Gina to help?" Jon asked
Christian shook his head no, "Can you just help me back to my room?"
The guys looked at each other knowing they needed to get Kaner, "Yeah c'mon little man." Seabs said while Jon went to go get Pat.

*With Pat*

"Kaner. I need to talk to you for a second." Jon said knocking on the door and walked in
"Jon it's 3 in the morning. Can't this wait?" Pat asked
"It's Christian. He almost passed out again. He has something seriously wrong with him and I think you need to put your brother into consideration and not just your kid." Jon said before he walked out and shut the door behind him.
