Changes

I woke up and rolled over to see the time on my phone. Sun blazed lightly into the curtains of the window lightly. I hopped out of the bed since I thought seven was a pretty decent time to be getting up since they probably had a morning skate or meeting. I headed to the washroom to wash-up and fix my hair. When I came out of the washroom there was nobody awake so I decided to make breakfast for the guys. I found nothing but a few eggs, and pancake mix. I decided to make some pancakes and give them something healthy and what is more healthy than sun-side up eggs? When I was just setting the food on their table, Jake stepped out into the living room slowly. He looked half asleep.
“Mackenzie what are you doing?” He said rubbing his eyes.
I put the milk and few eggs that were left back in the fridge “Oh I was just making you guys and myself some breakfast sorry did I wake you?”
“No no not at all my alarm went off a little earlier than when I wanted it to go off.” He said stumbling near the kitchen counter.
“Well want some breakfast?” moving the plate of food back and forth to try to make it look more appetizing then it probably is because I never really was that good of a cook.
“Uh sure want me to wake up Mo?” He asked as he sat down in front of the plate full of food.
I wiped my hands on a little towel they had beside the sink “I can but uh which room is his?”
“Closest to the washroom.” he got up and got the syrup out of the cabinet “My door is open and his is closed you will find it easily.”
I opened the door to see Morgan sleeping all cuddled up in a Toronto Maple Leaf sweater. He looked so adorable I wanted to go snuggle up beside him. I walked up to him and brushed sat on the side of his bed.
“Wake up.” I brushed his cheek with the back of my fingers “Breakfast is ready bud.”
He opened his eyes and blinked a few times “What?”
I giggled because of his confusion “Good morning.” I smiled slightly.
“Jake made breakfast? That’s a first. He is probably just trying to impress you.” He said laughing a bit.
“Uh I actually made it.” I got up off the bed as Morgan rolled off the other end.
“You did? What did I tell you? I’m the host you shouldn’t of. You’re the best.” He said taking off his sweater and looking through his dresser.
I just stood there silent. His body was amazing. He is so fit I was stunned well not that stunned considering he was a hockey player.
He turned around and looked at me “What’s the matter?”
“Um nothing you’re just so” I couldn’t finish my sentence so I just started talking about Jake “I’m going to go check on Jake don’t be so long.”
I scurried out of his room and headed towards the kitchen. I went to the sink and washed the rest of the pans and stuff I used.
Jake just finished eating and walked in front of the island sink and stared into my eyes “Why don’t you go eat and I’ll take care of it.”
“I can finish it myself don’t worry just give me your plate.” I smiled at him “I’ll eat later I’m not hungry right now.”
“Did something happen in there you seem different?” He asked as he raised his eyebrow at me placing his plate beside the sink.
I bit my lip as I grabbed Jake’s plate “No I just woke him up he should be-“
“Morning guys! What is that I smell?” Morgan cut me off.
Jake turned to me and whispered “I’ll finish talking to you later girl.”
“Hello and why are you doing the dishes?” Morgan said as he looked with an angry look at Jake.
“Hey, what are you looking at me for? I offered to do them.” Jake shouted back at Morgan from the couch.
“He did don’t worry. Just go eat and I’ll join you as soon as I finish this plate.” I told him as I rinsed the final dish.
I walked over to the table and I sat beside him. I tasted the food and it wasn’t that bad thankfully. We ate in a bit of silence. The only really sounds were our laughs at Jake when he was making little comments at the commercials.
Morgan looked at my shirt well, his shirt and sighed “Now I don’t think you would be able to live off of my clothes. So why don’t we stop by uh your old place.” I nodded chewing the food in my mouth. “We can go tomorrow since I am busy today is that alright?” he added.
Morgan stood up and grabbed our plates and placed them in the sink. I got out of my seat and went to go talk to Morgan but I heard the sports center theme song so I turned around and sprinted towards the couch as I sat beside Jake.
“Somebody is a little over excited.” Jake said under his breath.
I rolled my eyes “Maybe I’m really into sports. I wanted to see if any new news about my team and there game tonight.
“You like sports? I never knew! I actually play a sport.” Jake said as he put his arm around me.
“Okay arms off for starters.” I said removing his arm from my neck.
“So what’s your favourite team? You know the one you were talking about?”
“Only the best team in the NHL sweets.”
When the show finished, I stood up and walked to my room to get my purse and put on my clothes from yesterday. I came back to find both boys gone. I assumed they were getting ready so I just sat on the couch and watched TV. Not too long after, Morgan stepped out in a suit. He looked so good it was actually breath taking. I’ve seen pictures of him with a suit on before but seeing him in person was just amazing.
“Oh Morgan! Can I ask you something? Where is the closest clothing store from here?” I asked with hope that he would know.
“Oh I’m sorry Mack but the closest one is like half an hour away. I don’t want you walking in this cold weather. Why don’t you come with me?” He offered.
I bit my lip. I usually do that when I’m thinking “Uh sure. To your work?”
“Yeah they won’t mind at all. You will enjoy it.” He then shouted to Jake “Jake let’s go!”
“I’m here I’m here don’t worry did you start the car it’s suppose to be freezing out there.” Jake said grabbing his coat.
“I’m not stupid and let’s go the roads are bad. Mackenzie is coming to work with us.” He said opening the door of their apartment.
We walked to the elevator and we got into the elevator then Jake turned to me “So best team in the NHL, eh?”
I nodded looking down at my shoes. Do they know that well, I know who they are?
Morgan raised his eyebrows “Well which team is exactly the best?”
I sighed and turned to face both of them “Gardiner... Rielly… you really think that I’m living in Toronto not being a Leafs fan?”
They just stood silent. Should I have not said that?
“Well now that you know who we are, maybe you know where we are going!” Morgan said smiling.
“I have an idea.” I laughed and winked at him as we stepped out of the elevator.

So Mackenzie has told the boys that she knows who they are! Can't wait to see what happens with her going to work with them ;)
