Fate

For Faith, her story with Jeff was slightly different. Since Jeff had the two weeks off, he was already staying in the city to visit his family. This also gave Jeff the opportunity to see Faith more. The two went on dates almost every night, ether it was a restaurant or just to a movie. Faith had fallen hard for Jeff, as he did the same. The thing was, Jeff was hiding something from Faith. Jeff was in a relationship still with actress, Cristine Prosperi, of Degrassi. He was starting to already lose feelings for her due to her cheating on him multiple times, he just didn't know how to tell her that didn't love her anymore. Today was the day Jeff was going to confess to Faith about his and Cristine's relationship. There was no doubt he was nervous, because he knew of what Sidney did to Autumn, and he didn't want to be that douche bag. Though he already believed he was, he wanted to tell Faith that he was interested in her and was going to break it off with Cristine. Jeff walked up to the lobby doors of Faith's apartment as he buzzed her down. There he sat on the couch with a rose as Faith came down the stairs, a beautiful red dress flowed down her body to her knees. His eyes grew wide as he smiled, standing up to greet her. She blushed softly as he extended to flower to her.

"You look beautiful." He whispered as she smiled softly.

"You look pretty hot I guess, too." She winked as he laughed, rolling his eyes.

The two had gone out to dinner and went to the Aquarium after, on a private tour. They were hand in hand walking below the glass where the fish swam, as he knew now was the time to confess. He stopped in his path as Faith stopped, looking at him with a confused smile. He shook his head as he took a deep breath and began to tell her.

"Look, Faith. I haven't been honest with you.." He bit his lip as she felt herself grow hollow inside.

"What are you talking about?" She asked as he stepped forward, closing the gap between them.

"I should have told you this earlier and I know you're not going to accept me for this. I mean it's the douchest thing I could ever do and you don't deserve to go through thi-" He told her before she cut him off with a kiss.

She let her lips linger on his for a moment as he felt relaxed in her presence. Something about Faith made Jeff feel safe.

"I'm not going to judge you, just tell me.." She whispered as he nodded.

"I have a girlfriend, but please don't think I'm just using you. I have no feelings for her." He quickly spat out as Faith raised a brow.

"You're cheating on someone, with me?" She asked as he nodded, a scared look on his face.

"Who is it?" She asked.

"Cristine Prosperi, you know from Degrassi?" He whispered as she began to laugh, which confused Jeff.

"Oh God!" She yelled out with a laugh as Jeff spoke up.

"What?" He asked, feeling upset, knowing she'd be bound to yell at him any second.

"This is great, just amazing!" She chimed as he frowned.

"I'm sorry, please just let me explain.." He cried as she looked at him, raising a brow.

"I'm not mad, I'm ecstatic!" She told him as he was officially confused out of his mind.

"Why?" He asked, studying her face.

"Jeff I haven't been honest ether.. I knew about it the whole time.." She confessed as his eyes grew wide.

"What do you mean?!" He asked, not sure of what was going on.

"I know you two were dating, I'm a fan of yours Jeff.." She whispered as he raised a brow.

"So more than just a hurricanes fan, eh?" He winked as she laughed softly, nodding.

"I don't like your girlfriend." She confessed as he pursed his lips out, engulfing her in a hug.

"I don't ether."

"Then break up with her."

"I'm going to, I promise."

"Don't make a promise to me, I'm saying leave her because you're unhappy with your relationship.."

"I'm breaking up with her for not only me, but for us. I want us to have a future together."

Faith looked up at Jeff as he admired her eyes as she did the same. She went on her toes as she wrapped her hands around his neck, pulling him down to her. His lips pressed to hers as the two of them stood there in each others arms for a long time. Eventually the two went home to Faith's place, where Jeff was to sleepover. As they were seated on the couch, Jeff wanted to get his break up out of the way, so he'd have no baggage in starting a new relationship with Faith. He pulled out his phone as Faith was snuggled against his chest. She noticed he wasn't watching the movie anymore as she looked up at him.

"I'm going to go break it off." He told her as she nodded, putting a hand on his cheek.

"Good luck." She whispered as he nodded, pecking her lips before getting up to an empty room to call.

As he was dialling his girlfriends number, he received a call from his agent. He answered the phone as he looked around the room at the photos of Faith on the wall, making him smile as he knew he was in Faith's room.

"Jeff, good news! There's a commercial Honda wants you to do, you up for it?" Nick asked as Jeff smiled.

"Sure, when is it?" He asked.

"Next Wednesday, that cool?"

"Yeah, yeah. Where is it?"

"They said they could meet up with you in Toronto if you'd like."

"Sure, that sounds great."

"So what's up kid?"

"Uh, just hanging out.." He bit his lip.

"You're with a girl aren't you?" Nick asked, knowing Jeff too well.

"Maybe.." He said in a higher voice.

"Well that's all cute and stuff but you have a girlfriend."

"I was actually going to call Cris up to uh, break it off.." He laughed awkwardly as Nick raised his voice.

"You're what!? Ha, no way man. She's bringing in publicity for you. This thing with this girl you have, is just a fling. You better break that off and stop playing these little games kid. Sort your stuff out and check back into reality in a week."

Jeff's eyes were wide as the line went dead. He was set into a relationship based on lies just to get publicity? He bit his lip as he looked out at Faith on the couch. He knew he couldn't hide this from her, he couldn't lie again. He walked out as he sighed, sitting down. Faith looked at him as she massaged his hands.

"How'd it go?" She asked, concerned.

"I didn't do it.."

"Why not? Are you having second thoughts about us?" She asked as he shook his head quickly.

"No, no! My agent called.. He said I can't break it off with her.." He spoke softly.

"Why not?" She asked, feeling slightly sad.

"He said it's for publicity.." He whispered, looking down at his hands.

"Do you want to be with her though and is it only business?" She asked.

Jeff nodded, biting his lip.

"I only want you, I'm not interested in her." He confessed.

Faith took his face in her hands as she looked into his eyes.

"Then we'll be together, just behind closed doors.."

"Wait, seriously?" He asked, confused to what was happening.

"Yeah, I want to be with you and if I know that you only want me and you're with her just for publicity then it's fine. We'll work through it." She smiled.

"How did I get so lucky with you?" He laughed softly as he picked her up, setting her on his lap.

She held him close to her as they kissed passionately, his hands running up her big t-shirt. She grounded herself into him as he moaned into the kiss.
