Alive

Felicia walked into the cafeteria. She saw Jamie sitting with Jake and Jocelyn. She walked over, slapping her hands down in front of him. He looked up from the notebook in front of him. He narrowed his eyes at her.
"Jamie." She spoke.
He slapped his hands down beside hers. "Felicia." He mocked.
"I need you to drive me home." She explained.
"It's second period, Felicia." Jocelyn laughed.
"I just need to go home." She frowned at Jamie.
He knew she was upset about something. Rather than causing a scene in front of the people in the cafeteria by asking her why, he just nodded. He closed his notebook and slid it into his backpack. He tossed it over one shoulder as he stood. He walked around the table, over to her. Jamie swung an arm around her shoulders as he led her out to his car.
Felicia was silent. She wasn't one for sharing her emotions. She was always like that. Both her brothers knew that. Jamie always respected it, but Jordie never let her keep things to herself. Jamie stopped near his locker.
"Go out to my car." He handed her his keys. "I just need a couple things."
Felicia nodded and walked off. Jamie texted Jordie faster than he ever had. Jamie wanted to know what was wrong with her, but he didn't want to pry. He never did. He always got Jordie to. That was how the three worked.
Jordie read Jamie's message. It explained how she came into the cafeteria, asking for him to take her home. It also mentioned how upset she seemed. That worried him. Being the eldest, he was always worried about Jamie and Felicia. Especially Felicia.
The period ended and Jordie rushed out to where his locker was. He saw all his friend standing around. He knew some of them had first with his sister and could tell him what happened.
"Anyone know what happened?" He asked as he approached. They all looked at him in confusion. He sighed. "With my sister."
He saw Valerie and Sidney look at each other. Sid tilted his head in Jordie's direction. Val sighed, stepping forward and guiding Jordie away. Jordie followed her away from the group. She turned to face him with a frown.
"Felicia's upset over Jeff. You should probably get the story from her." She breathed.
Jordie took a deep breath, nodding, before he walked off. He was going to murder Jeff. Jordie was furious and out for blood. He had no idea what Jeff had done, but he didn't care. He searched the halls for Jeff. He wasn't anywhere to be found. He spotted Sid and ran over to him.
"Where's Skinner?" Jordie hissed.
"Probably gone home already. He only came to clean out his shit." Sid explained before he looked at Jordie. "Are you alright?"
"No, I'm gonna murder him." Jordie stated before he took off.
"For what?"
"I don't know." Jordie admitted.
He nearly ran to his car in the parking lot. He drove home, probably a lot faster than he should have. He parked in the driveway. Walking up the path to the front door, he slammed it shut. Jamie looked up at him from the couch. Jordie shook his head as he made a b-line for the stairs. Jamie followed behind as Jordie charged to Felicia's room. She jumped when the door flew open.
"What the h,"
"What's going on, Felicia?" Jordie asked with a sigh.
She shook her head. "I just didn't feel well." She lied.
"Val told me you were upset. Cut it out." He told her.
She rolled her eyes, laying down with her back to him. "Go away."
"Tell me, right fucking now." Jordie demanded.
She shot up. "Jeff's leaving to go to some tryout out west and he might not be coming back!" She exclaimed. "And I'm really fucking upset."
Jordie frowned at her. He took a deep breath, squeezing his eyes shut. She knew he was about to explode. She stood up and walked over to him. She grabbed his arms. He opened his eyes.
"Do not do anything." She begged.
He shook his head and pulled out of her grasp. He was down the stairs and out the door within a second. Felicia and Jamie chased after him. Her feet were bare as she chased him. She begged him to stop the entire walk. It was only to Jeff's next door but it felt like an eternity. He walked up to the front door and knocked. A smiling Mr. Skinner opened the door. Jordie's angry expression fell. Felicia reached her brother and looked to Jeff's father.
"Hey, you just missed him!" He said to Felicia.
She smiled. "It's okay. We already said bye at school. Jordie just wanted to see him before he left." She lied through her teeth.
"His mom just drove him to the airport. Sorry." Mr. Skinner frowned.
"It's fine. See you around." Felicia called as she pushed Jordie away. "Are you fucking stupid?"
"I can't stand these fucking assholes that you associate with!" Jordie growled.
"Jeff isn't an asshole." She defended.
"Clearly if you're upset, he d,"
"I did it! I told him we couldn't be together!" She shouted.
"You do have a thing for assholes, Felicia. You can't blame us for being protective." Jamie added.
"Like who?" She scoffed.
"Gally." He crossed his arms.
Jordie laughed. He laughed until he thought about how close Gallagher's house was. He set off. It was only a few blocks away. Felicia punched Jamie then she ran after Jordie. In all her life, she had never seen her brother so angry.
"Jord, c'mon. Let's just go home!" She cried.
"No. I'm worked up." He said as he continued his walk.
"So you're going to yell at my ex who I haven't spoken to since? Grow up." She spat.
"Right after I kill him." He smiled.
Felicia followed him the rest of the way. She knew it was no use to try and get him to stop. He walked up to Brendan's front door and knocked on it. Felicia stood at the end of the walkway. Jamie came up beside her. The siblings looked at each other before back to Jordie. The door opened. Brendan looked up at Jamie in confusion.
"Just decided on taking a little trip over to let you know how much of a little fuck you are." Jordie began. "If you ever try to get with Felicia again or bother her in the slightest way possible, I will murder you. Understood?" Brendan nodded. "Good. Carry on with your day."
Felicia huffed and stormed home. She got to the house and slammed the door behind her. She hid out in her room. She was thankful she had Jordie and Jamie, obviously, she just hated being babied. She wasn't the child they made her out to be. She knew they only wanted to protect her, but she could manage that by herself. She heard the front door close and the two talking. She took a deep breath and headed downstairs.
They both watched her as she came into the living room. She walked over to Jamie and hugged him. He hugged her back, unsure of why he was. She let go and walked over to Jordie. She hugged him as well. He hugged her back.
"Look, I know I'm the baby, and the only girl, and all that shit, but you both need to calm down." She began. She kept an arm around Jordie's waist and faced towards Jamie. "I was upset, yeah, but it'll pass. I'm a pretty independent person. I can handle my own."
"I'm just doing my job as your big brother." Jordie defended.
"Well you've been demoted. Just chill out a bit. I'll be okay." She reassured him.
