"I just..... Don't get it" James said pacing back and forth pulling gently at his hair, running his fingers through it. I sat on the hotel bed, him asking questions, me answering them. He had been pacing back and forth the whole time, his hands never leaving his hair.

"It's not like I did it on purpose." He said turning to face me for what seemed like the first time, "The wedding was planned, It was 3 months away, You couldn't have waited 3 months?" I could tell by the look on his face and his sarcastic tone of voice that he was just growing angrier by the second.

"It had been 6 years James, You had never changed" I said simply, staring at the floor.

"You could have said something, I could have changed for you and Jake" he said just now kneeling down to hold my hands in his.

"I know" I said looking down at my hands, small compared to his.

"I missed you guys" He said sitting down on the bed next to me, running his hands through his hair.

"I know, you've said that before" I laughed to myself.

"I mean it" He laughed hugging me from the side. "I know" I laughed with him leaning my head against his shoulder.

"Big game tomorrow, huh hot shot?" I said, breaking the silence. "What game isn't a big game?" He said smiling. "I guess you're right" I smiled, looking up at him.

"I always am" he joked. "Full of yourself much?" I laughed standing up. "Why shouldn't I be?" He asked laughing.

"Aren't you just so funny?" I asked sarcastically. "I guess that just gives me another thing to be cocky about huh?" he laughed as I pushed him in the shoulder lightly. "Oh, Definitely" I said as I put on my shoes and grabbed my coat, getting ready to walk over to my hotel room.

"Good luck tomorrow" I said as I turned to leave, my hand on the doorknob. "Thanks" He said coming closer to me and sliding his arms around my waist. "Goodnight" I smiled staring up at him. "Goodnight" He stood there smiling at me.

"What?" I asked. "I meant what I said before" He said still smiling as if hinting that I should know what he was talking about. I just raised my eyebrow at him, "When we were ice skating" He laughed at me. "I still have no idea what you're talking about" I laughed. "You're amazing" he said before he kissed me.

As he kissed me he lead me back towards the bed in the center of the room. When I felt the back of my legs bump into the bed, he slowly leaned forward, causing me to fall backwards onto the bed.

Piece by Piece, he slowly stripped me of my clothing and I did the same to him. The more we kissed the more lustful it became. "You have no idea how much I missed you" He laughed as he slowly kissed my neck, each kiss getting lower and lower and lower.

I woke up to sunlight making its way through the curtains. I stretched, still exhausted from last night. "Good morning Gorgeous" I heard from behind me. I turned around, landing myself face-to-face with James. "Good morning" I smiled at his shirtless figure. He pulled me closer to him, his arms wrapped around my waist, my head leaning against his chest.

"I could get used to this" I smiled. "Ditto" He laughed causing his chest to shake lightly. I rolled of his chest placing my head back on the pillow his arm still around me.

"No practice this morning?" I asked playing with his fingers gently. "Not that I know of" He laughed.

"Good" I smiled tracing the outlines of the tattoos on my arms.

Next thing I knew his phone was ringing, "Are you going to get that?" I laughed at him for not even noticing it ringing.

"No" He said simply.

"What if it's an emergency?" I said faking shock at his answer.

"Fine" He sighed leaning over to the bedside table to answer his phone. "Hello?" He mumbled, "Oh Hey mom" He said looking over at me so I would know who he was talking to. "Yeah sure put him on" He said leaning up to sit on the edge of the bed.

"Hey buddy" He said, I could hear the smile in his voice. "Are you really?" He laughed, walking to the bathroom. "That's great!" I could barely hear him. "How's grandma?" he asked faintly. "Crazy?" He laughed, "You know you're pretty crazy too" I started to get dressed as he was on the phone and I could tell by the noises coming from the bathroom that he was too.

"Do you want to talk to momma?" He asked coming out of the bathroom with pants on but no shirt.

He handed me the phone and went back into the bathroom to get a shirt I'm guessing.

"Hello?" I asked waiting to hear the cute voice of my little boy.

"MOMMY!" He yelled into the phone. 'Hey baby" I smiled, laughing to myself. "Are you getting ready for school?" I asked. "Yes" He sighed, which I imagined came along with him rolling his eyes. "Grandma made pancakes for breakfast" I could tell he was smiling. "Did she really?" I laughed turning to face the windows. "Yeah" He said simply, "And...She put whipped cream on them" He said as if it were the biggest surprise in the world. "Did she really?" I asked pretending to be shocked. "Yup" He said, causing a silence after that. "I gotta go mommy" He said sadly. "Alright buddy. Have fun at school" I said, upset that I didn't get to talk to him longer. "I will" He said, "Bye momma, tell daddy I said bye" "I will" I smiled at how cute he was, "Bye baby".

After that he hung up and as I turned around to give the phone to James, he was right behind me. "Jesus" I said shocked, "You just scared the shit out of me" "Sorry" He laughed. "Here" I said shoving the phone against his chest. "Hey, no need to get cranky miss" He laughed. "I know, I know" I smiled at him as he placed his arms around my waist. I put mine around his neck and kissed him lightly, "I need to go" I laughed. "Not yet" He whined begging me to stay. "Yes" I smiled. "Alright Fine" He said as he let go of me.

"Goodbye" I smiled at him hugging him one last time. "Bye" He smiled holding the door for me.
