Atmosphere *SCRAPED*

It was eight o'clock as the ladies filled into the Air Canada Centre. It was the third game of the USA series and the ladies were determined to win. The group of twenty four young women were in their sweatpants and anything comfortable that they could find for their six hour bus ride from Minnesota, where they had a game three days prior. Team Canada were set to arrive at the Air Canada Centre in order to discuss tonight's game. The bus was parked underground, as the girls grabbed whatever they needed for today's game and gave it to their equipment manager who would put it away until game time. The girls went up the elevator and into their home dressing room as they all grabbed a seat so their coach could begin to speak about today's strategy's. Kelly, who was new to the team, took a seat next to Audrey who was currently taping up her stick. Though she was in the middle of taping and was determined to do a good job, Audrey began speaking to the brunette.

"Getting used to the girls?" Audrey asked Kelly who was getting changed into the top of her under armour.
"Yeah, Keegan's really nice, so is Jude. Haven't really gotten around to really talk to the others." Kelly told Audrey as she finished getting dressed into her practice gear.
Audrey was still taping her stick as she began to yell out to the team. "Hey guys, talk to Kelly, make her feel welcomed, would ya?"

The girls on the team all looked at Kelly and smiled before they began to make her feel at home. Music was playing from the speakers as Keegan grabbed Kelly's hands and began dancing with her, to which she'd blush and laugh. Going along with the dancing, a few other girls came in, Farah, Valentine, and Sadie, and they began to dance along with the two girls. Everyone was laughing, even if they weren't dancing, because of how hilarious they all looked. As Audrey mumbled to herself about how Keegan was annoying, Jude took a seat beside her and watched the girls, which brought a smile to her face.

"That was nice of you getting Kelly to gain some more friendships. We all need to be like a family, can't have someone feeling like an outcast." She told Audrey who finished taping her stick, and set the tap beside her on the bench.
"I knew the girls would get her to loosen up a bit, so yeah it's no biggie." Audrey told Jude who nodded, sitting back in the cubby more.
"Look, you've been a leader lately, even when we play shit. I'm gonna talk to coach about maybe making you assistant captain or something." Jude began as Audrey looked at her, a confused smile on her face. "Really?" She asked as Jude nodded.

Jude was the captain of the team, being on the team for two years. Her assistant captains were already Paige and Alice, but there was room for one more and Jude knew who deserved it. Walking into the room, Holly and the coach, John Boucher, came in as Holly took a seat beside Jude and Audrey. The girls stopped dancing and sat down in their spots as Boucher began to speak, though hiding a laugh.

"So ladies, tonight's game is going to be rough. We've lost to them the last two games and I really don't plan on making the third time a charm." He spoke as he fixed his glasses on his nose.
"Today we're trying something different, since we don't have Holly in today due to her injury last game, we're going to start off with Valentine on leftwing and Alice on right. Jude will be starting in net today, and the rest of you it's the same as last game."

Coach Boucher began drawing up some positioning and drills the girls would be doing in practice and at tonight's game. Once he was done his talk, he clapped his clipboard and all of the girls cheered together, chanting Canada.

After a day of practice and roaming around the Air Canada Centre, the ladies finally had their game coming underway and were suited up in their equipment and jerseys. Coach Boucher was giving a final pep talk as Jude sunk her head into her equipment. As she listened to the coach, Holly was seated next to her and handed Jude her goalie helmet that had a crisp, 'C', painted on the side to represent her Captain name, which wasn't able to be sewn into her jersey. Flashing her a quick smile, Jude gave her a thanks as she slid on her helmet and the team was set out to play their hearts out.

Holly went up to the VIP suite with Sadie who was healthy scratched for tonight's game. The two sat in the box and began getting a bag of popcorn each and two soda's. They watched the game unfold as they made small talk. Talking about the game that was now halfway done the first period, they heard the comments from a group of men in the suite next to them. Both raising an eyebrow, they looked over to see a group of young, gorgeous, men. Their eyes widened as one of the guys looked over at them with a shocked look.

"Hey, guys it's Holly Corbett and Sadie Weber!" The boy said, as he hit his friend on the arm lightly.

The guys all turned and smiled at the two, to which they all sat closer to end of their suite which was right beside the two girls. Holly's eyes were fixed on one of the guys who seemed to be older. He had dark blonde hair and a small gap in the front of his teeth which Holly found charming. He was behind all of the boys, but was still listening in on their conversation. She kept her eyes on him the whole time the group talked.

"Haha yeah, that's us." Holly began as one of the younger guys spoke up.
"Hey we should grab drinks after the game!" He spoke out as the one who caught Holly's eye began to talk.
"Yeah that's just because you think Alice is cute." He hit the blonde over the head, as a bunch of them began to laugh. Holly caught eyes with the older guy and nodded, biting her lip slightly. "Yeah we should go out for drinks. A round couldn't hurt, could it?" She asked Sadie who was totally in her own world as her and a brunette were admiring each other.

He was tall, really tall and was built like a god. He had a soft look to him but seemed very serious. He had his eyebrow raised at her the whole time as she would take a sip of her pop in a seductive way. Holly rolled her eyes at them and began to laugh as she stretched her hand out to the suite full of men.

"Pass me your phone, I'll give you guys my number and you can text me after the game."

A phone landed in her palm and she noticed it was the attractive dirty blonde. She bit her lip softly as she began entering her number and name before giving it back to him.

"I'm Cody." He whispered to her softly as she blushed, flashing him a quick smile. "Nice to meet you, Cody." She said as he flashed her a quick wink before the rest of the guys began asking the two girls questions about hockey and their life on the road. The rest of the game, the two groups had a fun time until the game was done. The final score was 4-2, and the girls were sure as hell ready to celebrate their first win in the series, especially in their own county. Walking out of the suite a while after the game, Holly and Sadie walked into their elevator and made their way down to the locker room. They walked in just as Boucher was about to begin, to which they took their usual spots. Once Boucher was done his talk, they all cheered in happiness as he and the rest of the manager's walked out, leaving the girls alone. Music blared from the IPod dock, as a few of the girls began to dance. Jude was undressing along with Audrey, when Holly began to speak.

"Hey girls, so Sadie and I met some cute boys in the suite. They wanted to know if we wanted to go for drinks." She announced as Audrey quickly perked up, agreeing with a yes, as Jude did the opposite.
"No, don't go get hooked up on random guy's we're bound to never see again." Jude spoke as Audrey sighed, sitting back and looking at the ceiling.

"Don't be such a prude, Jude." Audrey said as she then laughed to herself, saying it again. "Jude the Prude." She began as Holly joined in before Jude's face grew angry, red colouring her complexion.

"Fine, shut the fuck up, we'll go." She announced as Audrey stood up, clapping her hands in excitement.

"Ladies, listen up! We're going out tonight to celebrate, Holly and Sadie found us some cute boys to mingle with, what do you say?" She said as about seven of the girls on the team perked up and nodded and began cheering, as the rest decided to stay low and just relax at the hotel.

Audrey looked down at Jude who was trying to hide a smirk while talking. "Let's go meet these guys."
