"Table for two please"

"Sure, Right this way!" as we are escorted to our seats.

"The seafood here is amazing, I don't know how I found this hidden gem."

"Did you randomly walk in here one day?" Reilly asks.

"I got lost around here once with Katie and we were hungry so we walked in here. Only the locals know about it. You'll love it!"

"I better! If not I'm never letting you pick again" he said laughing.

"Reilly!" I slap him lightly in the hand.

"I'm kidding, re-lax!" Being all sassy, trying to flip his ‘long’ hair.

"Hahahaha! That was the greatest thing I've even seen! Do it again!"

"Hell no" he was back to being all serious again.

"Ahahaha! I'm sorry...Ok I'll stop" trying to contain myself.

"You good now?"

I nod my hair, whipping tears out of the corner of my eye. Took a deep breathe.

"Ok ready to order?" As the waitress comes over.

"What would you guys like to order?" She turns towards me.

"We're going to share a plate of fried calamari and I'll have a bowl of clam chowder please"

"Ok and you hun?"

"I'll try the lobster roll and a bowl of clam chowder as well"

"Okay Hun, great choice! Those will be right out" as she flashes Reilly a smile.

I couldn't help laughing.

"What?"

"Nothing."

He keeps staring at me..

"Ok since you don't feel like sharing, how about we do 20 questions. I want to get to know you better. Ready?"

"Oh boy, Ok shoot!"

"I think its really cool that you’re going to be a pharmacists. Why pharmacy?"

"I’ve always wanted to be in the medical field because that’s what my parents do. I enjoy working with patients one on one and actually communicate with them unlike doctors that only asks questions that they have to and go to the next person because they have no time. I like the hands on experience. If they have a question, they can just talk to me rather than sitting in a waiting room for hours just to ask a simple question, you know?"

"That’s amazing, you’re amazing. I’m sure people love you, because you’re very easy to talk to. What about your family?"

"Aw! Thanks Reilly! I grew up in Southern Mass, my family still lives there, my dad is a anesthesiologist and my mom is a nurse. I have a younger brother whose still in high school, going to graduate soon. I'm very close to my family. I miss them like crazy, I try to visit them every other weekend, depending on what my schedule is like."

"Oh wow, I didn't know you had a younger brother."

"Yes, we butt heads all the time but I miss the kid like crazy"

"Yeah, ha ha I know what you mean."

"You have two older brothers right? I think you mentioned it once?"

"Yes, growing up with two older brothers had it's ups and downs but now since we only see each other over the summer and holidays it's nice when we all gather together."

"Your poor mom! You guys must have been a handful growing up."

"Ha ha you can say that. Let’s just say things got very competitive all the time and being the youngest, the odds were never in my favor. "

"Aw poor kid!"

“Next question, tell me something not a lot of people know about you?”

I take a deep breath.

“Ok, well I don’t know if you have noticed but I would consider myself to be a very shy person. I thought by now this habit would have changed but it really hasn’t. All of my life I’ve always done what I have been told, that’s just how I am to this day. I don’t really speak up because I tend to think I’m wrong and that’s why I keep things to myself, I’m not very open with many people. It has gotten better over the years but some habits never change. So don’t take it personally. Once I get comfortable with someone its the complete opposite. You’ll see!”

“I have noticed that you’re shy but it doesn’t seem as bad as you claim it to be. It may look like that from your eyes but from my perspective you’re doing just fine.”

“I think I got comfortable with you faster then I usually do with other people. You’re just easy to talk to.”

“You just need someone to push you out of your little shell and I can definitely help with that” He smiles.

“My turn, How do you like it here? Coming to Boston I mean.”

“Well I spend a few years in Dallas but I’m glad I came here. It was hard coming in from the trade last summer because no one really knew me and I didn’t know anyone, it was a little hard. I used to go home in Canada a few times during breaks because I got so homesick. But now its starting to feel like I finally belong.” I reach over and grab his hand.

“I’m glad you’re here” He gives my hand a gentle squeeze.

“Me too. Okay next question, favorite movie?"

"Don't judge me but I would have to say Titanic..."

He bits his lip and just nods.

"Not gonna say anything, I can see it, you must be a sucker for those types of movies" smiling

"Everyone is! I'm sure you are too but would never admit it! Haha! But I love movies in general, I used to go to the movies every weekend when I was younger. I'm not really picky, so I can watch pretty much anything."

"That’s nice to know! I’m more of a comedy/action movie type of guy."

"Typical" I laugh.

"Okay! Here's your fried calamari and you bowl of soup." She doesn't even look at me, faces Reilly and couldn't keep her eyes off of him. She was around her late 20s.

"And here is your lobster roll hun!"

I thank her but she pretends she doesn't hear it. I couldn’t stop smiling. This girl.

"If you need anything just let me know, okay?" As she touches his shoulder and leaves.

"What?" he asks when looking at my facial expression.

"You are so oblivious, its hilarious. I think she might be in love"

"What? No, she's just being nice. Weird Fact-People tend to be nice sometimes" with sarcasm.

"Whatever you say hun. If you need anything just let her know, Okay HUN!" As I start laughing.

"Do I sense a little bit of jealously?" with a curious look on his face.

"Me? Never! I'm just stating the obvious..."

"So am I..." He winks, as my cheeks start to blush.

"Next question."

"Favorite song?"

"Hm I don't have a particular one, I listen to mostly all types of music. But at the moment I’ve been obsessed with All of Me by John Legend.

"I've never heard it...but I learned to love country music. Wait, What music don't you listen to?"

"Country..." As I cover my face with my hand, opening my fingers trying to peak at Reilly.

"You're kidding"

"Nope" I couldn't stop laughing!

"Well we'll just have to change that won't me?" As he smirks

"I don't know...you would have to be very persuasive."

"I’ve been told that I can be very persuasive when I want to be"

"I’ll be the judge of that" as I take a sip of my drink.

"Country though really? Let me guess, Did you start getting into it while you were in Dallas?"

"Yeah" He seemed a little upset and it was a delicate subject. I didn’t want to push it again.

“Ok! How about your favorite food? Most importantly, Can you cook?"

"Me cook? No. It's really bad. I wish I could. But I eat pretty much everything. I like seafood, mostly salmon because I grew up eating it-"

"Aren't you glad I picked this place then?"

"Yes I'm impressed! And the food is amazing! Maybe I'll let you pick places from now on"

I do the classic hair flip, imitating his action from before. He just stares.

"Really?"

"I don't know what you're talking about..." As I give him a wink.

He shakes his head and starts laughing. "What am I going to do with you?"

The waitress pops out of no where.

"How is everything? Would you like another drink?" facing Reilly.

"Delicious! Can I have another water please. Would you like anything babe?” Looks over at me and winks. She looks over with a look of disgust.

Babe? Making me swallow my words.

“I’m good, thank you!”

“Ok just a glass of water and the check when you have the chance?"

"Of course! By the way, call me Brenda!"

"Thank you...Brenda."

"Anytime Hun" and gives him a wink.

As she leaves, he looks at me.

"Oh boy, you should leave her your number on the check"

"Maybe I will" as he shakes his head.

"I’m assuming you get this a lot?"

"What?"

"Never mind, I shouldn't have brought it up. I’m sorry"

"Hey" as he grabs my hand "There is no reason for you to doubt how I feel about you. I really like you Emma, ever since I saw you that night. I hope you feel the same way. I never want to hurt you. You're the only girl I have eyes for."

I squeeze his hand. "It just takes a while to get used to the fact that out of all of the girls out here you're here with me. And I always ask myself ‘Why me? What do I have that others don't?’ Its not something that I’m used too"

"Why you? You're smart, a sweetheart, you have a great sense of humor and I love being around you. I haven't met anyone like you before. You aren't fake or try to be someone you are not. I’ve noticed that you get shy and nervous around me because you don't know me very well and I'm okay with that. We have to give it time. I could go on and on, and this is just from knowing you for a few weeks. Lastly, the most obvious one is how beautiful you are. Looks aren’t everything but they sure help" We both laugh.

I was not expecting all of that. What can I say back.

I put my hand on my cheek and just look at him. My cheeks were burning. He takes his hand and puts it over mine and cups my cheek.

"I will never get used to seeing this" as his thumb strokes my burning cheek.

"You will, eventually. It gets annoying after a while"

"I highly doubt that"

I take his hand from my cheek and kiss it.

"Here's the check, take your time!"

Reilly takes the check. I felt bad for him paying for me. He takes out the card and places it in the leather pad.

"Can we at least split it?"

"Nope"

"Ok. Next time."

"Yeah it's not gonna happen."

"Why are you so difficult?"

He lifts up his shoulders and hands and slightly laughs.

Brenda comes gets the check. And after a few min comes back with the receipt.

"Alright let's go!"

He grabs my hand as we leave the restaurant, before he closes the door

"Thank you Brenda!"

"Come back soon hun!"

We both started laughing. "You're such a flirt! You just made her day!"

He has his arm around my waist as we head to the car.

"Thank you for dinner!" as I give him a kiss on the cheek. He returns by planting a kiss on my forehead.

"When do you have class tomorrow?"

"11"

"So I can steal you for a few more hours tonight, If that's okay with you?"

"Of course"

We drove around and parked near the river. It was cold out so we decided to stay in the car and enjoy the view from our seats. It was beautiful, the moon was shining over the river. It was quiet and peaceful.

"All out of questions?" As I turn my head sideways to meet his eyes.

"Just a few more. Would you want to do this again?"

"Hm...eh...I mean...I guess. I'm pretty busy so I have to see if I can fill you in sometime."

"I see how it is. Damn it I should've left Brenda my number!"

I bursted laughing!

"It was not that funny."

"A little bit...I'm sorry" as he turns his head to the other side, looking out the window. I grab his face and turn it towards me.

I pout my lip.

"Stop being so serious all the time Reills"

"And to honestly answer your question, of course I want to see you again, Do you?"

"Hm..eh...I mean...Absolutely" as he leans in and gives me a kiss on the cheek and stops before he reaches my lips.

"Last question, can I kiss you?"

"Uh huh" as our lips meet. I couldn't get enough of him. His scent, his gentle touch, his warmth so inviting sending chills down my spine.
