It had been two months since I slept with Sidney, and one month since we became official. We talked every second we could and became so much closer. "Wait, so you two are actually together?! That's great! We have to go on a double date sometime!" Said Jordan. "What? Who's your boyfriend? I asked confused. "None other than Matt Niskanen." Jordan said with a smirk on her face. "Two days can really make a difference, huh Jordan?" "Hell yeah!
Jordan and I were enjoying some girl time while our boyfriends and my cousin were at practice this morning. We went out to lunch at a Panera Bread here in the middle of Pittsburgh. "Hey J, can I tell you something? I asked Jordan. "Anything, chicka." "It's like... Really serious though." "Hey, you can tell me anything. I'm your best friend, Ky!" "Ok..." Here goes nothing! "I missed my period yesterday." "So? It's probably just coming late. Why the hell are you telling me this?" Jordan said humorously. "And the day before that, I had sex with Sidney." "YOU SLEPT WITH-..." "SHHH! Be quiet Jordan!!" "Sorry. Oh my god Kylie. You don't think you could actually be pregnant with Sidney Crosby's baby, do you?!?!" "I don't know, that's why I want you to come over to Sid's place while he's still at practice and be with me to take a pregnancy test. Will you come?" "Of course I will Ky. And whatever happens, it'll be okay. I'll stand by your side no matter what. I love ya Kylie!" "Love you too Jordan! Thanks for coming." "No problem, sis. Now what are we waiting for? Let's go!
At Sidney's house:
"Ok, let's go upstairs to the guest bedroom and bathroom and do it there." "Got it." Said Jordan. "You have no clue how nervous I am. What the fuck do I do if I am pregnant?!" "We can worry about that when we know for sure you are." "K."
17 tests later:
"So! What does it say?!?!" Jordan asked nervously. "All 17 of them said positive." In that moment I sat down on the bed beside Jordan and bursted out crying. "Kylie! It will be okay! Think on the bright side! You're gonna be a mom! And the father is Sidney Crosby!" "Sidney!!!!" I said loudly while still crying because I had no idea how I was going to tell him this. "Hey Ky, remember when James' sister came over to your house with her son while Sidney was there playing with James when we were kids?" "Yeah... Rebecca..?" "Rebecca. Sid was like 12. Didn't you see how good he was with kids?" "Jordan that was like 14 years ago. he's 26 now. People can change." "But Sid loved you when he was 12, also. Sid loves you now. You're right people can change. But Sid will always love you and do whatever it takes to make you happy. I promise you everything will be alright. Love you, Ky." "Love you, J. You really do know how to make a girl feel better." We both smiled and laughed. I heard the door open and immediately knew it was Sidney. "Go kick some ass, Ky. Love ya! Jordan smiled and hugged me. We both stood up and walked downstairs. He saw me first, and said "Kylie! I missed you babe!" He walked up and hugged me and gave me a kiss on the cheek. He saw Jordan coming down too and said "Hey Jordan." He gave her a hug too. "Well, I'm pretty sure you two have some chit chatting to do! Bye Ky, good luck. Love you! Bye Sid." We all hugged and Jordan left. "Why was Jordan here?" Sid asked confused. "Um.. I needed her help with something. And now I need you help too." I took his hand and we walked to the couch. We sat across from each other still holding hands. "Sid?" "Yeah babe?" "Uh..."
