Olympic Break

The End

"Everything ready?" Evgeni asked as he walked down the stairs.
He was only in his boxers since he had just woke up. He tugged at his hair as he reached the bottom of them. Victoria was currently vacuuming the house. They were having people over for their engagement party and she was freaking out about how perfect the house needed to be. G didn't understand why since it was all of their close friends. Well almost any hockey player you could think of and their dates, plus their close friends.
She looked up at him. She glared, rolling her eyes as she continued. He sighed, walking to where the vacuum was plugged in. He pulled it out of the socket. Victoria growled, spinning around.
"Really?" She hissed, stomping over to him.
He held the cord above his head. She rolled her eyes before she stomped away. He tossed the cord and followed behind. She was resting her elbows on the island with her head in her hands. Geno walked over and wrapped his arms around her waist. He placed his chin on her shoulder. She let out a long sigh.
"Tor, relax. Friends don't come for clean. Friends come for us." He mumbled.
Jeffery barked as he ran over to the pair. He hopped up but G shoved him down. He let go of Victoria to pet his dog. She turned at looked at the pair. She frowned at Jeffery.
Jeff can't stay tonight, babe."
"He stay upstairs." Geno pouted, holding Jeffery's face up to his. "We leave on TV and he watch like human."
Victoria laughed. "Fine." She said. "Only because you're both cute."
Evgeni stood up and stepped into her. Their chest pressed as he looked down and she looked up. He smiled before kissing her.
"I love you." He told her.
"I love you too." She smiled up at him.
Their lips attached again for a brief moment. The moment was ruined by the ringing of Victoria's phone. She growled, squeezing her eyes shut. She leaned her head against Geno as she brought her phone to her ear.
"Hello?"
"Tor," Autumn whined.
"What?" She opened her eyes, concern at her friend's tone.
"I have a problem..." Autumn admitted.
Victoria stood up straight. G looked down at her with his brows furrowed. She held her hand out to him.
"What'd you break, Autumn?" She sighed.
"All the trust I ever had in her!" Faith's voice was faint.
There was shuffling. "She got us lost in the middle of fucking Russia!" Keirstyn yelled.
"What? What gave you the idea that that wouldn't happen?" Victoria shook her head.
"She said she was 'sure' of how to get to where we needed to go to get your gift. We walked for, like, two fucking hours and we're near nothing!" Keirstyn explained.
"Aw, Autumn went into the depths of Russia to find me a gift? That's so sweet."
"Victoria, please!" Keirstyn groaned.
"'Depth of Russia'? That no sound good. Girls okay?" Evgeni asked.
"I don't know. Tell them how to get back to their hotel. I'm going to shower." Victoria handed her phone to him, pecking his lips.
After Geno explained to the girls that their best bet was to get someone to pick them up, Autumn texted Jeff to tell them she had gotten Faith stranded and he was out there, in a cab, within the hour. Keirstyn climbed up front with the cab driver. Jeff sat between Faith and Autumn so Autumn could live another day.
They got to the hotel. Autumn went to her and Sid's room, expecting to find the sleeping boy she had left. She walked over to the bed, rambling on about the trip, to see the bed empty. Not even a text? She growled, dropping into her bed. Sidney was always there one minute, gone the next. She hates it, but loved the guy. She rolled onto her stomach, scrolling through her phone. Her door flew open and Jordan walked in with Jake trailing behind. She shook her head at Autumn, who looked pathetic, moping on her bed.
"He had to go do some interviews and shit." She plopped beside her. "Captain duties."
"He should quit. I need more attention." Autumn sighed. "
I think you need to let him do all this. If you don't stress him out, he'll just distance himself more." Jake added.
Autumn frowned up at him. He shrugged at her, tucking his hands in his pockets. She groaned, shoving her face into the bed. Jordan rubbed her back.
Once they finished counselling Autumn, the couple went back to their room. They got ready for the party they'd be attending that night. Jake almost passed out when Jordan walked out in a cream coloured, v-neck, skater dress. It stopped at her mid-thigh.
She looked up at him. He was staring at him with his jaw dropped. His eyes trailed her body up to his face. Her hair sat in loose curls around her waist. She felt her cheeks burning when their eyes met.
"We're not going. I need that off you you now." He said, placing his hands just below the hem. "Getting all dressed up."
She chuckled, shoving him back. "We have to make an appearance. They're my friends." She explained. "And I just felt like finally debuting the new dress I bought."
"The second we walk in this door, it's off." He demanded.
She rolled her eyes, pushing him away. He grabbed her hand and kissed the top of it. She tapped his cheek with it. He pretend to be hurt, gasping. She shook her head as she finished getting ready.
They walked out of their room and spotted Patrick and Kenzie coming out of theirs. Kenzie gave Jordan a small smile as she walked past them. Jake and Patrick did some weird hand shake. Jordan furrowed her brows at Kenzie who just shook her head.
Kenzie frowned at the dress Jordan was wearing as she walked down the hall. She thought it was so cute, and then she question if she was under-dressed. She looked up at Pat with the frown on her face. He copied her expression. She sighed, sliding her arms around his waist.
"Do I look lame? Like, do I need to dress fancier for tonight?" She asked as his arms wrapped around her shoulders.
"No, it's Geno." Pat scoffed. "I can guarantee he's gonna wear jeans and have a sweater unzipped to his mid chest."
Kenzie laughed. "Jordan was just so,"
"Yeah, maybe Jordan wanted to wear that, huh?" Pat teased.
"Maybe I wanna put on a nice dress." Kenzie argued.
"Do it. It'll be easier to get off." He mumbled as he kissed her neck.
"Patrick Timothy!" She growled, whacking his chest.
"Babe, I'm playing." He whined.
She shook her head as she walked away. He trailed behind. They met with Jon, Stephanie, and Autumn in the lobby. Jon and Stephanie were all touchy-feely while Autumn sat in a chair, playing on her phone. Pat and Kenzie looked at each other, both wondering why she was alone.
The five piled into a cab. Autumn sat in the front seat while the other four were in the back. Pat leaned back to talk to Jon.
"Where's Sid?" He whispered.
"Doing captain shit." Jon shrugged. "Not that you know what that's like."
Pat glared at the smirking Jon. "Neither do you! You're the shittiest captain in the league!"
"I touched a nerve." Jon cackled.
Patrick turned back around, sick of Jon. Autumn flipped the overhead down. Pat could see her glaring into the back through it. He stared right back. She widened her eyes and he copied. She put them to normal size, still glaring at him.
"Why so miserable?" Pat pouted.
She shrugged. She wasn't miserable. She just felt awkward. Fifth wheeling wasn't something she did much anymore. She was always with Jordan and Jake when her and Sid weren't together, but they didn't make her feel like an extra. She had just missed them when they left so now she was stuck with Dumb and Dumber and their girlfriends "
She went from steady fucking to getting ditched in the morning." Jon commented about Sidney.
"Amazing. You figured it out." She rolled her eyes.
"You're no fun." Jon huffed.
"You're annoying." She shot back.
The rest of the drive was silent. When they arrived at Geno's, Patrick pulled out a wad of cash and paid the driver. Kenzie shook her head at him. Autumn and Stephanie laughed as they climbed out. Jon said something along the lines of 'if you got it, flaunt it'. Pat leaned into Kenzie.
"Told you he'd be wearing that." He pointed at Geno.
Stephanie greeted Victoria and G, as well as everyone else. She gave smiles to everyone she passed as she made a b-line for the alcohol. She stood by herself for a while. Jon spotted her. They locked eyes through the crowd of people. He cocked a brow at her. She gestured for him to come over with a single finger. He excused himself from the conversation he was in and walked over. She smiled at him as he pecked her lips. He lingered for a minute.
"Does a drunk Stephanie mean a pleased Jon?" He asked.
She shrugged, sipping from her wine glass. She turned away from him to look at everyone arriving. She saw Keirstyn, Beau, and Autumn. She turned back to Jon. He was watching her.
"Wanna go talk with Keirstyn and Beau?" She asked, sliding her free arm around his waist.
He placed his hand on the small of her back. "No, babe. I'm gonna go talk to Pat. Find me when you're done talking." He said, pecking her lips.
Jon looked over to the crowd gathering around where Stephanie was about to head. He spotted James Neal. No problem with the guy, except he was a dirty flirt. "If Neal makes a pass, you find me." Jon growled.
Steph giggled. "I'll be okay. Go chat." She pushed up on her toes, kissing Jon once more.
She slipped past people and got to her destination. Beau climbed off his stool beside Keirstyn and offered it to Stephanie. She waved him off, looking at James who was chatting Autumn's ear off. She looked annoyed out of her mind. Her eyes met Steph's and they looked like they were pleading for help.
James stopped mid-sentence, turning to Stephanie. "I don't think we,"
"She's Jonny's girlfriend." Autumn cut him off. "Her name's Stephanie. Let's go for a walk."
Autumn grabbed James's hand, standing up. She pulled him away. She looked over her shoulder and Stephanie mouthed a quick 'thank you'. Autumn rolled her eyes and nodded. Steph took her stool.
As subtle as could be, Keirstyn kept rubbing Beau's inner thigh. He was lucky he was sitting because she was definitely getting a rise out of him. Keirstyn had a smirk on her face as she listened to Stephanie talking on about something. Her hand continue to rub. She moved her hand closer to his body.
Beau shot up. Keirstyn and Stephanie both looked up at him. He took a deep breath. Keirstyn cocked a brow, smirking. He glared at her.
"Excuse me." He spoke, sliding between them.
Keirstyn pinched his ass as he walked away. He looked over his shoulder at him. She was still smirking. He made his way to the stairs and ran up them. He found the first room he could and walked into it. He pulled out his phone as he sat on the bed. He heard a huff. He looked behind him in terror just to see Geno's dog laying on the bed.
Keirstyn nearly laughed out loud at the text Beau sent her. He was demanding she came upstairs to 'finish what she started'. She wasn't completely against a quicky at a party. She looked up to Stephanie staring at her. She realized she had to think of an excuse.
"Faith needs a tampon." Keirstyn blabbed. "I'll find you later."
Keirstyn took off. She nearly launched up the stairs. She stopped, realizing she had no idea where he was.
"Beau!" She called.
A door opened and she was yanked into a room. The door shut and she was slammed against it. Keirstyn smirked, looking up at Beau.
"You're not a nice girl." He hissed.
"Shut up and take your pants off so I can finish you off." She rolled her eyes.
"Oh no, you take your clothes off. I'm gonna ruin you." He said in a husky tone.
Faith stomped over to Keirstyn the second her and Beau came downstairs. Keirstyn's eyes widened.
"I needed a tampon?" Faith crossed her arms. "Next time Beau needs a q,"
Jeff's hand went over her mouth. He pulled her away from the flustered two. Faith glared up at his as he turned her around. He took his hand off her mouth.
"Don't be that girl. Let Beau and Keirstyn have fun in their little honeymoon phase." Jeff chuckled, brushing the hair out of her face.
"I never got a honeymoon phase with you." She argued.
"We're different." He stated, pecking her forehead.
Faith stood in front of him, staring at him. He furrowed his brows at her, smiling. She shook her head and smiled before she looked down.
"What?" He nudged her.
"You're just perfect." She shrugged.
He sighed, throwing an arm around her. "You and me both."
He teased, kissing the side of her head. Faith shook her head. She heard Geno cheering and looked towards the door where he was. Sidney must've just walked in. Faith grabbed Jeff's hand, dragging him over to the situation.
Sid saw them approaching. He broke past everyone huddling around him. He pulled Faith into a quick hug. He and Jeff did one of those 'bro-hugs' or whatever.
"You need to go save your girlfriend." Jeff explained.
"Why?" Sid breathed out, now worried. "Is everything okay?"
"Yeah, it's just she took one for the team and got James away from everyone and now," Faith gestured to where James and Autumn were.
She was sitting with her back to everyone. James was leaning against the wall in front of her. He had a grin on his face as he told another story. Sidney laughed at the scene.
"I'll make my way. She looks like she's having fun." He mocked.
"I hope she doesn't talk to you for a week." Faith shook her head.
"She can't not talk to me for a week. It's Autumn." He laughed.
Sidney did eventually make his way over. He made small talk with people as he walked over to her. James's eyes met Sid's as he approached. He slid his arms around Autumn's waist, pressing his lips to her neck.
She grabbed his hands, turning to see who it was. She noticed his familiar scent and spun around. She wrapped her arms around his neck. His found her waist. He fully lifted her from her seat.
"Please get me away from James before I kill myself." She whispered to him.
Sid chuckled and carried her, as is, to his teammates and friends. James trailed behind, seeing as he was part of the team. Sid placed Autumn on her feet. Beau cocked a brow at his captain. Sid returned it.
"Are we doing it?" James asked, grinning ear to ear.
Sidney gave Autumn a kiss before walking off with his teammates. Beau and Keirstyn's departure was a lot more graphic. Everyone watched as James hollered and asked for everyone's attention. The entire Penguins roster stood before the party, excluding Evgeni. He was stood to the side with his arm around Victoria. Marc-Andre stepped forward.
"Hello, I'm Marc. All of us Penguins are here to celebrate our good friend, Evgeni, signing over his soul to his, okay, fiancé, Victoria." He spoke.
Tori rolled her eyes at his comment. James pushed Marc back and stepped forward. He adjusted the jacket he was wearing and slicked his hair back. Jake mocked him, causing Jordan to whack his chest.
"We just want to give a big congrats to Geno and let him know that we can't wait for our wedding invites." James grinned.
Marc lifted a glass in the air. "To G and Vic!" He called.
Victoria shook her head as she drank from her glass. Marc shot her a wink, knowing she hated being called that. G kissed the side of her head.
"To us?" He whispered, pointing to his puckered lips.
She nodded. "To us." She replied before kissing him.
