Cold As Ice

“I can’t believe Jordan isn’t coming.” Ariel hissed, Jordan had cancelled on their plans to drive to New York for the Penguins vs. Rangers game tonight.
“She wanted to be with Jake, he drove all the way to Buffalo to see her.” Fiona explained.
“Gross.” Ariel rolled her eyes and made a gagging noise.
“You’re doing the same thing for Sid.” Sam pointed out; Ariel looked over her shoulder sending Sam a glare. Sam rolled her eyes at her friend.
“Can someone check to see if Vi and Kayla are still behind us?” Ariel asked, Kenzie looked out the window to see Violet and Kayla driving right behind them.
“Yeah.” Kenzie replied. They had to take two cars for the trip due to the fact that they couldn’t fit the 7 of them in one car.
“Did you sleep with James again?” Sam asked Fiona, she nodded her head and smiled to herself, sleeping with him was even better the second time.
“Did you sleep with anyone?” She asked.
She nodded, “I think his name was Olli, I don’t remember I was drunk.” Sam laughed.
“Nice one! He’s hot!” Fiona admitted, Sam nodded her head agreeing with her. The minute Sam saw Olli she knew she needed to make a move, especially after scoring that night, he deserved to get laid. Sam looked over at Kenzie who had been glued to her phone the whole trip.
Sam nudged her grabbing her attention, “Pat?” She whispered, Kenzie nodded her head as her cheeks blushed. She gave Sam her phone showing her the text messages they had been sending since the day he left.
“Have you talked to Jon?” Kenzie asked, Sam shook her head; she hadn’t spoken much to Jon since the girlfriend situation.
“You should, Patrick says he misses you.” Kenzie reassured, Sam looked over at Kenzie and faked a smile. She doubted Jon actually missed her, if he missed her so much he would try to talk to her.
“So why hasn’t he texted me?” Sam asked, Ariel overhead the conversation going on in the back seat.
“It works both ways Samantha!” Ariel snapped, she kept her eyes on the road but could feel Sam glaring at her.
“Fiona would know,” Ariel smirked, Fiona punched Ariel’s arm causing her to shriek. “Fiona I’m driving!” She yelled.
“You’re a bitch,” Fiona hissed, “And for your information I did talk to Jeff.”
“You did?” Kenzie asked, Fiona nodded her head before explaining the phone call between her and Jeff.
“And you say I’m a bitch,” Ariel scoffed, “Jeff is completely in love with you and you keep breaking his heart.”
“How many hearts have you broken Ariel?” Sam laughed; Ariel was the queen at breaking hearts.
“I would never do that to Jeff, he’s an angel.” Ariel smiled sweetly.
“Can we stop talking about it?” Fiona hissed, she was sick and tired of everyone telling her how to handle her relationship, they had no right to voice their opinions considering they had no idea what happened between her and Jeff.
“No Fiona, you need to talk about it!” Ariel snapped.
“He cheated on me!” Fiona cried, she looked out the window avoiding the looks from her friends.
“That son of a bitch, “Sam spat, “I’m going to kill him!”
“No! He doesn’t know that I know!” Fiona explained the story about when she walked in on Jeff with another girl; he was too busy to realize she was there.
“You just walked out!” Ariel yelled.
“What was I supposed to do?” Fiona shouted.
“Grab that slut off your man and beat the shit of him using her body!” Ariel suggested.
“I couldn’t. I just left and the next day I grabbed my things, I told him leaving everything behind and moving to Carolina was a mistake and that I needed some space.” Fiona explained.
“I can’t believe you let him cheat on you like that!” Sam mumbled.
“I still broke up with him; he just doesn’t know that I know.” Fiona shrugged, she had kept that a secret from everyone for two months and it felt good to finally be able to tell someone.
“Jokes on him because I slept with Elias two days later.” Fiona smirked.
“You didn’t!” Kenzie gasped.
“If he thinks he can cheat on me and get away with it he’s wrong. I fucked his friend and enjoyed it.”
“I’m so proud.” Ariel smiled as she began to tear up.

Jordan stirred as Jake tried to get up, “Stay.” She whispered as she hugged his torso, he lay back down and warped his arm around her.
He played with her blonde hair as he admired the way she slept; her bare chest was pressed against him and her legs were tangled with his. He ran his hands up and down her spine making her shiver, he smiled to himself he loved the effect he had on her.
“I’m going to break your heart.” He confessed, Jordan’s head lifted off his chest and looked up at him, her eyes staring deeply into his.
“What?” She mumbled.
“This isn’t going to work out; I’ll end up breaking your heart.” It wouldn’t be fair of him not to warn her of his actions.
“Maybe I’ll break yours.” She playfully smirked.
“No one breaks my heart.” He scoffed. She sat up covering her chest with the duvet.
“I can.” Jake laughed to himself, there was no way he’d let her break his heart, he was smarter than that; he knew every trick ever played, he was a trickster himself.
“Not possible sweetie.” He pinched her cheek and laughed when she slapped it away.
“I’m going to make you cry.” Jordan smirked.
