Waiting for Superman

I got home and plopped down on the couch. Throwing my hair up in a messy bun, and changing into a tank top and shorts, I sat with Charlie on the couch. I picked up my phone to see a few texts from friends back home but the only one I cared about was Patrick's.

How was I going to make it through ten days,no Patrick, no sex, just me and Charlie.

I woke up the next morning and got ready for work. I hadn't seen Julie in what seemed like weeks.
"Hey stranger!" She said as I walked into work and put my bag down.

"Hi" I said.

"What's wrong?" she asked sweetly.

"Oh nothing, just a little nauseous." I said.

"I've got some news for you" she was happy, "I'm gonna be a mom!"

"What?! Julie thats amazing!" I said giving her a hug.

I was happy for Julie, I was just in a bad mood. I was tired, I miss Patrick, and I really just wanted to go home. My Mom had been calling me for weeks and every time I tried to get back to her something seemed to come up.

The day was dragging on, I didn't get any work done at all. At 5 o'clock I practically ran home. I got in a hot bubble bath hoping it would make me feel better, it really didn't.

I sat on the couch, curled up with Charlie, my head was pounding, and I had felt nauseous all day, and then it hit me.

I ran to the bathroom cabinet and pull out a small, pink container of pills. "Oh my God." I put my head in my hands and sat down on the toilet. After coming to terms with the fact that I had forgotten to take my birth control pills.

I grabbed my purse and ran down the street to the nearest drug store.I bought a package of pregnancy tests and headed home.

Waiting for the test was by far the longest three minutes of my life.

"Come on, come on" I said as I shook the test in my hand.

After three minutes,

I let out a huge sigh of relief.

I returned to the couch next to Charlie patting him on the head. Suddenly I had to start thinking about Patrick and I's future. Would we get married someday? Would we have kids? Thinking about it made me smile.


Patrick's POV

When we touched down in California and the guys were all still pretty hyped from our win in Chicago.
"Hey Kaner, we're going to drink,you in?" Shaw said.
"Sure i'm,down." I said.
Tazer, Saader, Sharpy, Shawzie, Bicks, and I headed to the hotel to change and ended up in a cool sports bar in downtown Los Angeles.
An hour in everyone was pretty trashed. Tazer was getting grinded on pretty graphically by a slutty-looking, brunette girl.
I was downing the rest of my beer when a redhead came up to me, she was dressed in a strapless,green mini dress. Before I could stop her she had her tongue down my throat as she straddled me.
I was so drunk, I could barely realize what was happening. I pushed her back but it was too late. People had seen, they definatley had pictures, I was fucked.

I decided not to text Kylie when I was absolutely shit faced. The boys and I stumbled back to our hotel around 3am. I passed out over the sheets on my bed, still dressed in my clothes from the night.

I had no idea what I had done, and how bad I had just fucked myself over.
