Becoming Stronger together

"Christian are you alright?" His brother asked him a second time.

Christian kept starring at the ground. He didn't want to talk because his head hurt from the concussion. It didn't help the fact that he just got punched in the face either. Seabs lifted Christians' chin up to be eye to eye with him.

"Are you ok little man?" Seabs asked
Christian looked at him and said, "My head hurts really bad right now and the fact that I got punched in the face isn't helping my headache go away."
"I'm sure it doesn't but you need to not be such a smart ass all the time. Alright?" Seabs said
"Are you almost done?" Christian asked
"Yeah I just need to put a butterfly bandaid on this. Sharp can you hand me one please?" Seabs asked.
Sharpie handed him the bandaid and he put it on Christians' cheek then covered it with another bandaid.
Christian walked over to his brother and leaned on him and said, "I'm sorry Patrick."
"Come on lets get you to bed." Patrick said walking with his brother. Jon went to follow behind but Christian asked to not be near Jon for awhile.

*With Christian and Patrick*

"You know Jon didn't mean to punch you right?" Pat said to his brother
"Yeah, but it doesn't talk the fact away that he punched me." Christian argued
Pat looked at his brother, "Everyone on this team either sees you as a little brother. We all look out for you, and we don't want to see you throw your life away. What they see in you is how I used to act before I let you move in with me. I had a reason to stop and get my head put on straight. I'm afraid that you are going to go to some party and take some drug that'll end up killing you, and what am I supposed to do then. I think of you as my own kid now Christian, and I won't sit here letting you go to parties and go drinking and taking drugs and end up dying. I love you too much to let you do that. We all want you to be safe and ok? We can't do that if you aren't in the right state of mind. So let us help you and look after you alright?"
Christian nodded his head and agreed, "But I'm still going to go to parties and hangout with friends."
"Yeah we'll see about that. I'm going to get an ice pack for your face, then you gotta go to bed." Pat said as he stood up.
"Thanks." Christian said
"I'll be right back." Pat said as he left

Patrick brought the icepack to his brother and went back downstairs with the guys and just hung out. They talked about their girlfriends/wives, family, and cars. They ended up going in the pool swimming and just having fun.

*Christians' POV*

Tristan was yelling for his dad, but Pat was downstairs so I went and brought him to my brother and just let him sit there with him. I saw all the alcohol they had and wished I could've had some with them. I walked upstairs to grab my phone and went outside by the pool. I got a text from Brayden, a close friend of mine back in Georgia, He said he wanted to talk with me about Brielle. I texted him back and he said she got in a really bad car accident and that she's in the ICU. I was hoping that I read the text wrong, when I read it over about 80 times I realized that I didn't read it wrong. I started to cry and texted him back asking what hospital and which room. I went to go get my brother, but when I turned around I saw Jon, I wiped the tears out of my face and walked past him to get my brother.

*With Patrick*

"Pat. Patrick wake up." Christian said shaking his brother
"What?" Pat mumbled, he rubbed his eyes and saw his brother crying, "What's wrong? Are you ok?"
"No, I need to go back to Georgia. Please?" Christian said crying
Patrick sat up, "Tell me what's wrong?"
"My girlfriend in Georgia got in a really bad car accident. She's in the hospital, I need to go see her!" Christian said
Shaw, Bickell, Seabs, Tazer, and Crawford were now sitting around looking at Christian.
"Bud we have a circus trip coming up in 6 days. We don't have time to go to Georgia." Crawford said
"I need to go! She is my Girlfriend. I'm not going to stay here while she's in the ICU." Christian cried.
"Alright calm down. I'll talk with Jackie today, we'll see what she says and if she's ok with you staying with her for awhile, then we can bring you down to Georgia. If not, then you're going to have to stay with us." Patrick said
"I need to go. Please Patrick?" Christian begged
"Christian he said he'd try." Jon butted in
Christian gave him a death glare, "Stay out of this Jonathan."
"Hey be nice. I need to take care of T right now, go try to relax or something." Pat said standing up.
"I'm going for a walk. Don't call me because I won't answer." Christian said before he walked out of Sharpies house.
"Want me to go after him?" Sharp asked
"I'll go. I need to talk with him anyways." Jon said as he grabbed a pair of pants and left.

*With Christian and Jon*

Jon ran to catch up to Christian, "Hey can we talk?"
Christian looked up at him and kept walking, "I don't feel like talking right now." He said in a rasp voice.
"How about I talk and you listen?" Jon suggested
Christian didn't say anything so Jon started talking, "I'm sorry for punching you last night. I really didn't mean to, something just triggered in me, it was wrong and I know that. I can't make up for it in anyway and I'm aware of that, but I just want you to know I'm sincerely sorry. Now about this Brielle girl, is she you're bitch, friend, fuckbuddy?"
Christian stopped walking and yelled, "Shut up! She isn't my fuck buddy! She is my girlfriend and my best friend! I love her to death. She isn't just some girl, she means the world to me but none of you guys give a shit!"
"Calm down." Jon said
"Don't tell me to calm down when you're insulting the girl I love and care about." Christian said, "Why did you follow me anyways? To piss me off? Congrats it worked, now leave me alone."
"I wanted to make sure you were ok. I care about you." Jon said

Christian stopped walking and started to cry. Jon picked him up from out of the middle of the street and walked over to the side walk. He kneeled next to Christian and hugged him, he didn't say anything. Jon ended up texting Shaw to drive to where they were at and come pick them up. When Shaw showed up Christian was still sitting on the ground and Andrew got out of the car and walked over to him.

"Christian are you ok little man?" Andrew asked worried
"I really don't want to talk about it." Christian said with almost no voice
"He'll be alright." Jon said standing up with Christian and walking to the car, "Can you drive us to Mine and Kaners place and just have him meet us back there?" Jon asked
"Yeah sure." Andrew said.

Jon and Andrew kept checking on Christian, but every time they looked he was texting someone. They figured it was about how Brielle was doing. Andrew pulled up to the Trump Tower, a bunch of media were there recording and asking why Christian was crying and what happened to his cheek. Jon and Andrew tried to cover him the best they could and got inside and head up to their room.
Once they got into their room, Christian walked over to the couch and just laid face down. He wanted to cry, but there were no more tears left.

"Christian what if I go with you to see your girlfriend in Georgia? I'd stay at a hotel with you, and drive you to go see her." Jon suggested
"You have a circus trip coming up, you can't. Thanks for the offer though." Christian said, "Hey I'm going to go hangout with Sam and a few other friends. Tell Patrick I'll be home before 2 in the morning. Thanks."
Shaw grabbed his arm, "I don't think that's a good idea Christian."
"Yeah you're going to end up drinking or doing drugs or something. Stay here." Jon agreed
"Sam's downstairs waiting for me. I'll come home when I'm done with our football tournament. Night." Christian lied and he shut the door.
