Fate

"Keirstyn, come on let's go! We have to meet the girls down at the game and grab drinks before!" Faith called for her friend Keirstyn from their living room of their condo. Their upscale Toronto high rise was down the street from the Air Canada Center, but Faith wanted to see her friends before the game before they had to go their separate ways for the game due to their different seating. Keirstyn was seated on a stool in her own personal bathroom, applying the last touches of her mascara before getting up and going out to Faith.

"I'm coming!" She called as she grabbed her phone off of the counter and walked out of her room.

Faith had her arms crossed as she wore one of Autumn's Penguin's jersey's, which was lent to her. On the back it said Crosby, but Autumn made sure that Faith claim to not even like him if anyone even looked at her jersey. Keirstyn had just a plain shirt on and a yellow and black plaid shirt tied around her waist, claiming that if she seen Beau she didn't want to come off as a fan. All of the girls rolled their eyes are her claims but let her do her own thing.

"Alright, let's go." Faith announced as Keirstyn nodded, walking out of their apartment and making their way to the Air Canada Center.

All around the main entrance were people in ether Leafs or Penguins gear. The sea of Blue and Yellow was seen all down the streets as well, as people came to watch the game. Walking through the large crowd, Faith and Keirstyn pushed their way to the side of the will call box, where the group agreed to meet up. Once they got there, they saw Jordan, Autumn, and Kenzie leaning against the wall. Jordan had her Gardiner jersey on, which went down to her knees due to the baggy style of the jersey. Autumn had her Crosby jersey on as well, which she paired with a pair of jeans and high black boots. Kenzie had Jordan's winter classic, Bernier, jersey on, because she wasn't able to sport a Hawks jersey to the game. Running over to the girls, they greeted each other with hello's before Autumn spoke up.

"Where are Victoria and Steph?" She asked as Faith checked her phone.
"Last time I they texted me, they were five minutes away. Which was..five minutes ago." Faith spoke as she then felt Steph's arms wrap around her in a surprise hug.

"Hey baby it's Jeff." Steph said with a deep voice, as Faith gave a small scream in fear.

She turned around and hit Steph in the arm, to which she gave her a death stare. Speaking up, Jordan rubbed her hands together and smiled widely.

"Let's go grab some drinks!"

As an hour passed from when the seven girls grabbed their drinks from Hoops sports bar, across the road from the Air Canada Center, the girls went back as it was almost game time. They scanned their tickets at the gate and then made for their separate ways. Jordan and Autumn were able to snatch a pair of tickets in the lower bowl, right behind the leafs bench. Faith, Keirstyn, and Kenzie grabbed seats in the lower bowl as well, as did Victoria and Steph, but they were a little higher up. Once in their seats, Autumn and Jordan became excited as it was time for the national anthem to come on and the game to begin. As the whole arena stood up, the girls stood up, as Autumn quickly whispered in Jordan's ear.

"If Sidney comes near here, I hope you know I'll climb over your Leaf's and onto the ice."

Once the anthem ended, the girls sat down and began to cheer wildly. As the Pens came on, Autumn began to scream, making Jordan laugh. That was until the Leafs then came on. Jordan felt her knees give as she looked down at her lap.

"Holy shit, holy shit. Lupul is right there." She began as Autumn moaned out Sidney's name, making the older man beside them give her a weird look before facing the other way.

Jordan and Autumn laughed softly at the older man's actions before the teams took their positions and got ready for the puck drop. Holding onto Autumn's hand tightly, Jordan shook as she whispered to Autumn.

"Jake's right there.." She began as she was scared he'd hear her because of how close they were.

Autumn rolled her eyes, telling her to grow up, that was until Sid took off with the puck and she began to wave her arms around in excitement.

Through out the game, the girls cried over their teams as the score was 3-1 for the Pens. With 4 minutes and 36 seconds left on the clock, Franson skated down the ice and passed the puck off to Kadri while he stayed at the blue line. The puck moved around the Penguin's end widely as Franny got hold of the puck. Attempting to take a shot, her decided on giving to Jake who had a clear shot. Jake winded the stick back and took a shot. The puck hit the back of the net as the buzzer went off, as did the Leafs fans. Everyone jumped up and began cheering as Jordan screamed and began clapping for Jake who was hugging his team mates. Making his way off of the ice, he skated onto the bench as Jordan sat back and did a little happy dance in her seat. Autumn gave Jordan a mischievous look as she then opened her mouth and spoke loudly.

"Gards, I know a lady available to celebrate with you after the game!" Autumn yelled out as Jordan's eyes grew wide, her face turning a deep red.

Jake's head turned around slowly, along with Kadri's, as they both looked at the two girls. Autumn began pointing to Jordan with a huge smile on her face. Jordan had her head in hands and was shaking her head in embarrassment. Much to Jordan's dismay, Jake took a careful look at Jordan as she put her head up to yell at Autumn. He smirked softly as he nodded towards Jordan. Being yelled at by Jordan who didn't notice Jake's actions, Autumn hit the blonde and began to speak.

"He's looking at you and smiled!" Autumn began as Jordan's eyes grew wider, spinning around to see Jake send a wink before turning around.

Jordan felt her insides explode as she covered her mouth in pure shock.

"You're welcome." Autumn whispered into her ear as Jordan stayed still the rest of the game.

As the game came to an end, the Penguins ended up winning, causing Jordan to be upset.

"Oh come on, we'll go drink it off." Autumn encouraged as Jordan nodded and grabbed her belongings, getting ready to take off.

As the girls began walking up the steps, they were met by a male voice.

"Hey wait!" The man said as they turned around to see a man in a Leaf's zip up jacket, much like the Leaf's crew.

Giving the man a weird look, the girls looked at him skeptically as he began to speak. "Gardiner wanted me to give you this, and to text him. I have to get back in the locker room, though."

And with that, the man walked off and made his way back into the Leaf's alleyway and into the locker room. Jordan held the piece of paper with Gardiner's phone number while Autumn stood beside her, just as shocked.

"No fucking way." Autumn began as Jordan felt lightheaded.

"I'm going to faint." She began she then sat in the seat along side Autumn who quickly got their friends on speed dial.
