Becoming Stronger together

*At the UC*

The BlackHawks were playing The Winnipeg Jets and it was a home game. Christian wanted to be at home right now asleep because his headache, but his brother didn't trust him. He had to sit in the Family Box with Tristan and watch him. The teams were warming up and taking shots on goal. Once the game started the jets got the puck and within the first 5 min got a goal. Crawford just couldn't save it. Then a few min after Hjalmarsson got the next goal. It was tied 1-1. The rest of the period both teams tried to get another goal, they just couldn't. In the 2nd period Bollig, Sharp, and Leddy all got a goal, they brought the score up to 4-1. The Jets couldn't seem to get a goal the rest of the game, and in the 3rd period Smith ended up getting the last goal of the game. 5-1 Blackhawks.
While the team is in the locker room celebrating, Sharpie announced that he'd be having an after party at his house.

*In the Locker Room*

Christian walked down to the locker room with Tristan. Christian went over and sat in his brothers booth and laid back, Pat walked over to him and sat next to him, "Hey we're all going to Sharps after. You're coming with."
"Can I go to Sams instead?" Christian asked
"I'd rather you be with me." Kane said
"Please? I'll spend the night at his house so you can drink there. Plus, I'd rather be with kids my age then with a bunch of old people." Christian said
Jon hit Christian in the leg, "We aren't old people. We're fun people."
"Yeah old people who think playing Bingo is fun. Please Pat?" Christian begged
"You have a concussion, I want you here with me tonight. Sorry bud." Pat said
Christian sighed, "Fine." He stood up and left the locker room
"Broder!" Tristan yelled when Christian left
Pat picked him up, "No, He's your uncle and not a very happy one either."
"Kaner let him go to his friends house. What is he going to do at my place? Sit and watch Tristan while we're all drinking and having fun. I understand you want him with you, but the tighter you hold the leash the further away he wants to be from you." Sharp said patting Kane on the back.
"Why should I let him go?" Pat asked
"Your brother not mine, but I know what I would do." Sharp said walking away.

Kane walked out of the locker room and over to his brother, "Hey I'm sorry I am being an ass right now but I need to look out for you." he said to his brother
Christian looked up at him, "Yeah. I get it." He said with a smirk on his face.
"Come on lets go." Kaner said walking back to the locker room with his brother
"Sharpie can I sleep at your house? My head hurts and I'm tired." Christian asked
"Yeah. You can have the guest bedroom and we'll put T with Madeline." Sharp said to him

*Sharpies house*

Christian walked with his brother and Tristan to Pats car. They drove off to Sharps house and when they got there Tristan was already asleep in the car so Pat had to carry him to bed. Christian went right to bed when he got to Sharps, so the team was down stairs drinking and having fun.

"Kaner do you think Christian does drugs?" Shaw asked
"I don't know. He told me he doesn't but I can't really trust him. Why?" He responded with
Shaw just shrugged his shoulders, "I feel like his whole attitude has changed because he is on drugs or something."
"If he is he won't listen to me to stop. We already figured that out seeing as he barely listens to me anyways." Kane said
"What if we get a cop to pull him over when he's driving and have him drug test Christian. Then if it's positive he can arrest him and take him to jail." Bickell chimed in, "That would scare the shit out of me and get me to stop."
"I don't want to scared the shit out of him, but I do want to get him to stop." Pat said, "If he even is doing drugs."
"Kaner, I'd hate to break it to you, but he is doing drugs. Why do you think Q called us to the UC the other day with the bag full of drugs. It was Christians. Your brother does drugs, and they're going to end up killing him." Sharp says
"Can one of you talk with him because he won't listen to me. It has to be someone he's close with and doesn't have a problem with thought." Kane asked.
Everyone looked over at Jon who was looking at his phone texting someone. When he looked up and saw everyone look at him he asked, "Why are you guys staring at me?"
"You're going to talk Christian out of doing drugs. Go." Shaw said to him
"He isn't going to listen to me but whatever." Jon said as he sat up.

Jon went upstairs and walked into the spare bedroom and saw Christian was on his phone. He knocked on the door frame and Christian turned his attention to the door and shut off his phone.

"You can come in." Christian said
Jon walked in turned the lights on and sat on the bed next to Christian, "Thanks. Um I need to talk with you about something."
"Ok what is it?" Christian asked
"Do you do drugs? Be 100% honest because you're getting drug tested sometime soon and if you lie, then you will end up being grounded for 3 months." Tazer asked
"I have tried some types of drugs, but I'm not telling you what and how much and how often. Why?" Christian said
"We're all worried about you. Do you know what drugs can do to you? Especially because you have a heart problem." Tazer asked
"Actually the effects are different depending on the drug. Like some make my heart slow down, other make it race. Some don't effect my heart at all. It depends on what I'm taking." Christian said
"That is ridiculous. I Hate to say this, but I hope something bad does happen to you so you end up learning the hard way to not do drugs anymore." Jon said. He was annoyed at the fact that Christian didn't care.
"If you really care to know, I have been in the hospital because of it. You guys just never found out about it, I have a good group of friends who look out for me. Don't worry about it." Christian said like it was no big deal.
"That is bullshit because they would've called me or your brother." Jon said
Christian argued back, "Not if I told them the 18 year old with me was my legal guardian and had fake paper proof."
"You are fucking up your life so badly and you don't even give a shit! You have a whole team of people who care about you and you aren't doing shit! If you weren't my roommates brother I would punch you in the face so hard right now!" Jon said fuming mad
"Then punch me in the face see if I give a shit! It'll make you look like the ass hole!" Christian yelled back
Jon got up and looked at Christian, "I have more respect for you then that, but some people on this team wouldn't mind punching you in the face."
"You're too much of a little bitch to punch me so you're going to get someone else to do it for you? Makes sense." Christian said.
Jon was sick of Christians' smart ass remarks so he walked over to Christian and punched him in the face, "Shit! I didn't mean to. You were just pissing me off and I-"
Christian couldn't believe that Jon punched him, "Can you get out please?" Christian said holding his face.
"Christian I'm sorry!" Jon yelled.

Sharp, Kaner, and Seabs ran upstairs because of the yelling between the two. They didn't see Jon punch Christian, but they saw Christians' cheek had a huge cut on it from Jons' stanley cup ring and was already starting to bruise.

"Jon did you punch him?" Kane asked walking over to his brother to help him
"I didn't mean to. He was just being stupid and something in me triggered. I'm so sorry Kaner, you know I would never hurt him." Jon said feeling really bad.

Sharp went over to Christian and walked him and Seabs to the bathroom to get his face cleaned up and Jon stayed with Kaner in the bed room.

"You can't punch a kid Tazer, especially Christian! You know he trusts you and looks up to you!" Pat yelled
"I didn't mean to! I swear! He does drugs and he makes it seem like it's an everyday thing to do and he doesn't give a shit that it will effect his heart!" Jon argued back
"He does drugs?" Kaner calmed down and sounded upset
Jon nodded his head yes, "I'm sorry Kaner."
"I had to mess up somewhere within the past 3 years of him being here that he started to do drugs." Kaner said
"No! It isn't your fault Pat. If anything its probably from going to public school and just having that peer pressure around him all the time." Jon said sitting next to Pat
"I'm sorry for getting mad at you for punching him. I should have listened to what happened first." Kane apologized
"Can we go check on him and see if he's alright?" Jon asked
Him and Pat stood up and walked into the bathroom.
"You alright?" Jon asked
Christian looked at him then looked down at the ground.
"Christian are you alright?" His brother asked…...
