Lost Girl

After their first official encounter, Jake was all about getting to know the girl he once referred to as, a mystery. The two were seated in a love seat in front of the window which gave view to the city lights of Toronto. Jake had his arm against the back of the seat, while she was seated on the couch in a way he never seen a girl who was flirting with him, do before. Her legs were crossed over each other as her hands stayed still in her lap. Everything she did was so different than every other girl, every single action, all the small things.

“So, are you from around here?” Jake had asked as she nodded, laughing softly at his awkward attempt to flirt.
“Yeah, born and raised. What about you?” She asked as he shook his head and began again.
“I’m from Minnesota, I’ve just been living here for about three years or so.” He told her as she nodded, looking at the blonde.

The two kept talking and laughing together as they made jokes to one another. As the two spoke, Jake couldn’t help but notice how perfect she looked. She had her hair in a natural wave, which gave off a sexy and wild look. Her make up was very subtle, but her big dirty blonde eyebrows gave her a kick of quirkiness, which he loved. She was wearing a pair of black spandex high wasted pants along with a Blink 182 tee. Just as he noticed her shirt, he raised an eyebrow and looked at her, to which she looked back at him with a puzzled look.

“What?” She asked as she laughed softly, pointing to her shirt.
“You like Blink 182?” He asked as she nodded, laughing.
“Yeah, my brother and cousin got me into them when I was younger. Celebrity crush no doubt in mind is Travis Barker.” She spoke as he cringed, letting a laugh come out as she did the same.
“He looks awful!” He began as she waved her hands around, laughing still.
“Okay, like up until when he was married to Shanna Moakler and had that television show.” She said as he nodded, a smile coming onto his face.
“Hopefully he’s not your type, well at least specific.” He said as she looked at him slightly confused.
“Oh, and why is that?” She asked in a playful tone.
“Because then I’d have no chance.” He told her as she blushed softly, playing with her fingers in her lap.

From across the room, Morgan and Ashley were sitting on another love seat in front of the pool table. JVR and Tyler were currently playing a game of pool while Phil chirped JVR the whole time. Morgan was laughing along with the guys while Ashley was pressed against his side, her head on his shoulder. Morgan shifted his gaze to Jake and Piper, where Ashley was watching with a soft smile.

“Why didn’t you set them up before you brought that Monica girl as his blind date?” Morgan asked as Ashley gently hit his arm, shaking her head.

“She’s still my friend you know.” She said as he laughed awkwardly, looking down at her.
“Whoops, sorry?” He said as he shrugged.

Ashley laughed as they focused back on the two hitting it off.

“I didn’t think they’d hit it off exactly, I mean they’re totally opposite..” She began as Morgan raised a brow, looking at Ashley.

“They seem to be getting along better than Bozie and Phil.” Morgan told her as Phil smacked him over the head lightly.

“Shut up, kid.” Phil told Morgan in a playful tone as Morgan gave Phil a death stare before looking back at Jake and Piper.

“Sure they’re getting along, but I just didn’t see them being together... For instance, Jake’s into going to clubs and expensive restaurants. Jake enjoys hook ups and creeping the girls he does hook up with on instagram. The girls I set Jake up are the girls who love the upscale living, parties, and expensive shit. Piper isn’t like that, she, well she first off volunteers with the homeless and feeding them, so already I thought she’d be out of his league of high standards. She doesn’t go to many parties, and when she does she drinks beer, not fruity Mike’s Hard Lemonade. The girl refuses to even get her license because of how much she enjoys the subway. Can you name me one of Jake’s flings who takes the subway without being forced to?” Ashley told Morgan as he looked at Ashley and began seeing the difference. She was right, the two weren’t alike.

“That’s true, but hey, maybe opposite’s attract?” He stated as she nodded, playing with Morgan’s fingers which were on her shoulder.

“Also because she just turned eighteen.” She told him as his eyes practically came out of his head.

Looking down at Ashley, he looked at her shocked. “No fucking way, she looks and acts like she’s twenty-three.”

Shrugging, Ashley nodded as Morgan kept his eyes on her face. Noticing his glare, she looked at the blonde who gave her a smile and a soft laugh.

“What?” She asked as he pressed his forehead to hers.

“I’m not really about the whole, PDA thing, but I really want to kiss you right now..” He spoke as she laughed, raising an eyebrow.

“Why?” She asked as he looked from her eyes to her lips.

“Because you; a) have been helping my best friend out, which you didn’t have to do. And b) you’re really beautiful.”

Once Morgan told her that she looked at him with a serious look, one full of love and passion.

“Really?” She whispered as he nodded, pressing his lips to hers and moving their lips together slowly. Her hands held onto his face while he kept one rested on her shoulder, the other on her thigh. They kept kissing passionately as JVR, Phil, and Bozie began making fun of the two.

Whistles filled the room as the three began making jokes. “Yeah, Morgan getting action! Get some!” The three said as Morgan held up a finger to the three of them, while still kissing Ashley. Hearing the whistles and laughter, Piper looked over at the commosion and saw her cousin and Morgan. She then elbowed Jake to which he looked over and began to smile.

“Finally those two are making their moves.” He spoke as Piper laughed softly.
“How long have they liked each other?” She asked, looking over to Jake who was already looking at her.
“Way too long to remember when the nagging began from them both on how much each liked each other.” He told her as she laughed, nodding.

A few hours later and the group were getting ready to go. Ashley slid on her shoes and Morgan helped her into her coat while he grabbed his own. Cody was saying goodbye’s to everyone while having Hannah on his side. His arm was draped over her shoulder while hers was around his waist. Jonathan and his fiancé, Martine, stayed seated on the coach as they were staying longer, due to the two couples closeness. Joffrey and Sierra had already left a few hours prior, everyone knowing they went back to his apartment to get lucky. Piper had slid on her black combat boots and leather jacket, as Jake just admired her uniqueness. Once putting on his own stuff, the four of them walked out of the loft and to the elevator and to the parking. Reaching Jake’s car, Morgan and Ashley hoped into the backseat, Piper in the passenger seat beside Jake. He began driving off down the road and turned the radio on, letting the music play out softly.

“So, where am I dropping you off?” Jake asked Piper as she put her hair behind her ear.

“York and Front, the condo on the left hand side.” She directed him as he nodded.

“I’m gonna be spending the night with Ashley, so you can drop me off at hers.” Morgan spoke up as Jake nodded.

“I’ll drop you two kittens off first then.” Jake told them as he then looked over at Piper. “If that’s okay with you, I mean.”

With a nod, Piper reassured him it was fine as he began driving towards Ashley’s place. Looking in the front mirror, he noticed the two had their fingers interlocked while they rested their hands on the middle seat rest. Licking his lip slightly, Jake looked over at Piper and noticed she was softly tapping her hands on her thighs to the beat of the song. Jake smiled at how youthful she was and finally reached the apartment.

“Alright, use condoms, please I don’t need any babies in my place anytime soon.” Jake said as the car all laughed.

“Okay bye, Jake.” Ashley said, smacking the back of his seat and jumping out into Morgan’s arms.

The two walked inside as Jake made his way down the street towards Front street. Feeling slightly sad he’d have to part with Piper, he gave her a quick mischievous look.

“Want to grab some ice cream and go down to the lake?” He asked as Piper gave him a playful yet confused look.

“Uhm, hell yes?” She told him as he laughed and made a U-turn and drove off towards McDonalds.
