Changes

After multiple weeks of shopping and moving we finally have moved into our new place. Gladly the boys and our families all helped us move. Now the unpacking starts which I'm telling you isn't the greatest. We unpacked our clothes and products into our room. We put some decorations in the bedroom and guest room so those were done. The bad news is that only those two rooms took 1 day! We didn't know what to do for dinner so we ordered chinese and used boxes as tables and seats like they do in the movies. It was alright and all but I was so frustrated I just wanted all these boxes out!

*Week later*

Another week passed and all of our boxes are gone! So happy we are all unpacked it was such a mess. Morgan said he was meeting up with Jake for lunch so he was going out but he was out for 5 hours. I was kind of worried but he arrived home fine. I asked what took him so long and he used the "catching up" excuse. I wasn't too sure if Jake was talking to him about someone because when the boys have long talks its about issues and I know Jake has some girls in his life. I just hope that whole Amy phase is over. I hate when people don't let their partner breathe so I don't really care if he spends the day with the boys I just get worried something bad happened so I check up on him. He walked in with papers and went to the room where we have two desks with our laptops and my school stuff. He got into sweatpants and a plain white v-neck and went into there, closed the door and stayed in there for a few hours. I got curious so around 7:30 I knocked asking what he wanted for dinner. He changed another tab on his laptop and turned his spiney chair to face me.

"Uh maybe we can order pizza?" he suggested.

"No." I whined, "I'm sick of take out. Want me to make some pasta?"

"Sounds good. Thanks babe. I would help but I'm really busy."

"Don't worry about it. Not to be nosy but is everything okay?"

He stood up and walked over to me, "You're my girl, you're allowed to be nosy." he said gentily grabbing my face and kissing my forehead then walking out to get his cell from the living room table.

I started cooking and he remained to stay in that room. I set the table and called him to the dinner. We ate and he talked about how Jake was having some problems with this new girl.

"But see the thing is that he wouldn't tell me who this mystery girl is!" Morgan complained.

"Give him time." I said playing with the pasta with my fork, "Do you think it's Amy?"

"For his sake I hope it is. She seemed real nice towards him and was nice to me."

I sighed, "Listen I don't like her. I didn't tell you but when her and Joanne arrived to the game when we first met her, she was saying how hot you are and how she is planning to use Jake to get to you, then I scared her off. She is such a puck bunny! Joanne tried to get with Dion and then said what a waste of a jersey. Like seriously?"

"Calm down." He laughed.

"So I don't want this girl to be her."

"I understand." He stood up and brought his plate and cup to the kitchen then returned and took mine. "I'll be in the office room."

"Office room?" I joked.

"Whatever!" He said in the sassiest voice he could and shut the door behind him.

I smiled at his dedication but to what? I wanted to know but I just watched TV. The other night the Kings won the cup so I tuned into TSN to watch some talk about them. Not too long ago we found out that Nonis decided to put Morgan along with Tyler, Phil and Jonathan as the "untouchables". So Morgan isn't too worried about moving but he always looks into rumors to see where his buddies are going. After a few hours of watching TV I headed to bed since I was really tired. I knocked on the door and yelled good night and washed up then drifted into a deep sleep.
