Can I Trust You?

(GRACIE POV)

Tonight I get to meet the team. I can't wait! Since I'm such a big fan, I'm flipping out inside. I will try to be sane when I meet them, but I'll be freaking out inside.

After work, I went home to change and get ready for the game. I wasn't gonna wear what I wore to work to the game. So I got out a pair of dark skinny jeans, a black tank top with gold lining, and my 'Crosby' jersey. After I showered, I did my hair and makeup before getting dressed. As I was getting dressed, my phone went off.

'You're ticket is at will call. Can't wait to see you in the stands. See you after. Love you baby' Sid texted.
'Ok thanks handsome. See you after. Can't wait. Good luck. Kick the Rangers asses for me. Love you too'
'Thanks sweetie. Gotta go'
'Bye'

I finished getting dressed and put on a pair of knee high black boots and headed to my car.

*AT THE GAME*

When I got to the arena I went to will call by the American Eagle Gate outside to get my ticket. When I was heading back up to the TRIB Gate to go in so I can be closer to Pens Gear, I heard someone call my name. When I turned around, I saw Lilly running over.
"Hey Lilly"
"Hey Gracie"
"Where are you sitting?"
"Behind our bench. You?"
"Same" We compared out tickets and saw that the guys put us together. "Yay we're sitting together"
"Yay. Lets go in"

We went inside and stopped at the concession stands to get something to eat and drink. On the way back to our seats, Lilly breaks the silence.
"So did you talk to Sid about what you told me yesterday?"
"Yes. He didn't like that I was having the insecurities so he went on saying that I deserve the world and he will treat me like a princess. He also confessed something."
"What?!"
"He loves me," I blushed.
"It's about damn time!"
"I know. And I'm meeting the team tonight after the game"
"I met them and they are amazing guys. Just watch out, Talbo might flirt with you. He's a nice guy, but he will most likely flirt"
"Haha. I'm nervous though. Because I'm such a big fan. Are you going to the locker room too?"
"Yes"
"Oh good. I didn't wanna be alone"
"You have nothing to be nervous about," she smiled reassuringly.

During the game, Lilly and I cheered our heads off. A couple times Sid would skate over to the bench and smile and wink at me. I just smiled back and blushed while he laughed.

With it being the last game before the Olympic Break, everyone was hoping for a win. Although it didn't end like that because the Rangers won in the shootout 4-3.

After the game we waited until the arena cleared out a bit. when we got up, a security guard came over to us. "Are you girls, Lilly and Gracie?"
"Yes," we both said in unison.
"Follow me to the locker room," he said motioning for us to follow him

We made sure we had out stuff before following him to the locker room. When we got there, I was shocked at how big the lounge looked. I've only seen little clips from Inside Penguins Hockey and In The Room. I was standing in shock for a few minuted because Lilly had to hit my arm to snap me out of it.

"Gracie you okay?" she asked concerned.
"Yea just was in shock of how awesome it is," I said with a smile.
"C'mon I saw some of the girls wave us over"
"Girls? Who?"
"The team WAGs"
"Oh okay I totally forgot that I was meeting them too"
"Lets go"

When we got over to where the WAGs were sitting, a couple of them immediately came over to us.
"Hi girls. I'm Vero, Fleury's wife," she said giving us a hug
"Hi I'm Gracie"
"I'm Lilly"
"I'm Erin, Orpik's wife," she said also giving us a hug
"Hi"
"So I'm guessing Gracie is the one Sid hasn't shut about lately," Vero grinned
I just blushed and nodded getting a laugh from them
"It's okay. It's never anything bad. Just about how much he loves you," Erin smiled

While waiting for the guys, Lilly and I met more of the WAGs. I don't know what I was nervous about, all the girls are very nice and welcoming.
All of a sudden we hear the locker room door open and some of the guys come out wearing their suits.
"Hello ladies," a blond, I recognized as Jordan Staal said.
"Hey honey," Heather said giving him a kiss
"So where is Sunshine's girl and Cappy's girl at?" I heard a French accent say. When I looked, I saw Max Talbot. He just looked at all the girls until finding Lilly and I.
"There they are. Hey Lilly I remember you. I met you at dinner after the game against the Caps. And I'm guessing this is Gracie," he said with a grin
"Yup," Lilly said
"Well Gracie, I'm Max Talbot. The big blond giant is Jordan Staal. The one with th..."
"Talbo, Gracie is like Lilly. A big Pens fan. She knows who we are," Beau smiled. He immediately went to Lilly and kissed her.
"Oh okay. Well Gracie, Sid is always slow and the last to leave. So in the meantime, I can keep you company," he grinned before sitting next to me.
"Should I be scared?" I asked no one in particular
"Yes you should. He will shamelessly flirt with you," Craig Adams said
"Okay then," I chuckled.
"Hey I'm not that bad," Talbo whined.
"Yes you are," Matt Cooke chimed in

"Are you guys hounding my girlfriend?" I heard Sid ask. I immediately smiled when I heard his voice and saw him. He's sexy in a suit.
"Just getting to know her. That's all buddy," Talbo smirked.
"Okay," He said before walking over to me.

"Hey baby," he said before kissing my cheek
"Hi handsome. Good game tonight. Sorry bout the loss though," I said with a small smile.
"It's okay. Not how we wanted to head into break, but we'll take it," he smiled
"Okay"

(SID POV)

Having Gracie here tonight was amazing. Usually I'd be going over the game in my head trying to figure out what went wrong, but she helped me forget about it without even doing anything. We were all just hanging out in the lounge with everyone getting to know her.

Then for some reason, Talbo asked, "So out of all of us, who's your favorite Penguin?"
"OH don't ask me that. That's a tough question," Gracie whined. It was really cute and I just smiled.
"I know you're gonna say me but you don't want everyone else to feel bad. I understand. I am the Superstar after all," he smirked
"No really you don't wanna ask either of that question. Our answer will always be the whole team," Lilly said
"Exactly" Gracie said

After sitting around a while longer, I figured I should take Gracie to meet Mario
"Baby you wanna go meet Mario now?"
"Sure," she smiled.
"Okay," I gave her a quick kiss before getting up and helping her up

"Where you guys going?" Flower asked
"Taking her to meet Mario," I smiled
"Oh okay have fun"
"Bye guys. Good luck to the ones going to Sochi. I'll be cheering for you. It was nice meeting you," Gracie said. Everyone had thanked her and then we started to get ready to leave.
After we said bye to everyone, I grabbed her hand and we headed up to where the offices are.

"Is it okay to be nervous?" Gracie asked quietly.
"Babe you don't need to be nervous. Mario is a normal person. It'll be okay," I smile reassuringly.
"But it's Mario Lemieux. I grew up watching him play"
"I know baby doll. C'mon," I said kissing her forehead

When we reached Mario's office, I knocked on the door and heard a muffled," Come in"
When we walked in, I had noticed that Dan and Ray were there too. "Are we interrupting?" I asked.
"No it's okay. Who's we?" Coach asked confused.
I opened the door wider and looked to see Gracie walking in shyly. "My girlfriend and I. I brought her up to meet Mario. You guys are a bonus," I smiled. I also felt Gracie squeeze my hand. I squeezed it back to reassure it was okay.
"Well come on in," Ray said.

I pulled Gracie the rest of the way in and she smiled at them. "Hi I'm Gracie"
Mario got up, "I'm Mario. Nice to meet you," he said shaking her hand. "I'm guessing you know who we all are?" he smiled.
"Yes I'm a big Pens fan. I grew up watching you play," she blushed. He just laughed.
"Hi Gracie. I'm Dan Bylsma," Coach said shaking her hand
"Hi Dan"
"Hello. I'm Ray Shero," Ray said doing the same thing.
"Hi Ray"

We all just hung out and they got to know Gracie. She was really starting to loosen up the longer she was with them. I also saw them giving me a look saying that she was good for me a couple times. I'm glad that they all met her and like her. I was really nervous about it for some reason.

When it was approaching midnight, we all started to leave and head home.
"Gracie it was wonderful meeting you. And remember if you need any advice on being in a relationship with a hockey player, you can go to my wife Nathalie. You will have to meet her the next time we see you," Mario said giving her a hug
"Oh okay thanks," she said shocked that he hugged her.
"It was nice meeting you guys. Good luck in Sochi Dan and Ray," she added.
"Thanks. It was nice meeting you too," Dan and Ray replied. They also gave her a hug.
"Mario see you after break. Dan, Ray, see you in New York," I said shaking their hands.
"See ya Sid," they all said.

When Gracie and I got to the players lot and nobody else was around, she turned and hugged me while giving me a lot of kissed. "I survived. I was so scared. Then seeing Dan and Ray there too it tripled. But I'm so glad I survived!" she said excitedly.
"Baby I told you that you had nothing to worry about. And see? You were perfectly fine," I smile kissing her lips softly.
"But now sadly you're leaving for a few weeks. When do you have to leave for Russia?" she asked sadly with a pouty face that I just found adorable.
"Sunday. So we get tomorrow together. Even though I have to finish packing," I sheepishly confessed.
"If you want, I'll come over tomorrow and help you? We can spend time together before you have to leave?"
"Yes I would love that. And I love you"
"I love you too Sid," she said before kissing me deeply. I didn't wanna leave her for a few weeks. I'm just glad we can hang out tomorrow.

After making out for a while, I drove her to where her car was and dropped her off with one last long kiss and telling her that I would see her tomorrow.
'Damn I love this girl' I smiled.
