Becoming Stronger together

*At the Beach*

"Are you okay babe?" Janessa asked
He tried shaking it off, but he couldn't lie to her, "I'll be fine. It's just my heart acting up."
"Babe your heart shouldn't be racing that race. Si-" She started to say but Christian stutter stepped backwards and laid down
"Yeah. Just one of those things when you stand up too fast and get light headed. It's probably from my heart racing." He said standing up
"Lets go walk towards your brother. I'll let you finish your revenge on him later." She winked at him.

As they were walking he was leaning against her and they were holding hands. The team all thought they were adorable, but couldn't tell if they were dating or not.

"Hey Christian wanna go walk for a little bit?" His brother asked, "Janessa you can come too."
He nodded his head still leaning on her, "Sure."
They started walking, "I called Kevin and talked with him about the whole bloody nose thing, and what his mom had. I'm thinking there's a chance you have it, and want to take you to the doctors tomorrow to check." Patrick said looking at his brother
"Sure. Its only running a few tests and blood drawing correct?" Christian asked
"Yeah one to two needles tops. I promise I'll be there the whole time and this beautiful young lady is more than welcome to join." Pat included
Janessa smiled, "Yah I'll be there for you Christian. I'd be too worried if I didn't go." She said giving him a kiss
"So are you two dating or what are you guys doing?" Pat asked
Christian looked at Janessa, "Well, Janessa, would you do me the honor of being my one and only beautiful and gorgeous girlfriend?"
She looked at him and jumped on him and started kissing him.
"So I'm taking that as you two are dating?" Pat asked again
They stopped kissing, "Yes, yes we are." Janessa said smiling
"Haha alright well, it's getting late and I'm sure your parents would like you to be getting home. Christian drop her off then head home alright bub?" Pat said.

Christian drove to Janessas' house and got out of the car and opened the door for her. He walked her up to the front door and kissed her before they knocked on the door. Once they knocked, Janessas' father answered.

"Hey baby girl. Did you have a good time tonight?" Her dad asked
Janessa smiled, "Yes I did daddy! I'm going to go Christian. Good night! Thanks again for the amazing dinner and fun date!"
Christian waved good night to her, "Hello sir. How are you?"
"Hello. I'm good how are you?" He replied
"I'm doing well, thank you. I was wondering if I could ask for your permission for something?" Christian had said
"Sure son. What is it?" He answered
"Your daughter means the world to me and nothing makes me happier than knowing she's happy. I would be honored to have your permission to date your daughter. I give you my total and complete honesty when I say I will never hurt her." Christian said
Her dad looked at him, "I was very impressed that you opened the door for her, and walked her to the door. Not many teenagers do that anymore, and they should. Seeing as she seems to have had a good time tonight, and she was back 20 minuets before I had asked her to be back, I will give you my blessing to date my daughter. But if you hurt her, my fist and gun will have no problem meeting you and your pretty face."
"Yes'sir. I understand and completely agree." Christian said, "Good night sir." He said shaking his hand
"Good night son." Her dad walked inside and shut the door.
