Chapter Fifty Two

-Julie-

"Oh this is so cool!" Josh squealed as we adjusted our life jackets and looked out at the water.

"I've never done this before," I said and Sidney smiled and held my hand.

"It's be fun," he said and then kissed my hand, "I promise."

There were only a few of us, but we all had our life jackets on, because we were about to go into the ocean and get the chance to swim with some dolphins. There was the three of us, Matt Cooke and his wife and two kids, and then Craig Adams and his wife and son. Marc and Vero were there, but didn't want to go into the water, so Vero offered to take pictures for us.

We walked into the water and the trainer people said that there were six dolphins and that we would be able to pet and ride them. I was so excited and nervous; Sidney laughed at me and held my hand as we walked into the water and then scream, but then laughed when I felt a fish touch my leg.

"Don't be a baby," he teased and I stuck my tongue out at him and we laughed.

When I was up to my waist, I felt Josh hanging onto me, because he was barely touching the ground. The instructor told us to tap our hands against the water, and in seconds, a dolphin popped his head up, and I was a little taken back.

"It's all right," Sidney smiled and then placed his hand on the dolphin's back.

"Look Josh!" I smiled as Josh held out his hand and touched the dolphin's nose.

At one point we had three of them around us, and Josh laughed as the one popped up in front of him and splashed him with water. Josh grabbed onto the dolphin's fin and then went for a little ride. I laughed and then felt one bump my back and I turned around to see that the one was standing up straight. I smiled and then glided my hand along it back and smiled brightly. I heard Sidney laughing and turned around to see that he and Josh were riding a dolphin.

"Come on, Julie!" Sidney said and I smiled and then grabbed onto the dolphin's fin and felt it move forward, not believing on how fast it was going.

-Sidney-

We had been with the dolphin's for about an hour, and it was time for us to leave. I was happy to see that Josh and Julie had a fun time, and Josh was still laughing about his time with them. We walked along the beach with Craig and Matt, and their families. It was getting late, and we needed to make our way back to the ship.

As we arrived, I ended up carrying Josh, because he was falling asleep on the bus ride back to the dock. Julie and I walked into the room that he and the boys were staying in and laid him down on the bottom bunk that he was staying in.

"Night, baby," Julie said as she kissed his head and then walked out of the room.

I smiled towards him and then headed out of the room, seeing Craig walking in carrying both of his sleeping kids. I laughed and then walked across the hall into my room and see Julie collapsing onto the bed. I laughed and then walked over towards her and ran my hand up her back, feeling her shiver under my touch.

"So did you have fun today?" I asked and then watched as Julie rolled over and smiled towards me.

"I did, thank you," she said and then stood up and walked over towards me.

"Anything," I breathed as she stood in front of me and I felt her hands on my chest.

I smirked and then placed a hand on her cheek and pressed my lips against hers. I moved my hand to her neck and wrapped my other arm around her waist and pulled her closer. She grinded her hips into me as I felt her hands snake up my chest and finding her fingers tangling themselves into my hair. I groaned as I packed her up to the bed and then pulled her onto the bed.

Julie was laughing as we went down onto the bed and I smirked towards her and pulled her into my side. I kissed her forehead and she laid her head onto my shoulder.

"Does it still hurt?" I asked as I eyed the very fresh scar that was on her thigh.

"No," she muttered and then shivered when my fingers ran over it, "Well, sometimes, when I wake up from a nightmare, it burns a little."

"You still have the nightmares?" I asked and she sighed and nodded her head, "When was the last one?"

"About two weeks ago," she muttered and I growled and turned onto my side.

"I'm never gunna let that happen to you again," I said as I stared at her seeing the frightened look in her eyes, "Do you hear me? Never, you've gone through too much, and you're too good of a person to have shit like this happen to you."

"Thank you," Julie said and I laced my fingers with hers and brought her hand up to my lips.

"I love you, Julie."

"I love you too," she smiled brightly and I pressed my lips against hers and felt her push my onto my back, and she climbed on top of me.

"Oh, we're going here again," I laughed and she smiled and then slid her hands down my chest and to the hem of my t-shirt.

I sat up and lifted my arms up as she pulled the shirt over my head. I laughed as she tugged at my shorts and then leaned down and pressed her lips onto my stomach and I groaned when her hands ran down my sides. There was a knock at the door and I growled and then looked at Julie and sighed.

"I'll get it," she said and then started to get up, but I placed my hand in front of her and walked over towards the door. I opened the door to see that Vero was standing there with a smirk on her face, "Oh no, you're not taking her, Vero! The last time you kidnapped her, I didn't see her all day!"

"Oh quit your whining," she said and then walked right passed me.

'...Really?...' I thought as I smirked and shook my head, '...You definitely got your hands full with her, Flower...'

"Julie, I wanted you to look at these pictures!" Vero said as she walked over towards my laptop and plugged a memory stick.

I sighed in defeat and then closed the door and walked over towards the girls and sat down behind them. Vero was going through all of the pictures that she took when we were on the second island on our vacation and then picked out all the ones that had Julie, Josh and I in them.

“I’m going to make a file and put them onto your laptop, all right?” Vero asked and I nodded my head.

There was another knock on the door and I opened it to see Geno standing there looking tired, “Alex still keeping you up?” I asked, talking about Kris’ son.

“Yes,” he said plainly and then walked into the room and laid on the bed next to Julie, where I was once sitting.

“Hiya sweetie, still not able to sleep?” Julie asked as she placed her hand on Geno’s back.

“No.”

“Are you talking about Kris’ baby?” Vero asked and I nodded my head, “Marc and I moved rooms because we couldn’t sleep because of him.”

“He just won’t stop crying?” Julie asked and Vero nodded her head, “Is he crying now, Geno?”

“Yes,” Geno said tiredly.

“Let me see if I can help somehow,” Julie said and I watched she stood up and walked over towards me, “I’ll be back,” she said and then kissed my cheek and walked out of the room.

-Julie-

I knocked on Kris’ door, able to hear the baby crying from down the hall. The door swung opened and a miserable looking Kris stood there.

“Look, I know he’s-“ I held up my hand and walked passed him and towards Catherine who was trying to make their baby stop crying.

“How old is he?” I asked while smiling towards the baby, because he was cute.

“Eight months,” Catherine said and I held out my hands, asking if I could hold him, “I’ll try anything.”

“Hi buddy,” I cooed as I sat him on my hip and turned to see Kris staring, “What are you crying for?”

“He’s been doing it for two days,” Kris said and I nodded my head, “I know Geno and James are getting frustrated.”

“And Marc and Vero switched rooms,” Catherine said and I sighed, “I feel so bad, but I don’t know what to do.”

“Josh use to cry all the time, I use to get extreme headaches,” I said and Kris held up a big bottle of Advil.

“Already there,” he muttered and I gave him a soft smile, “What did you do to calm him down?”

“I would take him for a car ride, but we can’t do that,” I laughed and then started to bounce Alex on my hip and smile towards him, trying to calm him down, “Did you try to feed him?”

“Feed him, burp him, change clothes, bathes, everything! I just can’t get him to stop,” Catherine said and then sat on the bed and held her face, “I’m so tired.”

“What else did you do?” Kris asked and I looked at him.

“Give me your hoodie,” I said and he looked at me confused, “Come on.”

“All right,” he said and then unzipped his hoodie and handed it to me.

“Josh use to cry because, what I thought, was that he felt lonely,” I said and laid Alex on the bed and then wrapped Kris’ hoodie around him, “I use to wrap the hoodie, or jacket, anything around Josh and he would stop crying within a minute.”

I picked Alex up and held him close, bouncing him lightly and seeing that his crying was starting to go down. I smiled when, his crying actually stopped and he fell asleep.

“How-“

“Who cares, he stopped,” Catherine said as she stood up and walked over towards me.

“He felt lonely, and the warm hoodie of someone he knows makes him feel safe,” I said and then handed Alex over towards Catherina, “Let me know if you need anything else.”

“Thank you, Julie,” Kris said and I smiled and nodded my head, leaving the room and heading back down towards my room.
