The First Time
Part One; Because You're a Fan
Applying the last bit of your mascara, you were interupted by the sound of your apartment door knocking. Setting the bottle down, you walked over to the door to be greated by Tyler. Tyler was the guy you ran into while you were grabbing a bite to eat at some family owned chain Chinese food. Picking up what you thought was your order, you went and grabbed the white take out box from the counter, to be surprised at the feel of your hand hit someone else's. Turning to your right, you came face to face with the guy you would talk about with your friends, explaining your sexual attraction about him. Tyler Seguin, number 91 for the Dallas Stars. As your eyes grew wide and the inflaiming feeling of butterflies in your stomach becoming overbaring, he pushed his eyebrows together and shot you a smirk that could send you off to cloud nine.
"Whoa, uh sorry I ordered the chicken balls and fried egg noodles. I thought that's what he called out." He explained, referring to the Chinese man with the heavy accent.
"No, no. He did, I ordered the same thing actually. It's fine i'll just wait for the other one then." You reassured him as you felt a slight blush tint your cheeks but not enough to make you lose your cool.
Shooting a look at the orders being shot out, none being yours, he sighed and shook his head. "Don't worry about it, you can have it." Giving you a soft smile, you felt the need to bite your lip as you didn't want to alarm him with too much of a toothy grin.
"Thank you." And with that you grabbed a pair of chop sticks and walked off to an empty table, after giving him a small grin.
As you sat down, you let a long sigh leave your mouth as you grabbed your phone from your pocket to tell your friends about what had just happened. In the middle of typing to your friend, Faith, you were taken out of your trace by a male's cough. Shooting your head up, you were face t face again with Tyler. "Did I do something?", you asked yourself as he smiled widely.
"Mind if I sit with you, there's no other empty tables.." He started as you nodded quickly, before he even finished. "Yeah, yeah, sure."
Sitting down and opening his box, he grabbed his fork and looked up at you. "So, what's your name?" He asked as you smiled to yourself while looking down at your food.
"Autumn." You said softly as he opened his mouth to continue. "I'm Ty-." "I know who you are.." You laughed softly, playing with your food. "I'm a hockey fan." You simply told him as his face lit up, laughing awkwardly.
"Oh, that's cool! What teams do you follow?" He asked as you took a bite of your food. "Pens and Stars, actually." You told him, as he nodded in amusement. "Ah, so you're a fan of me I guess, eh?" He joked, shooting you a wink as you felt your heart fall onto the floor of the Eaton Center food court.
"Yeah, I guess so." You spoke confidentially as you smirked at him, making him laugh solemly to himself.
"So if I asked you to go for dinner tonight, where I don't steal your food again, would you be down for it considering you're a fan." He laughed again as you bit your lip, holding back a wide smile.
"Yeah I would, but only because I'm a fan." You then sent him a wink as you both laughed and finished your lunches. Standing up to gather each other's garbage, he took out his phone and handed it to you. "Autumn, here put your number in." He told you, as you nodded, doing so. Handing the phone back to him, he smiled as he slid it back in his pocket. "I'll text you later for your address, but I'll pick you up at 7."
"Sounds good." You told him, as he nodded, shooting you a smile. "See you soon, Autumn." And with that, he walked off to the escalators as you grabbed your phone again, having to tell your friends about it.
As you opened the door that night to reveal Tyler, you were not only met with his charming smirk or his twinkling eyes, no, you were met with him in a black v-neck top with a black blazer on top, the arms noticablly too big for the coat, as his muscles being shown made your mouth water. His pants were a pair of dark wash jeans which clung to his legs perfectly, his thighs tugging on the material. Feeling weak already, you let a soft sigh roll off your lips as he laughed, eyeing you up and down. You were wearing a plain black dress which was tight around your chest, but flowed out softly at the waist and reached just above your knee. Your hair was curled at the ends, as you wore minimal make up. Your look was complete with a shiny red pair of heels. As you two made eye contact again, he smiled wider at you.
"You look, amazing." He said as you smiled, nodding. "As do you." Laughing softly, you grabbed your light fabric black jacket and shut the door behind you, as you two made way down the hall.
Hopping into Tyler's black Range Rover, he held your hand so you could ease into the seat as he then ran over to his side. Putting your seat belts on, you looked up to see Tyler turning the key followed by a smirk as he looked back at you. "Tonight's gonna be fun." And with that, you two made your way into the busy Toronto street.
