Jeff shot the puck at Eddie before he skated to the end of the opposite line. He heard Brendan babbling on to Nathan about his night with Felicia. It took everything in him to not launch at Brendan and pound his head into the ice. Jeff listened as Brendan explained what happened between the pair. Jeff let out a laugh at how much of a joke Brendan could be. Brendan heard and looked over.
“What are you laughing about, Skins?” He asked.
Jeff shrugged. “Just you, Gally. I love your stories.” He shot back.
“Yeah, I loved hearing Felicia scream my name instead of yours.” Brendan scoffed.
“Would’ve been a little awkward if she screamed mine.” Jeff sighed.
They went a few more times before the coach called them in. They were going to scrimmage. As if God answered Jeff’s prayers, Brendan was on the other team. He was set to lay him out any chance he could. Jeff started with Sid as his centre and Beau on his right wing. Brendan lined up beside Geno and James. He sent Jeff a wink. The puck dropped and they ran at each other.
Kaitlyn had done a ton of investigating Beau for Kristen. They probably knew everything about them. Felicia was sat down beside Ainsley, who thought this was crazy. Jocelyn thought this was hilarious.
“So he had a girlfriend back home?” Kristen quizzed.
“They broke up.” Kaitlyn added.
“Perfe,”
“What the fuck? Why the fuck are Brendan and Jeff out to kill each other?” Felicia yelled.
“Fighting for your love.” Ainsley teased.
“Too bad I’m with Brendan.” Felicia snarled.
“Looks like Jeff’s trying to stop that.” Jocelyn pointed out as Jeff slammed him into the boards.
A whistle blew and Sidney skated past the girls. He looked up and smiled at them. Ainsley let out a whimper. Kristen looked up at why that noise was made. She saw her brother and shook her head.
“You and Sid are never going to happen.” Kristen stated.
“I’m gonna fuck him, at least, before he goes to the show.” Ainsley shrugged.
“No chance in hell.” Kristen laughed.
“Just wait and see.” Ainsley smirked.
“Fuck!” Felicia yelled as Brendan hit Jeff before the coach called practice to an end. “I’m going to kill them!” She hissed and set off for the change room.
At the end of the practice, Jeff and Brendan had equally thrown each other around. Felicia stood at the change room doors with her arms crossed. Brendan approached her first. He put a hand on her waist and went down to kiss her. She waved him off. He kissed her cheek and went into the change room. She figured Brendan was the one picking on Jeff the entire time.
Jamie walked to the change room. He spotted his sister. She smiled at her and he gave her a mock dirty look. She rolled her eyes, kicking his ass as he walked through the change room doors. Jordie shoved his glove in her face before he went into the change room. Jeff was the third to last to come off the ice. He stopped at Felicia, assuming she was waiting for him since she was still there when Brendan was already in the change room. Sid and Jon smiled as they walked past to the change room. Once they were in, Felicia frowned up at him.
“Did Brendan just pound on you all practice?” She asked, pulling him into a hug. She backed away when she realized he stunk.
He laughed. “I kinda went at him first.” He admitted.
“Jeff,” She sighed. “Why would you do that?”
Jeff shook his head. “You shouldn’t be with him. He’s not good for you at all.” He explained.
She closed her eyes, taking a deep breath. “I know you’re looking out for me but I need you to stop. You don’t like Brendan so you’d obviously think that.”
“I don’t like Brendan because of that! I hate the way he treats you!” He yelled.
Felicia grabbed his hand. “I’ll talk to you later. You’re still riled up about practice.” She said before walking off.
Jeff growled and kicked the change room door open. Brendan glared at him his entire walk to his spot. Jeff shot the glare right back. Jordie shook his head, knowing the two kids were close to killing each other over his little sister. Jordie looked to Jamie who had a smirk on his face. Their eyes met and they both laughed. What had Felicia done?
