James’ POV:
2am…shot after shot later…beer after vodka after tequilla later…I stumbled out of Paul’s car. Paul put the car in park and came to my side, “I told you that you had too much…” he told me
I groaned…Paul was right…yet again I had over done it on the alcohol, “I know…”
“Dude…why did you break up with her if you didn’t want to…”
“Because I had to, Paul…” I started
“Why?”
“Because she wasn’t happy with me. You know how I know that? Because that’s why you cheat on someone, Paul…you’re un-happy with them…That’s why I cheated on Jenny and that’s why Allison cheated on me…Things happened too fast with her…I just…if it didn’t end…it would have been a lot worse…”
Paul looked at me like I was crazy, “What?”
“I’d rather her hate me for dumping her…than her hating me for actually staying with her and possibly even marrying her…and then leaving her…we just weren’t right for each other, OK?”
“Okay…do you need help to bed?”
I shook my head ‘no’ and went inside. I grabbed a towel and went to the shower, I leaned my head against the shower wall and sighed. I fucked up and I knew it…no matter what I said to justify breaking up with Allison…the more I knew I was wrong. I had overreacted…I had fucked up.
I quickly dried off and got dressed and headed off to Allison’s…
Allison’s POV:
I finished my suitcase and sat on my bed, sobbing. I knew James was hurt…but I hadn’t expected him to dump me…I didn’t blame him for it, but it was unexpected.
I sighed and pulled my bag over, heading outside. I wrote Melanie a quick note and I left. I saw it was raining, so I pulled my hood up. The rain poured down on me as I put my suitcase in the car and closed the door. I sighed and headed to the drivers side.
“Allison!” James called to me, running towards me
“What the fuck do you want, James? To tell me how much of a slut I am? To say how much you fucking hate me?”
“No. I came here to tell you that I’m stupid. I overreacted. I fucked up. I love you, Allison.” he said kissing me
I pulled him close and kissed him back, “I love you, too, James…I’m sorry.”
James picked me up and carried me back into the apartment, kissing me again. I ran my fingers through his hair and kissed back.
James smiled at me and unzipped my jacket. I smiled back at him pulling his hoodie off. I nodded towards the bedroom and he smirked, picking me up again and taking me into the room.
We fell on the bed together and continued kissing and slowly undressing each other. I kissed his neck and he moaned into my hair. I smiled at him and kissed his lips, “James?”
“Mhm?”
“Does this mean…” I started
“Yes. We’re back together…well if you still want to be with me…”
I nodded, “Yes…I do.”
He smiled at me, flipped me onto my back and entered me. I moaned and dug my nails into his back. “James…” I breathed
James thrust himself into me, first slowly, then harder and faster. The more I moaned, the more he did. He licked up my neck slowly and pulled out, pulling me up on all fours and entering me from behind. It felt so good to have him inside me again and I wanted this night to go on forever...
