When I woke up the next morning, I had tried to stretch but i realized I had an arm around me. I looked behind me and saw Sid sleeping peacefully. I put my hand on his cheek, gently rubbing it. I cant believe how much of a gentleman he was last night. He wad so caring and made sure I was okay when I felt a twinge of pain.

I go to shift when I feel something on my leg. I look under the sheet and see his morning wood through his boxers. He must have gotten hot last night because I just now realize he doesn't have his shirt on. I decide to have some fun with this. (SID POV)

'Damn I love this girl' was all I thought on the way to my car in her driveway. And that she was fucking sexy as hell. Last night was amazing. I couldn't believe that she was ready but I was happy.

And then this morning. Geno had called me asking if I was okay because apparently him and a couple of the guys called me last night and were worried when I didn't answer. Anyway Gracie was teasing me and it was making it very hard to concentrate on what he was talking about. I think I missed out on most if not the whole phone call. I almost said screw practice I'll just get there late I don't care. But then I remembered I was taking dad with me and that Coach probably wouldn't have been happy about it.

"My night was good. Perfect in fact" I replied with a smile, starting to remember the events again.
He laughed, "Son you're a grown man. You don't have to be ashamed by whatever did or did not happen"
I just blushed a deeper red. "I'm gonna go get ready for practice"
"Alright son" he laughed patting my back as I walked past him.

When I got to the top of the stairs I saw mom coming out of her room. "Morning Mom"
"Good morning sweetie. How are you?" she said giving me a hug and peck on the cheek.
"I'm good. How are you?" I said returning the gesture.
"I'm good. Well you better get ready for practice if you don't want to be late"
"Yea I gotta hurry up. Love you mom"
"Love you too sweetie"

Going in my room and locking the door, I'm flooded with memories of last night for the second time this morning. Gracie was so beautiful. She was so bossy, nervous, and cute. "I could tell she didn't want your money when we all went to dinner last night and she wanted to pay her part. I'm surprised you let her out the tip down."
"I didn't want to believe me. But I knew she would do something and make sure I didn't pay for it. She's a stubborn girl. But I like her independence. And I'm completely supportive of that." I said just as we were pulling into the players lot.
"I know son. Just don't fuck it up in the future" he said pointing a finger at me with a stern look.
"Trust me. I hope I don't"

When dad and I got inside, he went to talk to Mario while I headed to the locker room. As soon as I stepped inside, I noticed I was the last one to arrive.
"Look who decided to show up!" Talbo screamed.
"Nice to see you this morning Cap'n. Congrats on winning the gold" Staalsy said. He was walking back in the room from somewhere and slapped his hand on my back.
"Thanks man. And congrats to Olli and Juss on Bronze. And hey, Geno, Brooksy, Pauly, u all played awesome out there.and Pauly I hope your hand gets better soon" I said. I felt bad for them. They played their hearts out. Especially Geno. I know it was harder for him 'cause of it being at home.
"Thanks Sid."

"Speaking of G. Where is he?" Nealer asked. We all looked around.
"I don't know. I just spoke to him while I was still at home" I said.
"Huh. Oh there he is" he said pointing at Geno coming back in.
"What?" G asked confused.
"We were wondering where you were. You're here then we go to talk to you and we find you gone." Kuni laughed.
"Oh okay" he said finishing getting ready for practice.

Once we were on the ice, I saw Geno just skating around down the other end of the ice. I skated over to him to see what was up.
"You alright, G?" I asked concerned.
"Yea I fine. Forgot to tell you on phone. Congrats on Gold" he said. But I could see the sadness in his eyes.
"Thanks. And hey, remember, if you need to talk, you can always come talk to me. Alright?" I reassured.
"Thanks Sid. You good friend and captain. Always there and helpful" he said.
"You're welcome. And thanks. I just don't want to see my friends and teammates hurting. No matter what the cause of is. Now lets get to practice" I said tapping his leg with my stick while he nodded.

I'm so sorry that its been so long! I've been so busy and I've been writing but never really got to post. And a lot of things have happened since I last updated.
1) Pens got eliminated
2) they fired Ray and Dan then hired Jim Rutherford (who will never replace Ray) and going on a coach hunt
