Lost Girl

The girls sat down in the seats that Morgan had gotten them as they were very close to the glass. Behind the Leafs bench, Ashley smiled widely, admiring the arena. Piper joined in as she sighed happily, taking a seat.

"This is going to be great." Piper chimed as Ashley nodded.
"They better kick ass tonight." Ashley spoke through teeth as Piper raised a brow.
"Or what, Morgan won't get any action?" She joked as Ashley sent her a serious stare.
"If that needs to be done, then so be it." She spoke as Piper's eyes grew wide, nodding her head in agreement.

The arena was full of blue and white as the boys skated on, having already finished their pregame a while ago. The girls sat in excitement as they waited for their two boys to skate on. Bernier, Dion, Lupul, McClement, the boys pilled out before it came to Jake and Morgan. The girls saw the 51 and 44 skate out as she cheered loudly, clapping their hands in excitement. Jake decided on skating around while Morgan went to the bench to stretch. As he kept his head down, Ashley cheered his name as his eyes grew wide, his head flying up. He saw the redhead behind the glass as he smiled widely, winking at her as she rolled her eyes. He began to laughed softly before he began to stretch. Jake kept his head down as he closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He tried his hardest to stay in control this game. He knew the boys needed to win this game and he wasn't prepared to let his team down. The first line skated onto the blue line to sing the national anthem as Jake stood tall and listened to the singer. Once the ceremony was done, He grabbed his helmet and slid it onto his head. He and his first linesmen got prepared for the face off as did the other team. The puck was dropped as Bozak won the face off, sending it back to Jake. He shot the puck off to Cody who skated with it up the ice, before passing it to JVR. Taking a shot, the puck was saved by Nabokov. Jake skated down to the bench as he looked up at the time. Skating onto the bench, he sat down in front of the two girls as they smiled softly, knowing that it was a secret the two were at the game. Morgan held a smirk on his face as he looked back at the girls quickly before watching the game. Piper and Ashley exchanged looks before deciding on grabbing some grub. Ashley bought herself a beer while Piper chowed down on a bag of popcorn. The girls sat like that until the end of the second period. The game went on as the score was now 3-1 for the Islanders. The boys were all stressed out and upset as Jake screwed up on one of the plays, thus allowing the Islanders to score their third goal. He sat down in his booth and sighed heavily as he grabbed a drink of water. Morgan took a seat next to his best friend as he knew Jake was upset. He knew now was the time to probably let Jake know that Piper was in the audience. Clearing his throat, Morgan ripped the sweat from his forehead as Jake looked over at him.

"Hey so I was planning on telling you this earlier but then everything got a little messy." He began as Jake raised a brow confused.
"Ashley and Piper are at the game." Morgan spoke as Jake's eyes lit up slightly.
"What?" He whispered as Morgan smiled softly and nodded.

Jake went on to ask another question before Randy came out to speak to the boys. The locker room grew quiet as he went off about how they were slacking and on how they needed to get back into the game. The boys got ready to go back onto the ice as they threw their helmets back on and grabbed their gear. Jake went to talk to Morgan but was pushed back when Kadri patted Jakes back and pushed him ahead of him. The boys skated back onto the home ice as Jake saw Morgan getting onto the bench. Jake tapped his stick against the board in front of Morgan as he gestured his head back towards the girls behind him. Jake's eyes wondered to the girls as he spotted Piper. He smiled widely as she gave him a wave. He laughed softly as he looked at the first line skating to the centre ice face off. He looked back at Piper who shooed him away, making him laugh. He skated off towards the boys as Morgan turned around and mouthed a soft thank you to Piper, knowing Jake's performance was going to be him trying to impress her. The rest of the game carried on as the boys fought back hard. With 1:21 seconds to go, the score was 3-2, as Lupul had gotten a goal for his team. Jake swallowed hard as he positioned himself in the defensive zone. Bozak had won the face off again, as the puck was shot to Cody who then shot the puck to Jake. Jake made his way down the ice as he skated off before passing it to Phil. Phil skated around the net to get the puck away to make a clear shot before he spotted Jake in front of the net. Passing it to Jake, Jake let the puck hit his stick before he tapped the puck. The puck flew past Nabokov and hit the back of the net as Jake's arms flew up in the air in celebration. The boys skated over to him and gave him a hug as he skated over to the bench. He gave high fives to his team while Ashley and Piper celebrated themselves. When Piper saw Jake's goal, she flew up and screamed with cheer as she clapped. She banged on the glass as Ashley high fived her cousin. Jake opened the door to the bench and sat down as he grabbed a drink. As he drank he turned around quickly to see Piper smiling wide. She looked down at him as he winked at her. She blushed softly as he mouthed 'you're good luck' to her, which made her shrug. The two laughed softly before turning back to the game before them. The game remained tied 3-3 as the period ended and went into overtime. The boys battled hard until it was 3 minutes into the period as JVR snagged a goal off of the Islanders and won for the home team. The arena cheered as everyone got up and clapped. The boys all gathered around Bernier in net and celebrated before raising their sticks high and skating off the ice. As everyone piled out, Ashley smiled as she looked at Piper.

"You're Jake's good luck." She told her as she shook her head quickly, laughing.
"You're full of shit." She remarked as Ashley shook her head.
"May be full of shit but I'm at least truthful." She winked as she began walking up the stairs.

Piper followed along as she caught up.
"Where are we going?" She asked as Ashley turned her head to smile.
"Morgan said to go to the gate after the game." She said as Piper nodded.

The two made their way as they told security they were waiting for Morgan. The security nodded as she brought them down to the dressing room. The girls waited outside as the boys got dressed and filed out. First came Mason and Cody along with some of the other boys before Morgan and Jake came out with Tyler and Phil. The four walked out as Morgan spotted the girls. They walked over to them as Jake took a long stride to Piper. She smiled widely as he wrapped his arms around her waist, spinning her around she she laughed, holding onto his neck. Ashley and Morgan laughed while Phil and Tyler were confused. Morgan noticed as he whispered to the two.

"That's Jake's girl." He smirked as the two nodded, smiles on their face.
"Piper?" Tyler asked as Morgan nodded.
"Yeah it's the girl from Franny's party." Phil cut in as Morgan nodded.

Jake had set down Piper as he looked at her, a genuine face.

"Thank you for coming tonight." He spoke.
"Thank Morgan, he planned it all." She chimed as Jake raised a brow at his best friend before back down at Piper.
"You're really my good luck charm." He claimed as he winked at her.
Piper laughed softly as she shook her head. "I'm not your good luck charm." She told him as he grabbed her hands, smiling.
"No, you really are. You need to come to more games." He spoke as she laughed softly, shrugging.

The two then looked at the group behind them and began to chat. They all chatted for a while before they decided to all head off home. Jake had looked down at Piper as he began to speak.

"Wanna come to my place?" He asked as Piper nodded, smiling.
"Sure, why not." She spoke as Morgan cut in.
"Well try not to keep us up all night because we're coming back home too." Morgan smirked as he held Ashley's hand in his.

Jake and Piper blushed softly at his comment before they all made their way back to Jake and Morgan's apartment. As they all got in, Ashley and Morgan decided on watching a movie before Jake turned to Piper once they were in his room.

"Want a shirt?" He asked as she nodded.

He threw a big shirt to Piper as she caught it and stripped herself of her clothing. Jake took off his clothes, just leaving his boxer briefs on. He climbed into bed as he looked over at the blonde. She walked over to his bathroom as she caught him staring at her. She rolled her eyes and hit his feet off the bed as he laughed. She walked into the bathroom and brushed her teeth before washing her face off. She walked back out and threw her hair up into a pony tail as Jake sat in bed on his phone. She sat in the bed next to him as she looked over at his screen, seeing him on instagram.

"Stalking up some babes?" She asked as he threw his phone down, growling at her in a playful gesture.
She began to laugh hysterically as he pinned her down, tickling her. Her legs kicked around as his hands attacked her body. She cried for him to stop as he moved his hands down her sides.

"I'm ticklish all over, please stop!" She cried as he continued, laughing his own head off.

His hands found her feet as she squirmed around, crying of laughter. Her foot then kicked out of his hold, hitting him in the jaw by mistake. He hissed as held his jaw softly. Her eyes grew wide as she sat up quickly, looking into his eyes. She put her hands on his as she searched his face.

"I'm so sorry!" She cried as he shook his head.
"It's not your fault." He smiled softly before wincing. She quickly stood up and helped him up before noticing he was bleeding on his tongue. She walked with him to the bathroom as he spat in the sink, the blood running down the drain. He began to rinse his mouth as she walked out and back in with an ice pack. She set it in a towel before putting it to his jaw. The two walked back over to the bed and sat there as she moved his hair from his face. He looked at the blonde as she looked into his eyes, searching for emotion.

"Does it sting?" She asked as he shrugged.
"Yeah, but it'll go away soon." He nodded as she ran a hang through her hair, loosing her ponytail.
"I'm such an idiot, I'm so sorry." She said again as he shook his head.
"Piper, you didn't do anything it's fine!" He said as she bit her lip, looking at him and nodding.

The two began to slowly smile at each other as Piper sighed softly, sitting closer to Jake. His body towered over hers as she sat beside him. Her hand held his neck softly as she moved her head up. His head lowered as he rested a hand on her bare thigh. Her lips connected to his as they kissed softly but passionately. Their lips lingered on each others before he pulled away, squeezing her thigh softly.

"You make me crazy, please be mine. I want you at all my games, cheering me on. I want to wake up to you in the morning for a long time.. Just be mine.." He requested as she smiled softly, nodding.


"Of course." She assured, sealing their deal with a kiss.
