"Well Savannah, Welcome to your new job!" "Thank you I'll make sure to do a good job." I smiled politely while praying I would get out of this office soon. It was stuffy, and not to mention hot. "Would you like to go meet your new co-workers?" he asked while smiling. "Of course!" I smiled back.

".....And most importantly, this is where you'll be spending most of your time!" he said leading me into the medical room, ending this tour that seemingly lasted forever. "Thank you." I smiled once again as he held the door for me. "Savannah, this is Lucy, the head of the medical department." "Are you our new physical therapist?" Lucy asked me while drying her hands on a towel before reaching out to shake my hand. "Yes she is, key word being new," said the man who had not only interviewed me but also gave me a tour of the facility," so make sure you're nice to her on her first day." "I'll be nice to her, but I can't promise anything for anyone else" Lucy said giggling slightly. "Well I should get back to work, a lot of paperwork to do..." The man said rolling his eyes. "I can only imagine.." said Lucy causing them both to laugh. "So..." Lucy said once he left," Have you ever worked with a sports team before?" "I worked with the Blue Jackets before I came here." I said as she sat down on one of the tables set up in the room. "Nice, nice" She said as she looked over at the door to see someone coming in. "Can I help you?" she asked rudely to the tall figure. "I think I tore a muscle in the morning skate." he said back just as rudely. "Alright, sit down" she said gesturing to the table. "By the way, this is the new girl.." "Savannah?" he said before she could finish. "James?" I asked. As soon as he turned around i could recognize him. I mean how could I not? "I haven't seen you in forever!" I smiled politely while secretly wanting to run away as fast as I could. "I know it's been awhile..." He smiled back. "Then I guess there's no need for introductions..." Lucy said walking over to James and pushing down on his chest until he got the hint to lay down. "Where did you tear this muscle?" She asked. "Lower right leg" he said simply, glaring at her. "Alright" was all the said before she got straight to work.

"So you know James.." Lucy said quietly while cleaning up. It was about 4 o'clock now, most of the players long gone. We had a few come in and out during the day resulting in me meeting Craig Adams, Brandon Sutter, and Beau Bennett. James came back in just before he left to say goodbye, resulting in Lucy saying goodbye coldly and me just simply waving. "I guess you could say that." I sighed. "He's an ass." She said simply, resulting for us both to burst out laughing. "Believe me.... I know" I said still laughing. "The rest of them are great guys though..... mostly." she said turning to face me while leaning back onto the counter. "They seem great." I smiled politely. "Lucy, if I come in early tomorrow, what time will you be here?" said another guy that stood in the doorway, not even looking up from his phone. "Around 7, but if you need me to come in any earlier I can." She said flirtatiously her eyes never leaving the guy in the doorway. "No that should be good." he said just now looking back at her, then over to me. "You must be the new girl." he said smiling, walking over to me, and shaking my hand. "I'm Sidney." "Savannah" I said smiling while looking into his captivating brown eyes. "It's so great to meet you Savannah." He said smiling, still holding onto my hand.
